Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder received five-year contract offers from WWE several months ago, but there aren't many signs that the SmackDown Tag Team Champions are keen on sticking around.

It was reported back in January that The Revival requested to be released from the company. Though WWE didn't grant their wishes, Dawson and Wilder certainly seem ready to move on to another opportunity.

On their respective Twitter pages, both talents posted a photo of themselves mimicking The Young Bucks' signature pose, a major tease that they could be heading towards the AEW promotion.

It's worth noting that Wilder also teased a move to AEW along with Randy Orton back on Oct. 24. This came after the Viper seemed to express interest in joining AEW, though he recently signed a new multi-year deal with WWE.

If The Revival are truly keen on heading to AEW, they won't have to wait much longer. According to Fightful.com, their contracts run up in April 2020, though it was noted that Wilder's deal had 10 more weeks added on.

WWE has seemingly tried to convince Dawson and Wilder to stay by giving them stronger pushes in the tag team division. But unless they're just playing mind games, it really seems like they're preparing to leave.

There's no shortage of frustrated and disgruntled superstars in WWE. Luke Harper, Mike Kanellis and Sin Cara have all gone public about their desires to be released. So far, however, the company has refused to grant their wishes. At least with Dawson and Wilder, WWE can't do anything about them wanting to leave, with their contracts about to run up.

Revival May Be Better Off In AEW

Though Dawson and Wilder have received bigger pushes as of late, it appears as though it's come too little too late for WWE. The SmackDown Tag Team Champions can probably have more success in AEW, where The Young Bucks, Cody Rhodes and Chris Jericho can help make the most of their talents. Really, it only feels like a matter of time until Dawson and Wilder leave.
