AJ Styles made his long-awaited WWE debut at the 2016 Royal Rumble. After a successful performance, the Phenomenal One and AJ Styles formed a short-lived tag team. They were called Y2AJ. Y2AJ built up some momentum and they found themselves challenging the New Day for the WWE Tag Team Championship.

They failed to take home the WWE Tag Team Championship. Inevitably, Jericho betrayed Styles and he turned heel once again. This tag-team seemed unlikely to happen, but it was good to see two legends on the same page. Once their partnership dissolved, they collided at WrestleMania 32 with Jericho overcoming Styles.

9 Tag Team With Edge

The Bash 2009 was going to be a dreadful night for Chris Jericho as he dropped the Intercontinental Championship back to Rey Mysterio. However, he pulled double duty, and he formed a heavyweight alliance with fellow former World Champion Edge. They challenged The Colons, Cody Rhodes, and Ted DiBiase in a triple threat match for the Unified WWE Tag Team Championship.

Jericho and Edge prevailed to add more Tag Team Championship gold to their cabinet. Unfortunately, before they could gain traction, the Rated-R Superstar ruptured his Achilles injury. Heaven alone knows, how special this alliance could have been had Edge not been injured.

8 The Jericho Appreciation Society

It's not uncommon for a wrestler to leave one faction, and join another one. Chris Jericho's Inner Circle faction had run its course in AEW, and he formed the Jericho Appreciation Society in March 2022. Jake Hager was a member of the Inner Circle, but he followed Jericho in the Jericho Appreciation Society.

The rest of the Jericho Appreciation Society features 2point0, and Daniel Garcia. The stable has only been around for one month so it's hard to rank it high, but its mission is clear, and they are doing a good job so far which adds another layer to Jericho's character, who is a heel once more.

7 Tag Team With The Rock

Chris Jericho and The Rock's feud over the WCW Championship was entertaining. It happened amid the Invasion angle, but the pair found it difficult to put their differences aside. Jericho beat Rock at No Mercy 2001 for his first World Championship run.

Nevertheless, Jericho and Rock challenged the Dudleys for the WWE Tag Team Championship just 24 hours later on Raw. The bitter rivals managed to win the titles from the Dudleys, thus making Jericho a double champion for the second time in 2001. Jericho and Rock had good chemistry together but they were better off as rivals instead of being teammates.

6 The Thrillseekers

Chris Jericho and Lance Storm are close friends and they have a lot in common. They are both Canadian, and they trained in Stu Hart's Dungeon. Jericho and Storm were collectively known as the Thrillseekers, and they got their first break in the United States all thanks to Jim Cornette when they were signed to Smokey Mountain Wrestling.

The Thrillseekers had a good run together, and they were a top tag team in the '90s. Their run gave them exposure but they parted ways with Jericho heading to WCW, and Storm going to ECW. The pair would occasionally team up together in multi-man matches when they were both in WWE.

5 Tag Team With Chris Benoit

Another Canadian whom Chris Jericho had good chemistry with was Chris Benoit. However, for the better part of nine months, Jericho and Benoit feuded which did wonders for both wrestlers' careers.

Their ladder match over the Intercontinental Championship at the 2001 Royal Rumble was outstanding. Nevertheless, Benoit turned face shortly after their rivalry, and they were on the same page by feuding with the Two-Man Power Trip over the WWE Tag Team Championship. Jericho and Benoit captured the titles, and their partnership dissolved a month later with the pair going after Austin's WWE Championship, and Benoit sustained a broken neck.

It's increasingly likely that they would have had a run with the Raw Tag Team Championship but the New Day had a record-breaking run with the gold. Nevertheless, Roman Reigns was one of their main rivals, and Jericho took the United States Championship away from Reigns in January 2017. They were entertaining to watch, and their breakup in the Festival of Friendship was perfectly executed.

3 The Inner Circle

For the first time in Chris Jericho's illustrious career, he was a part of a faction. The Inner Circle was one of the best stables in the history of AEW. Jericho, Sammy Guevera, Jake Hager, Santana, and Ortiz were the original five members of the group.

Those five were the founding members of the faction, and MJF and Wardlow joined the group from November 2020 to March 2021. Jericho was the AEW World Champion for a few months, and Guevara added a couple of TNT Championships to the group. The group imploded in March 2022 but they overstayed their welcome.

2 Tag Team With Christian

After Chris Jericho dropped the Undisputed WWE Championship to Triple H at WrestleMania 18, Jericho featured on the card with brief feuds against the likes of John Cena. Whilst, not an official member, Jericho would hang around the Un-Americans comprised of Christian, Lance Storm, and Test.

Jericho and Christian returned to Raw, and they would capture the WWE Championship from The Hurricane and Kane in the fall of 2002. They were Tag Team Champions for a couple of months, but in truth, Jericho and Christian did not need the titles. Their chemistry together was natural and they were involved in some hilarious skits. They chased after Trish Stratus and Lita in 2003, but Jericho's relationship with Trish soured Jericho and Christian's partnership with Trish leaving Jericho for Christian in a shocking turn of events at WrestleMania 20.

1 Jeri-Show

Had Edge not ruptured his Achilles tendon, it's likely, that fans never would have witnessed the sheer brilliance of Chris Jericho and Big Show's tag team. Jericho handpicked fellow veteran Big Show as Edge's replacement, and they did the Unified WWE Tag Team Championship some justice by appearing on Raw, SmackDown, and ECW. At Night of Champions 2009, Jeri-Show was born, and they were champions for five months.

They feuded with the likes of Legacy, Cryme Tyme, MVP and Mark Henry, Batista, and Rey Mysterio. Their high-profile feud with DX was fun to watch, and it culminated in a TLC match at TLC. Jericho has gone on record saying Big Show is his favorite tag team partner, and you can see why with the chemistry they had together.
