The Rock's Cousin Lina Fanene Makes Her NXT Debut

The Rock's rich wrestling family has added another member to the WWE family, as his cousin Lina Fanene recently made her NXT debut. Lina, from the famous Anoa'i family signed a NXT developmental contract with the WWE earlier this year at the age of 32. She has a background in college basketball.

How is she related to The Rock? Her uncle was High Chief Peter Maivia, The Rock's late maternal grandfather and a WWE Hall of Famer.

She teamed up with Dana Brooke and Devin Taylor in her debut on May 9th at a live event. The group lost to Bayley, Alexa Bliss and Carmella.

Obviously her family pedigree is going to get her noticed, and just her standing in the ring emits a certain presence. Her family pedigree will also raise standards for her. Let's hope she's a star in the making for the Divas division.
