Impact Wrestling star Tessa Blanchard has found herself in the midst of a social media battle with other female wrestlers over some ugly stuff.

After Blanchard took a stand for women supporting other women in the professional wrestling industry, she's come under fire for actions she's alleged to have done in the past that don't present the Impact star in a very positive light.

NWA World Women's Champion Allysin Kay, Chelsea Green, and Priscilla Kelly took to Twitter, blasting Tessa Blanchard after Blanchard said, "Hey women, try supporting one another. Cool things happen."

Green then responded, "You've consistently put down, bullied, and belittled countless female coworkers, including me. Is that support?"

Blanchard responded, "I've never been anything but kind to u. I've dealt with mean girls since I started...not saying I'm a saint, hell I've had my ups & downs & I've made silly decisions...Such is life. u have ZERO merit in your comments...Instead putting me down here for a little clout...you've got my #!"

Unfortunately for Blanchard, a number of other female performers had seen and experienced similar things Green claims to have seen and heard. Allysin Kay tweeted, "Remember when you spat in a black woman's face and called her the N-word in Japan? Was that you 'supporting women'? The AUDACITY of this tweet." Green then backed that story saying, "I remember that." Blanchard responded with, "Not true. That's my statement and the most attention I'll give it because of how actually ridiculous it is."

A number of other female wrestlers have chimed in, some in support of Blanchard and others backing the stories of her being abusive towards others. Most of the tweets suggest she did what she's being accused of and that people can change while others are writing that Blanchard needs to practice what she preaches.

In fact, there are so many tweets, it's hard to post them all in one spot.

A Bad Situation All The Way Around

On so many levels this is not good. First, if Blanchard did what she's being accused of, this could pose real issues for her. We've seen other wrestlers in the past have a hard time in the business when it comes out that they've been abusive or racist in the past. That so many women are coming forward speaks to there being an issue here.

It's also not a good look for women's wrestling when it appeared Blanchard's original tweet was meant to be something that could move women forward in the business.

Some are claiming the timing of these tweets is ironic. This is certainly something to keep an eye on as it could get uglier before it gets better.
