Titus O'Neil has weighed in on the recent controversy involving NXT star Jordan Myles and WWE.

The wrestler was not best pleased after the promotion designed a t-shirt bearing his name which he perceived to be racially offensive. To be fair to him, it is - and it's shocking no one thought the better of getting such a product on the market before it actually got there.

It all started with a tweet that prompted a response from WWE, but things appear to be spiraling out of control as Myles is refusing to let up on what he feels is an attack on his skin color.

O'Neil is a respected voice in WWE and is one of the most outspoken wrestlers when it comes to racial issues. He was one of the personalities who made his feelings known after WWE let Hulk Hogan back into the fold and there were likely folks out there waiting on what he had to say regarding this latest issue.

Myles' tweets called out specific employees, as well as another promotion and one of its wrestlers - the latter has since been deleted. And, while O'Neil agrees the shirt's design was in very poor taste, he took issue with the NXT performer bringing others who have nothing to do with the matter at hand into it.

"I AM 100% in agreement that the shirt is very Distasteful," he wrote in a tweet mentioning Myles' Twitter handle. "That being said, bringing others into this to vent your frustrations or Issues THAT HAVE NOTHING to do with @WWE or the shirt is also very Distasteful. If it’s #ForTheCulture Don’t attack those in it!!"

Myles has continued with his bold statements regarding the initial issue, as well as WWE's response.

"Why should I apologize for being honest?" he posted sometime after O'Neil's tweet. "Why should I not voice my opinion and state the facts about the state of the business.

"I’m proud to be a professional wrestler and I’m even more proud to be an African American. Stand with me and stand behind me."

Has He Gone A Tad Far Now?

Titus' opinion isn't very far off the general feeling here. While many agree and have expressed empathy towards Myles, fewer are on board with all of what's gone down in the wake of the first tweet and WWE's statement as he's pointed fingers at people who were never involved in this particular incident to begin with.

Of course, WWE wouldn't dare fire him now as they'd never hear the end of the criticism, but who knows? Maybe it's what he wants.
