Tessa Blanchard became the first female Impact World Champion on Sunday at Hard to Kill.

Blanchard went face-to-face with Sami Callihan during the main event of the pay-per-view event and defeated her opponent via pinfall after landing two Destroyers, followed by a Hammerlock DDT.

Tessa earned the opportunity at a title shot in November after surviving a gauntlet match.

The new champion was also a trending topic earlier this weekend after a handful of allegations were made against her by other female wrestlers via Twitter, one of which she has denied.
