CM Punk is one of the most successful wrestlers of all-time. His 434 day reign as WWE Champion from November 20th, 2011 to January 27th, 2013 stands as the sixth longest in history and the longest in the modern era. On top of that, he’s won the Ring of Honor Championship, the Extreme Champion Wrestling Championship, the World Tag Team Championship, the Intercontinental Championship, and the WWE World Heavyweight Championship three times.
But it wasn’t always smooth sailing for Punk, who was born Phil Brooks. Before making it big in the WWE, he was just a backyard wrestler in the Lunatic Wrestling Federation in Illinois, fighting with his friends and brother, Mike. From there, he enrolled in wrestling school and met future WWE wrestler Colt Cabana. The two became best friends and often fought together on the independent circuits. Finally, after working for ROH and TNA, Punk was signed to WWE in 2005 and the rest is history.
Punk recently retired from wrestling to try his hand at mixed martial arts. In 2014, at the age of 36, he signed a multi-fight contract with the UFC. According to Dana White, Punk could make his mixed martial arts debut at UFC 199 fighting against Mickey Gall, who’s 2-0. Even though he’s 36 years old and has no prior fight experience outside of wrestling, Punk, who has trained in kempo and Brazilian jiu-jitsu, insists on being taken seriously. And staying true to his wrestling roots, he said that he would stick with his wrestling moniker and fight as CM Punk.
Before settling down with WWE Diva AJ Lee, Punk was quite the womanizer—particularly at the beginning of his career, when he was toiling around in the independent circuits. At one point or another, he seemed to be romantically linked to just about every female wrestler.
Here’s the list of the top 11 hottest women CM Punk has hooked up with.
11 Felice Herrig
Felice Herrig just loves attention...ask her, she'll tell you. She is the queen of "the selfie" and her social media accounts are filled with scantily clad pictures of herself (not that there's anything wrong with that).
Herrig is actually not a professional wrestler or Diva, as she is a mixed martial artist, currently signed with the UFC. On the MMA Roasted podcast, comedian (and self-proclaimed sleaze-ball) Adam Hunter asked Herrig if she had been hooking up with Punk, and she did not deny it. She also did not seem to have any animosity towards him.
10 Kelly Kelly
Barbara Jean “Barbie” Blank, otherwise known as Kelly Kelly in WWE, is a former professional WWE wrestler. Born in Jacksonville, Florida, Kelly Kelly, the woman so nice they named her twice, signed with the WWE when she was just a teenager, making her debut in the ECW in 2006. She quickly made a name for herself with her sexy wrestling persona, performing raunchy stripteases for the crowd.
She started working with Punk at the beginning of her career. Part of their storyline together was that she liked him, much to the chagrin of her then boyfriend Mike Knox and she's been linked to CM Punk. Kelly has since married former Montreal Canadiens defenseman Sheldon Souray.
Shannon Claire Spruill (best known as Daffney) is most famous for her time in the World Championship Wrestling in the late ‘90s and early 2000s. She also worked as a TNA Knockout in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling and is currently a member of Shine Wrestling. She’s adopted a number of diverse personas throughout her career—including Daffney, Shark Girl, Lucy, Shannon, and Draculetta—but perhaps none were more memorable than the time she played “The Governor,” a play on of Alaska governor Sarah Palin, who was campaigning to be Vice President of the United States at the time.
Daffney is a bit of a serial wrestler dater, along with CM Punk who she dated briefly, as she’s been romantically linked to Shannon Moore and Stevie Richards. She was also briefly married to Rich Ward, a bandmate of wrestler Chris Jericho.
8 Allison Danger
Canadian wrestler Cathy Corino, otherwise known as Allison Danger, has spent time in Ring of Honor and Shimmer. She was first introduced to the world of professional wrestling by her brother, Steve Corino, a veteran of the wrestling world who was working for Extreme Champion Wrestling at the time.
