Sometimes you just need to go out and have a drink. You know, let off some steam, take away the tension, and have some fun after a hard day at work. For those that can legally drink, we all get a little thirsty now and then and the local bar is a welcome sight. The same goes for wrestlers. Getting beat to a pulp for most of the week can take a toll on the body. Add in the stress of traveling non-stop and the pressure to perform in front of thousands of people. So, do you blame them for wanting to let loose? We sure don’t, but we love to see some photos if they do.

It’s in our culture to take photos while intoxicated, just look at Instagram and Facebook. So, it’s no surprise that we’re intrigued by our favorite superstars having a few drinks also. There are countless stories of wrestlers inebriated, drunk, tipsy, or a downright mess, but once in a while you see the pictures to prove it.

So, we welcome you to 15 awesome images of wrestlers partying. We combed through the internet, searching for images of wrestlers partying from the past and present. You may have seen some of these photos before, but we truly doubt you’ve seen them all. Even if you have, take a stroll with us and let’s have a good time observing each photo.

15 15. NXT

They’re the crown jewel of the NXT brand. The feud between NXT’s Champion, Samoa Joe, and the former champion, Finn Balor, has played out masterfully over the year. Both bring their A-game every night and both deserve a hard earned drink for what they’ve done for the company. What better drink to have than a nice cold Guinness after a hard day of work? Look at Balor’s smile, like a kid on Christmas, meanwhile, Joe seems like he wants to finish his drink and not take the photo. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for both stars in the WWE.

14 14. Paige and Josh

In the picture you can find WWE’s Tough Enough Challenge winner Josh Bredl and women’s competitor, Paige, making a toast. It's no surprise that Paige is getting her drinking game on in this picture. If you follow her on Instagram, you can see a few more images of her having some fun. After Bredl’s comments about certain stars being terrible because they’re considered “jobbers,” we wonder if Bredl considered Paige a jobber because she doesn’t win matches anymore as well. By the way, what’s with all the females sticking their tongues out?

13 13. New Year's Eve

If you had to pick one night of the year (not counting your birthday) to engage in a little bit of debauchery and a pint of mischief, New Year’s Eve is the night for it. The Bella Twins are looking like they’re ready to have a night out on the town. This photo was taken on New Year’s Eve 2014, and we could be wrong, but it looks like those bottles of Domaine Carneros Champagne might be too much for the girls to handle. With Nikki popping up in a bunch of party photos, she might be able to handle it, but the sweet angel that her sister is, Brie sure looks like she’s in for a rough night. That's until "Brie Mode" fully engages, of course.

12 12. Selfie Time

Who knows how many drinks Sheamus, Heath Slater, Nikki Bella, and Ted Dibiase Jr. had before it was time to start the selfie pic parade. Much respect for Sheamus wearing the flat cap, but it looks like he was undecided on what kind of facial expression to make. Meanwhile, Slater knows what’s up and rolls with the tongue as a trademark pose. Both Nikki and Ted seem more cordial in their postures but we wonder if it stayed that way towards the end of the night. Judging from Nikki’s glass, it looks like it was a time for some of the harder drinks known to mankind and not your average beer on tap kind of night.

11 11. Velvet Sky

Velvet Sky had bounced around the indie scene for a few years before she made a home for herself at TNA. She has the looks and experience to be a respectable wrestler in the business. We doubt WWE would hire her if they saw this photo though. The place looks like a sausage factory with all the fellas surrounding Velvet. What makes it worse is the fact that she’s got her butt sticking out and a few drunks are having a fun time taking advantage of the situation. We guarantee that her boyfriend, WWE’s Bubba Ray Dudley, would destroy those guys if he saw them today.... especially Shane Helms who looks like he's having a little too much fun.

10 10. The Eighth Wonder of the World

Not only is he a wrestling legend, Andre the Giant was also known as a legend at the bar. As the Eighth Wonder of the World, he would need a lot of alcohol to get drunk and we mean a lot. He allegedly drank 119 beers in six hours and 16 bottles of wine in four hours. Not one wrestler has ever said they could out-drink the 500 pounder. Just look at how happy he is in the photo, he knows those beers are going to be filling up his belly very soon. As a bar keep, you knew it was going to be a great night when Andre the Giant walked into your establishment.

