The Rock (Somehow) Gets Into Twitter Spat With Lacey Evans

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Lacey Evans became involved in a mini Twitter spat this weekend after the female WWE performer decided to take a shot at the legend.

Johnson returned to SmackDown earlier this month, kicking the Fox premiere special off alongside Becky Lynch, with the pair beating up on Baron Corbin. Lynch and The Rock look like they'd make a great team, but it appears that Evans has no such ambitions as she took to social media to insult him.

Evans posted a video of herself replacing a photo of the Rock with her own.

The Hollywood star took exception to the tweet and responded in a way only The Rock can, voicing a very strange concern.

"Look Tracey, Stacey, whatever.. if you’re gonna picture hack me, at least get an image of your bad ass self covering my entire body as to not leave my cheat meal enhanced midriff exposed," he wrote.

Evans proceeded to let Johnson know what her name is, urging him to learn it and adding that she has more charisma in her pinky finger than the whole WWE.

"It's LACEY EVANS......learn the name ya nasty," she retorted. "I've got more charisma in my bad ass pinky finger than this entire company you left behind. You can #ThankMe later for picking up where you left off."

It appears that Lacey has made it a thing to disrespect WWE legends on Twitter, with The Rock only the latest. But Alundra Blayze, who was a victim of a spat herself, has revealed that it's all good in the background.

“Lacey and I were having fun in DMs on the backside," she explained on the WINCLY podcast. "What’s really nice is you’re gonna get very respectful people talking on the DMs saying, ‘Hey are you good with this’ before you put it out. I’m sure there’s a lot of that on the other side with WWE because they would not let that happen."

Sanctioned Disrespect

It's very likely The Rock and Lacey discussed this before getting into it on Twitter but it's pretty entertaining anyhow.

We're not sure if we've seen the last of this or if there will be more. Of course, Lacey's not bringing Johnson back from retirement, but we'll take whatever we can get.