Punk and Danger spent time together on the independent circuit and she’s one of the many women who he’s believed to have hooked up with at the beginning of his career. Punk also helped train Danger.
7 Traci Brooks
Long before she was a wrestler, Traci Brooks (born Tracy Brookshaw) said that she was going to be a wrestling star. She started as a model, being named Miss June in the Toronto Sun’s Sunshine Girl Calendar. From there, she was introduced to fellow Canadian wrestler Ron Hutchinson, who helped to train her. After working the independent circuit for a while, she was signed by Total Nonstop Action wrestling and made her professional debut in 2003 with a Catholic schoolgirl persona. You can see Traci in all her glory in a 2009 photo shoot for Playboy, making her the first woman from TNA to pose for the magazine.
Before marrying wrestler Frankie Kazarian, she dated CM Punk for a brief period while he was wrestling for The Gathering in TNA.
6 Beth Phoenix
Before retiring from professional wrestling in 2012, Beth Phoenix (Elizabeth Kocianski) was a mainstay in the WWE from the mid 2000s to the early 2010s. She was known for being not only beautiful but tough, as well. She started wrestling in high school and was the first female varsity wrestler ever at her school. She won a number of competitions, including the New York State Fair and the North-East freestyle championship.
In the past, Punk hasn’t been very vocal about his relationships, preferring to keep his private life just that. But when it comes to Phoenix, he’s been unable to bite his tongue. During a radio interview, he called her a “douche bag” and a “flake.”
5 Becky Bayless
Rebecca Treston, otherwise known as Cookie or Becky Bayless, has worked for Ring of Honor, Full Impact Pro, and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling. Before branching out on her own, she worked primarily as a valet for guys like Jimmy Jacobs. She is currently working for independent wrestling promotions, as she struggled to break out of her unfortunate Jersey Shore persona from 2010.
Like most of his relationships, CM Punk has never publicly admitted to dating Bayless, but rumors have long suggested that the two were an item at one point.
4 Mickie James
Like others, Mickie James started her wrestling career in the independent circuit. At the time, she was known as Alexis Laree. She then made a name for herself in TNA, joining The Gathering with CM Punk. She is best known for her time working with WWE star Trish Stratus and he would go on to win the Women’s Championship at WrestleMania a total of five times.
Even though CM Punk and James were believed to be an item, apparently not everyone thought that they were a good couple. In an interview, James said that she was supposed to debut in the WWE with Punk, but their match was stopped at the last minute because WWE didn’t think they worked well together.
3 Maria Kanellis
Maria Kanellis (ring name simply Maria) is a wrestler and valet currently working with TNA. Before that, she spent time in World Wrestling Entertainment after competing in the RAW Diva Search (she came in fifth place but was signed to the WWE anyway). She started off as a backstage interviewer in 2004 but was promoted to a wrestler the next year.
Maria began dating CM Punk shortly after joining the WWE and the two stayed together for roughly two years. She then began dating fellow wrestler Michael Bennett, to whom she is now married.
2 AJ Lee
April Jeanette Brooks (aka AJ Lee), who recently retired from the ring, was one of the biggest female wrestlers in the WWE. Like her husband, she was a highly successful wrestler, with a number of awards and records. She's tied for the record for most Divas Championship wins with three and was named Woman of the Year by Pro Wrestling Illustrated for three straight years.
Punk and Lee got married in 2014. She regularly performed with him on WWE, like the time she helped him beat Kane at the WWE Championship. Blending fact with fiction, Lee’s in-ring character had a thing for Punk and even proposed to him during an event, which he rejected.
Amy Dumas (aka Lita) is one of the biggest names in World Wrestling Entertainment history. After a long and successful career, spanning from 2000 to 2006, she was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2014.
Her most high profile wrestling relationship was with Matt Hardy, whom she started dating in 1999. The two broke up in 2005 when he discovered that she had been cheating on him for months with Adam “Edge” Copeland. Punk and Lita are believed to have dated on two separate occasions: in 2009 and later in 2013.
