Triple H officially retired from in-ring competition in March 2022 after he had a cardiac event in September 2021. Furthermore, Triple H achieved everything there was to do inside the squared circle. WrestleMania is the Showcase of the Immortals, and Triple H was a constant presence at the event.

In the 2000s, he main evented WrestleMania six times out of 10 editions, which was more than any wrestler in the entire decade. Fans were not interested in seeing Triple H and Roman Reigns go toe-to-toe for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 32. The result was predictable, and it was a typical Triple H match at WrestleMania which went on longer than necessary.

This turned out to be Triple H's final main event at the Showcase of the Immortals. Moreover, Triple H attempted to hit the Big Dog with his signature sledgehammer but it was to no avail with Reigns overcoming the Game to kickstart his third WWE Championship reign.

Triple H's reign of terror was in full swing, and he put the World Heavyweight Championship on the line against Booker T at WrestleMania 19. It was the first time that the World Heavyweight Championship was featured at WrestleMania.

The Cerebral Assassin dominated proceedings although the fans wanted Booker to get the job done. Considering the build leading into the match had racial overtones, Booker should have prevailed but Triple H retained his championship with a Pedigree.

9 Triple H Vs. Sheamus - WrestleMania 26 (3.25 Stars)

Triple H and Sheamus had a hard-hitting match at WrestleMania 26. It was the Celtic Warrior's debut WrestleMania match, and there's no bigger way than going toe-to-toe with the Game. Sheamus used power moves to keep Triple H at bay.

Sheamus almost picked up a huge win over Triple H with his patented Brogue Kick but Triple H found a way to kick out. The former WWE Champion attempted a powerbomb but Triple H countered it and he finished off Sheamus with a Pedigree.

Triple H and The Undertaker was the penultimate match of WrestleMania 17, and the former WWE Champions did not fail to disappoint. Motorhead played Triple H to the ring, but Undertaker had the hometown support with WrestleMania taking place in Houston, Texas.

This was a physical match as expected, and Triple H had a lot of offense. Their match moved towards the top of the stage with Undertaker chokeslamming Triple H off it. Moreover, Triple H blocked the Last Ride as he hit Undertaker flush in the head with a sledgehammer. The Texan wore the proverbial crimson mask and Undertaker triumphed with the Last Ride.

Three of the biggest names in WWE history, Triple H, Randy Orton, and John Cena slugged it out for the WWE Championship in a triple threat match at WrestleMania 24. This triple threat match is underrated, and all three men had a good outing here.

The Game was closing in on his 12th World Championship as he laid out Cena with the Pedigree. However, Orton slithered his way in at the last second as he connected with a vicious punt to Triple H's head, and the Viper covered Cena to escape with the WWE Championship.

6 Triple H Vs. Seth Rollins - WrestleMania 33 (3.5 Stars)

Seth Rollins was looking to slay his former boss Triple H in their Non-Sanctioned match at WrestleMania 33. Triple H is the master of the Pedigree but Rollins also incorporated the move in his skillsets.

This was a remarkable wrestling match between two superb encounters. The turning point of the match was Rollins super kicking Triple H into his wife Stephanie, who crashed through a table on the outside. Triple H was concerned, and Rollins sealed the deal after putting Triple H away with the Pedigree.

5 Triple H Vs. John Cena - WrestleMania 22 (3.75 Stars)

Triple H was looking to recapture the WWE Championship from John Cena at WrestleMania 22. Despite being the heel, the Game received a positive reception from the fans. This was one of the first instances where Cena got booed by the fans as a babyface.

Triple H and Cena knocked it out of the park in a back-and-forth match. Cena's AA is so reliable but Triple H kicked out of it. Moreover, Cena proved his credentials as a worthy WWE Champion as he forced the Game to submit to the STF.

4 Triple H & Stephanie McMahon Vs. Kurt Angle & Ronda Rousey - WrestleMania 34 (4.25 Stars)

The mixed tag team match featuring Triple H and his wife Stephanie McMahon against Kurt Angle and Ronda Rousey, who was making her in-ring debut at WrestleMania 34 was arguably one of the best matches of the night. This encounter went better than many expected.

Stephanie did an exceptional job of standing up to Rousey, and her selling was brilliant as she attempted to stop Rousey from locking in the armbar. Triple H and Angle were the experienced campaigners, who ensured that everything ran smoothly. Ultimately, the Baddest Woman on the Planet left Stephanie helpless with the armbar to pick up the win.

3 Triple H Vs. Daniel Bryan - WrestleMania 30 (4.25 Stars)

Triple H and Daniel Bryan's curtain-raiser at WrestleMania 30 was one of the greatest in the history of WrestleMania. The winner would be added to the WWE Championship match between Randy Orton and Batista to make it a triple threat match in the main event.

The atmosphere was electric, and the Yes Movement was in full effect with the crowd desperate for Bryan to prevail. They got their wish, and Bryan overcame the former multiple-time World Champion to book his spot in the main event, and he went on to win the WWE Championship.

2 Triple H Vs. The Undertaker - WrestleMania 27 (4.5 Stars)

A decade after their first WrestleMania encounter, Triple H and The Undertaker locked horns in a No Holds Barred match. Neither man was a full-time competitor at this point in their careers, but it did not stop them from putting on a very good match on a poor WrestleMania.

The match almost lasted 30 minutes, and Triple H put Undertaker through the broadcast table with a spinebuster. Triple H took out a page out of Undertaker's book by planting him with a Tombstone. Ultimately, Undertaker went 19-0 at WrestleMania after Triple H submitted to Hell's Gate.

Triple H became the first and only man to wrestle The Undertaker three times at WrestleMania. Their Hell in a Cell match at WrestleMania 28 was under the watchful eye of Shawn Michaels who was the special guest referee.

This was the best match in Triple H and Undertaker's series of matches. The veterans left everything out there, and at one point it looked like the streak was going to be broken. HBK connected with Sweet Chin Music and Triple H followed it up with a Pedigree. The Demon of Death Valley found a way to kick out, and he defeated Triple H with a Tombstone to go 20-0 at WrestleMania.
