A couple of months ago, there were reports that The Rock and Mark Wahlberg would be getting sued for the TV show“Ballers. Screenwriters Everette Silas and Sherri Littleton claimed that Ballers stole from their 2007 show, Show Off.

The writers even went as far to claim that they pitched the ideas to The Rock and Mark Wahlberg themselves. It recent broke news that the suit is for a total of $200 million. The screenwriters created a list of similarities to the show that they claim was their ideas.

The show Show Off never actually aired on television though and an HBO rep said that the suit has “no merit.” The Great One's second season of Ballers is set to air over the Summer.
