The Undertaker hasn't wrestled since last year's Extreme Rules pay-per-view, but a recent development has some wondering if he could be wrestling again.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com, The Deadman was at the WWE Performance Center on Thursday in Orlando, Florida. It was noted by Johnson that he wasn't in the ring, instead offering comments to the NXT talents following last night's show.

Whether or not he wound up training in any fashion at the Performance Center is unclear. The Royal Rumble pay-per-view is now just 10 days away, and perhaps we'll see the Undertaker as a surprise entry in the 30-man showdown.

It's important to note that just because a superstar is at WWE's Performance Center, it doesn't necessarily mean that they're about to return. But Undertaker remains a huge money draw in WWE, so fans will naturally grow excited any time there's a minor hint like this that suggests he could return soon.

There have been ongoing rumors about Undertaker possibly retiring for several years now, but The Phenom is still going strong.

Even if Undertaker doesn't compete at the Royal Rumble, there's good reason to believe that he'll be present at WrestleMania 36. The future Hall of Famer almost always appears at the big show, although he wasn't on the card last year.

Before his tag team match with Roman Reigns at Extreme Rules -- where they defeated Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre -- Undertaker defeated Goldberg at the Super ShowDown. We continue to anxiously await the next match in his illustrious career.

What's Next For The Undertaker?

You never know when The Undertaker will make a return. He always catches us by surprise, after all. But it's reasonable to think that we'll see him at either Royal Rumble and/or WrestleMania, since both are among WWE's premier pay-per-view events. He only has so many matches left in his career, and it'd be a major surprise if WWE didn't place him on the WrestleMania card for a second straight year.
