Fortune was one of TNA’s most successful factions from 2010 until 2012. This was Nature Boy Ric Flair’s attempt to re-create the Four Horsemen with the best of TNA originals. However, as with most factions in TNA, the company didn’t stop there and added more members, many who added little to the quality of the group.

Fortune broke up when the members eventually turned on each other. After the breakup, the members went their separate ways, with some ending up as champions in WWE and others drifting in and out of wrestling completely. While some Fortune members are now the biggest stars in wrestling today, let's take a look at where all the members are now.

10 Ric Flair

Nature Boy Ric Flair started Fortune to re-create the Four Horsemen in TNA. It was Flair who put the talent to the test and chose which members he wanted and which he didn’t. Flair's Fortune aligned with Immortal, and he ended up leaving the company at the end of 2012.

The Nature Boy was in WWE in 2021 in a storyline with Lacey Evans against his daughter Charlotte, but has since left WWE again. Flair now appears in commercials for various businesses.

9 AJ Styles

AJ Styles was the man that Flair built Fortune around. Flair started the group when Styles was the TNA World Champion. Fortune was going to be the group that protected him and the title, but before Flair solidified the group, Styles lost the title.

AJ Styles was still the major face for the group at the time. Styles has been in WWE since 2016, as a two-time world champion, three-time U.S. Champion, Intercontinental Champion, and tag team champion. He has thrived as one of WWE's biggest stars.

8 Desmond Wolfe

Before Desmond Wolfe arrived in TNA, he was a Ring of Honor World Champion for 545 days. After arriving in the company, Wolfe entered a feud with Kurt Angle and looked like an enormous star. Sadly, the Fortune angle made Wolfe look downright terrible.

Flair brought in Wolfe and then kicked him out of the group because he ended up being on a losing streak. He has since retired and now works for WWE as an announcer in NXT UK.

7 James Storm

James Storm and Bobby Roode joined Fortune as Beer Money and the two had a record-setting tag team title reign. The two held the titles five times as Beer Money, and their fifth and final reign occurred as members of Fortune.

It was also Beer Money that caused the eventual destruction of Fortune. James Storm won the world title and Bobby Roode betrayed him and won the title from him. Storm returned to TNA in 2020 and still works there to this day.

6 Bobby Roode

Bobby Roode was the world champion when Fortune broke up, because Roode turned on his Beer Money partner James Storm. Storm was the TNA World Champion and Roode wanted the title and held it two times before leaving the company.

Roode went to NXT and became a champion there before moving up to the main roster. As of 2021, Bobby Roode was still in WWE as a multi-time champion. He ended up in a tag team with Dolph Ziggler, forming the Dirty Dogs.

5 Frankie Kazarian

Frankie Kazarian was also an original member of Fortune, considered by Ric Flair to be the Barry Windham of the faction. He and AJ Styles weren’t getting along when the faction formed, but Flair convinced them to get along for the greater good.

Kazarian was the X-Division Champion when the group started, and formed Bad Influence with Christopher Daniels when Fortune broke up. Kazarian works for AEW now and just finished his long-standing tag team with Daniels, as two-thirds of SoCal Uncensored.

4 Matt Morgan

Ric Flair brought in Matt Morgan one month after forming Fortune as a version of Four Horsemen. Morgan was the muscle of Fortune, the faction’s version of Sid Vicious and Lex Luger. However, Morgan didn’t last because of his sympathy for the health of other wrestlers.

Fortune kicked out Morgan when he showed concern for Mr. Anderson after suffering a concussion. Morgan retired from professional wrestling in 2019. Morgan currently serves as a Longwood, Florida City Commissioner and was previously the Mayor of Longwood.

3 Douglas Williams

Doug Williams in TNA.

Doug Williams beat Frankie Kazarian for the X-Division Championship and that didn’t stop Ric Flair from bringing him into Fortune. Williams helped Flair and won favor from the faction. After losing the title, Fortune slowly turned on him.

They finally pushed him out and Williams ended up joining forces with Matt Morgan, who was also kicked out of the group. Williams retired from professional wrestling in 2018. In 2021, Williams came out of retirement and began accepting bookings once more.

2 Rob Terry

Rob Terry was the least accomplished member of Fortune, brought in just one year after making his TNA debut. Thanks to his look and size, TNA made him a quick champion when he won the TNA Global Championship. He joined Fortune as the bodyguard, but didn’t last and ended up with Immortal.

In 2014, Terry moved on and worked in the indies. Terry has since gone back to the U.K. and has a wife and two children. He is a proponent of bodybuilding.

1 Christopher Daniels

Christopher Daniels was in Ring of Honor when Fortune first formed, although he could have been a perfect member when the group started. When Daniels returned to TNA, he joined Fortune to help his friend AJ Styles, who Immortal took out and injured.

However, Christopher Daniels was one of the first to sow the seeds of discontent in Fortune when he turned on Styles. Daniels is now in AEW, although his wrestling career is in question as he moves into more of a behind-the-scenes role.
