When it was announced recently that WrestleMania 34 would take place in New Orleans, many of you were probably wondering why? Not because it is a bad city or a bad venue, as that is definitely not the case on both counts. But, WrestleMania was there just three years ago with WM 30. So, why did they go back so soon?
Well, Wrestling Observer Radio is saying that the WWE decided to go back next year because next year is New Orleans' tricentennial and city officials have told the WWE that WM 34 would be a key player in the celebrations.
And there is no way the WWE was going to miss out on a chance to be a major participant in a city's 300th anniversary festivities. So, back they go to "Laissez les bons temps rouler!"
