The inaugural Final Resolution PPV took place on January 16, 2005, and was successful. Impact Wrestling produced an annual edition of Final Resolution until 2012. However, in 2020, there was another edition of Final Resolution. Although unfortunately, it did not have the success of its predecessors, and apparently, that will be the last Final Resolution PPV.

So, there were in total 10 editions of Final Resolution, some were excellent PPVs, while others could have been better. The fans witnessed some amazing matches and moments that still live in their memories. Without further ado, below is every TNA/Impact Wrestling Final Resolution PPV, ranked from worst to best.

10 Final Resolution 2020

Ashley Vox & Delmi Exo vs. Havok & Nevaeh

Despite having a great main event (Rich Swann vs. Chris Bey), this PPV left a lot to be desired. The opening match between Tommy Dreamer and Larry D was disappointing, Hernandez and Fallah Bahh failed, and Havok and Nevaeh defeated Team Sea Stars (Ashley Vox and Delmi Exo) in a terrible match. The Impact Knockouts Title match between Deonna Purrazzo and Rosemary was average, the match between Karl Anderson and Ethan Page was bad, and Eric Young defeated Rhino in a decent contest. This has to be the worst Final Resolution PPV of all time.

9 Final Resolution 2012

Final Resolution 2012

Final Resolution 2012 was a lackluster PPV, featuring eight matches, and just three of them were worth watching, Austin Aries versus Bully Ray, the main event between Jeff Hardy and Bobby Roode, and the best match of the night, Christopher Daniels versus AJ Styles. The rest of the PPV was mediocre, with a disappointing TNA Women's Knockout Title match between Tara (known as Victoria in WWE) and Mickie James and an average match between James Storm and Kazarian. This PPV felt basic and predictable, it needed better storylines and more drama.

8 Final Resolution 2007

Samoa Joe vs Kurt Angle

This PPV had a very interesting match card, although perhaps it didn't live up to expectations. The opening match between AJ Styles and Rhino was disappointing. It wasn't a bad match, but it definitely didn't live up to expectations.

James Storm and Petey Williams barely had six minutes, so they couldn't tell a satisfying story. Kurt Angle and Samoa Joe delivered a good 30-minute Iron Man match, but it wasn't the banger that was expected. The main event between Christian Cage, Sting, and Abyss was entertaining but nothing memorable.

7 Final Resolution 2011

AJ Styles vs Bobby Roode

Final Resolution 2011 was a good PPV overall, although it had several flaws that may have made fans forget it. Most of the matches were solid, but nothing special. The best match of the night was the main event, a 30-minute Iron Man match between AJ Styles and Bobby Roode, which was tied 3-3. James Storm defeated Kurt Angle in a good match, Gail Kim defeated Mickie James after an enjoyable battle, and the Steel Cage match between Jeff Hardy and Jeff Jarrett was satisfactory.

6 Final Resolution 2008 (December)

Final Resolution 2008

In 2008 there were two editions of Final Resolution PPV, one in January and one in December. The December edition was not as good as the January edition, although it was not a bad PPV by any means. The card consisted of seven matches, none of which were outstanding, but none of which were terrible either. There were two standout matches, Kurt Angle vs. Rhino, and the main event, which featured the Main Event Mafia taking on The Front Line.

5 Final Resolution 2010

AJ Styles vs Doug Williams TNA Final Resolution 2010

Final Resolution 2010 was a good PPV, with solid matches and good booking decisions, but nothing memorable. AJ Styles and Douglas Williams delivered the best match of the PPV, an excellent bout.

The Motor City Machine Guns defeated Generation Me in a great Full Metal Mayhem match to retain the World Tag Team Titles. The match between Rob Van Dam and Rhino was pretty good. A pay-per-view is supposed to close strong, but that wasn't the case here, as the last two matches didn't live up to expectations

4 Final Resolution 2006

Christian Cage Final Resolution 2006

This was a pretty entertaining PPV from start to finish. The opener was a good six-man tag team match, in which Alex Shelley, Austin Aries, and Roderick Strong defeated Chris Sabin, Matt Bentley, and Sonjay Dutt. AJ Styles and Hiroshi Tanahashi delivered a good match – it should have been better, though -. Samoa Joe defeated Christopher Daniels in a fantastic X-Division Title match, and the main event was good, Christian Cage and Sting defeated Jeff Jarrett and Monty Brown.

3 Final Resolution 2008 (January)

Final Resolution 2008 january

This was the January edition of Final Resolution 2008, a very good PPV, which had a couple of awesome matches. Gail Kim and Awesome Kong delivered one of the best women's matches in Impact Wrestling history, and Kurt Angle and Christian Cage did an excellent job in the main event. The rest of the PPV was solid and quite enjoyable.

2 Final Resolution 2009

Final Resolution 2009

Final Resolution 2009 was an excellent PPV, with a fun-to-watch opener between The British Invasion and The Motor City Machine Guns and a phenomenal main event, the World Heavyweight Title match between AJ Styles and Daniels. There was also a Three Degrees Of Pain match between Kurt Angle and Desmond Wolfe, which was awesome. The rest of the matches were average, with a couple of great moments.

1 Final Resolution 2005

Ultimate x match TNA Final Resolution 2005

The best Final Resolution PPV was the inaugural one in 2005. This PPV had an excellent match card. The first half of the PPV consisted of short but solid and entertaining matches. The second half had a couple of outstanding matches. America's Most Wanted (Chris Harris and James Storm) defeated Team Canada (Bobby Roode and Eric Young) in a tremendous match to become NWA World Tag Team Champions. Immediately after, AJ Styles prevailed in an insane Ultimate X match against Chris Sabin and Petey Williams. That has to be one of the best matches in Impact Wrestling history.