9 9. It Takes Four to Tango

Nikki Bella pops up once again, drinking with former members of the WWE, Matt Hardy, CM Punk, and Eve Torres. Who knows what they’re sipping on but it probably did the job. Kudos to Punk for doing Punk things, as while everyone smiles, he does the exact opposite. Hardy is the party guy we all thought he was, not having just one drink but two in one hand, impressive. As a fan of pure wrestling, it’s amazing Nikki is the last one left working for the WWE out of the four.

8 8. An Angel and Superhero Walk Into a Bar

Stand back, there’s a hurricane coming to drink. That’s TNA and Indie legend Christopher Daniels partaking in drinking some delicious liquor with former WWE wrestler Hurricane Helms. While Daniels is looking like he is taking pride in what he’s bringing to the party, Helms seems to be already half way with his tequila. The way Helms would take a chokeslam by The Undertaker, we would be drinking half a bottle of tequila before we knew it too.

7 7. Legends Night Out

This nostalgic photo has some of the greatest legends in the WWE partaking in a few drinks at some bar. The Undertaker, Bret and Owen Hart, and Yokuzuna are just some of the faces in the picture. You know it’s the 90s when a child asks their parent what’s that box shaped thing hanging on the wall in the background. Props to the late Paul Bearer raising his glass the highest. There’s so much great talent in that room, we’re sure they had a great night of partying as well.

6 6. The Freebirds

You can’t talk about the history of wrestling, especially in Texas, if you don’t mention the newest members of the WWE’s Hall of Fame, The Fabulous Freebirds. The photo shows Terry Gordon and Michael Hayes drinking the very popular Jack Daniels. From what they said during their Hall of Fame speech, you know these guys liked to party. We’re sure one bottle wouldn’t be able to satisfy the thirst of these two individuals. You can also make out the Confederate Flag on Hayes’ tee shirt. The symbol has become an issue of racism over the last few years but Vince McMahon would like to convince you they aren’t racists because New Day inducted them into the Hall of Fame.

5 5. The People's Champion

Hey Rock, what are you drin…… It doesn’t matter what I’m drinking, know your role and shut your mouth! Another New Year’s Eve photo shows The Rock guzzling down some Cristal straight from the bottle. Now that’s how you kick off New Year’s Eve. We know The Rock loves cherry pie and pineapples, but Cristal as well? Now, that’s an excellent diet. What also makes the photo hilarious is he’s drinking with a cardboard version of himself. At least we know The Brahma Bull wasn’t alone for the night.

4 4. Evolution

Woooooooooooooooo! That’s right, it’s your guy, "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair, partying with The Animal, Dave Batista. Everyone knows Flair can be a party animal, so it’s no surprise to see him enjoying himself with his good friend and former tag team partner. We guarantee the styling, profiling, limousine riding, jet flying, kiss-stealing, wheeling ‘n' dealing son of a gun out drank Batista that night. What we would give to have a few drinks with Flair. The stories he tells while drinking must be epic. Batista smoking on a cigar while having a drink is pretty bad ass as well. Wooooooooooooooooooo!

3 3. The Early 90s

WWE’s Rick Martel, Shawn Michaels , and Kerry Von Erich (Texas Tornado) pose for the camera while having more than a few drinks. Photos like this give the fans who love the history of the industry goosebumps. We’re judging the photo was taken in the early 90s when Von Erich worked for the WWE. While Martel is putting on a fierce headlock to an unknown individual, Kerry and Michaels look like they can drink a few more rounds. Unfortunately, this photo also reminds us how tragic life can be, as after dealing with depression, drug and alcohol abuse, Von Erich would take his own life in ’93.

2 2. The Wrestling Mafia Have a Meeting

Probably the most iconic partying photo to ever grace the internet, this image is symbolic of what the atmosphere was like backstage in the WWE. It was taken before Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, and Sean “X-Pac” Waltman left for WCW. You have both The Kliq and Bone Street Krew members tossing a few back together. Add in Stone Cold Steve Austin and a cigar smoking Gerald Briscoe and this photo screams pure greatness. Once again, Paul Bearer looks like he’s enjoying himself thoroughly. Is it just us or does The Undertaker look like the leader of some criminal organization?

1 1. Attitude Era

If you watched The Godfather’s 2016 WWE Hall of Fame speech and didn’t believe he was the exact same guy that his character was, well here’s the proof. Yes, that’s Viscera (King Mable), Rikishi, and The Godfather having some fun with a fan. Check out all the bottles and glasses on the table, you know this was a night for partying. Also, Ron Simmons just nonchalantly going on with a conversation while a woman is half naked behind him speaks volumes on how normal this must have been during The Attitude Era.
