The Miz may have just enhanced his heel status in a real-life way after reportedly showing up to the WWE's Performance Center exhibiting signs of illness.

WrestleMania 36's scope has changed drastically over the last few days, with matches getting chopped and changed as wrestlers are falling sick. Rey Mysterio and Dana Brooke were the first reported quarantine cases; Miz and Bobby Lashley have also been pulled from this year's 'Mania after taking ill.

Meanwhile, Roman Reigns has withdrawn from his Universal Championship match against Goldberg due to concerns stemming from his battle with leukemia. Reigns is believed to have made the decision himself after it was revealed that Miz was sick.

According to Wrestling Observer Radio's Dave Meltzer, The Usos were pretty displeased with Miz's decision to still report to work despite feeling under the weather.

“Roman Reigns made the call himself. It was interesting because he was there and made the call,” Meltzer remarked (H/T wrestlingnews.co). “It had to do in some form with Miz being sick and The Usos not being happy about it. I don’t really know much else, that’s really all I was told. It’s a weird story because if you followed it, basic logic is that he should have stayed home.

"Everyone’s got a risk but his risk was high, his reward was high too but his risk was real high. For a guy who already has enough money to live the rest of his life and take care of his kids…it was his decision but that decision shouldn’t have been put on him. I don’t know who made the call but it was an obvious call that wasn’t made so I don’t know where in the WWE medical system it fell through but it fell through.”

Great Decision By Roman

The Usos are related to Reigns and are presumably angrier than everyone else. The Big Dog, though, has made the best decision he could make in light of recent circumstances as he can't afford to take any chances.

The coronavirus is now known to be more dangerous to persons who have underlying issues and the likelihood of Reigns living through the pandemic would be lowered significantly if he contracted the respiratory disease.
