The Miz has made a bit of an outlandish claim on social media, vowing to quit WWE if he doesn't headline WrestleMania next year.

This year's show will be hosted in Tampa Bay, Florida. And it will return to Hollywood in 2021, with the Los Angeles Times reporting that will be held inside the new, $5-billion SoFi Stadium and WWE later confirming.

The Miz is apparently keen on being in the main event for the show of shows, and who could blame him? He's certainly made a career for himself, becoming one of 14 grand slam champions in WWE history. He's likely bound for the Hall of Fame, he's already headlined the show in 2011 and, most importantly, he's the Hollywood A-Lister.

Following the announcement, Miz took to Instagram to state: "Wrestlemania is going Hollywood next year. If I don’t Main Event...I quit."

A bold, but fitting ambition. If WrestleMania's going to be in Hollywood - well, it is technically, the SoFi Stadium is in Inglewood - why shouldn't the A-Lister headline?

"If miz doesn't main event we riot," a fan commented. "Then make it happen, do whatever you need to do to make sure you main event. If you don't main event next year I will ball [sic] my eyes out, this is your show as far as im concerned," another wrote.

Judging from the comments, most fans seem to be in agreement with Miz being part of the top draw for Mania, but quitting?

He's Joking, Of Course

We're pretty certain he doesn't actually mean that but Miz's post indicates serious intent.

He appears set for a great year now that his buddy John Morrison has returned to WWE, so lets see where this goes.

The Hollywood A-Lister headlining WrestleMania 37 in Hollywood, we're all for it. Make it happen, Miz.
