The Reason Why Tyler Breeze's Push Ended

Remember when Tyler Breeze was promoted to WWE and it looked like he was getting a push, in light of a feud with Dolph Ziggler? Well, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, his push was ended in a matter of months because of Vince McMahon.

"Regarding Tyler Breeze going from WWE NXT to the main roster, Triple H reportedly really wanted to protect Breeze and saw him as a heel on the level of Dolph Ziggler. Vince McMahon agreed and started Breeze at that level but then wasn't convinced and ended the push immediately."

This shouldn't come as a surprise -- how could Breeze get over when all he was really doing was just taking selfies, attacking Ziggler and sitting ringside without doing anything of note such as a promo? Along with the 50/50 booking that WWE are so hell bent on, Breeze had virtually no chance. If only he was given as much time as Roman Reigns?
