Life in the world of sports entertainment is, as we all know, dominated by one specific company, and has been for decades. Outside of the relatively brief surge from the now defunct World Championship Wrestling, Vince McMahon’s World Wrestling Entertainment has been the alpha dog. So it just makes sense then, when someone is compiling a list of hot women in wrestling, that the women from WWE are thought of first. And many times, other groups are overlooked. It also kind of makes a difference when you consider that, in many instances, women who’ve worked in one company have probably made their way through all the others, too.
But what about TNA? Now, while the name sounds a bit naughty (and probably at least partially intentional), it has had it’s own share of absolutely gorgeous women too. I mean, let us be realistic: they call their women Knockouts, and that is actually a pretty accurate assessment of their looks as well as their capabilities, in my own humble opinion. So what’s the point here? Simple, really. The point is that too often, Total Nonstop Action and its bevy of beauties has been overlooked or under-represented in these “hot” lists, and that needs to be rectified. And, at the same time, my own horizons get to be broadened, too. I’ll admit, I spend far too much time watching WWE programming, and have for a while.
As I’ve gotten older, and as wrestling has moved on without a clear and strong second best federation, I’ve been very myopic. But the honest truth is that, if you give the gorgeous ladies of TNA a chance, you might find that they are worth more than just a passing glance, and that they all stack up quite well with the competition from the big, bad WWE women. And, to make sure I am completely fair, some on this list are not currently active with the company, while plenty on the list are. Regardless, I am sure they will measure up. So, let’s see just why these ladies are knockouts!
15 Jenna Morasca
Maybe you will see this name and scream at your screen, wondering how on Earth I could possibly put Jenna on this list at all. Allow me to explain. She is, undoubtedly, one of the hottest women to ever try to work in wrestling. Try, admittedly, is the operative word here. By many accounts, she has given us some of the worst wrestling action anyone has ever attempted, which would explain why her career was so ridiculously brief. But here’s the head-scratcher for me: if you have a woman who wants to stick around, and is clearly eye candy, but not capable of putting an actual match together…why make her a wrestler? Valets get on TV too, and that would have been a perfectly excellent career choice for Jenna.
14 Maria Kanellis
Yes, she is smoking hot. Probably hot enough that she should be higher on this list, but I have an explanation for this spot, so hear me out. For one thing, this list is fifteen women long, and when you get right down to it, TNA had and has some amazingly hot women. Like, seriously. I mean, fine, maybe some of them are more hot than talented, while WWE has clearly emphasized wrestling more than sex appeal (but wants both), I guess TNA is willing to go for the appeal, and merely hope the women are competent, or can be trained up. Maria does not need to be trained up, of course, having learned her trade while she spent years working for WWE. I’ve honestly placed her at this spot if only because she’s done so much more outside of TNA, but regardless… oh my God is she hot.
13 Brooke Hogan
Brooke began to catch my eye when Hulk Hogan had his short-lived reality series Hogan Knows Best. Yes, I fully admit, I actually watched a season or two of it. Don’t judge me, it was a long time ago and I was traveling a lot and had a lot of time to kill. That being said, she was always a stunner and she warrants inclusion on this list. I think fans of the overall TNA product are probably pretty happy that her stay with the company was actually really short, because she did come off as someone who could really annoy you with her voice and antics, but seriously, isn’t that why we’ve got mute buttons? As they say, some should be seen and not heard, and I am sure plenty of folks loved to see Brooke.
12 Lacey Von Erich
As legendary as her wrestling family is, her amazing beauty only enhanced that legendary status. Not only could the Von Erichs produce world class wrestlers, but also world class beauties. Lacey’s time was short in Total Nonstop Action (and wrestling in general), but you have to be happy with the time we got to watch her. Fortunately, given her family’s tragic wrestling history, her exit was of her own choosing, rather than succumbing to the demons that destroyed so much of her family. She was influential for the duration of her time within the company, so she was able to prove that she was not merely a pretty face (and all the rest of her assets, too). I think just about anyone would happily agree, she’s hot enough to be on this list.
11 Mickie James
Mickie James is a woman who you could actually say she flew under the radar for a lot of her career. OK, maybe that seems like a bit of a stretch, considering how successful she has been wherever she goes. But, when you think of amazing women who have wrestled in the last ten years, I can’t say that her name would be on the tip of anyone’s tongue, and that is honestly a shame. Mickie James could, honestly, be one of the most criminally under-rated women in the last couple decades. And, to go along with that incredible in-ring talent? Deceptively stunning beauty. Let’s be honest, she is incredibly gorgeous, and very easy on the eyes. The only dispute I expect to hear on this one is that she’s not high enough.
10 Brandi Rhodes
Another spot, another stunner. Seriously folks, complain all you want about Brandi “only” being tenth on the list, but the competition for every single spot on this list has been intense. I mean, seriously, when you see everyone who is on the list, and realize some of the ones who didn’t make the cut, I have a feeling you’ll understand. As for my reasoning for having Brandi “only” tenth? Honestly, it’s because of just how long she hasn’t been a part of the Total Nonstop Action family. She and her husband came over in 2016. I have a feeling she (and her husband) will be sorely missed by WWE, but their loss is TNA’s gain. And, of course, wrestling fans. If I run this list in 2018, I’d venture a guess that she’d be a lot higher.
9 Christy Hemme
Surely you have to have noticed at least one theme amongst these women (and among Total Nonstop Action talent overall): Christy is a castoff from World Wrestling Entertainment. When she was unceremoniously dropped from the WWE roster and found her way to TNA, I’d bet that a lot of followers of sports entertainment didn’t expect much from Hemme. They probably figured she’d fail there too, and that would be the end of things. But, as we now know, that couldn’t be further from the truth. Hemme has put together one very impressive career for TNA, making herself out to be one of, if not the best, Knockouts the company has ever had. And yes, she did it all while also being ridiculously easy on the eyes.
8 Gail Kim
OK, now this one is just crazy, right? I know, I know, the eighth spot for Gail Kim might be criminal. But the only way I could have resolved this? Quite possibly to have like an eight way tie for first spot, which is just insane. And yes, Gail Kim was once an exceptional talent for World Wrestling Entertainment, but the truth is she is someone who has done so much better and so much more in her career when she has had the chance to work for Total Nonstop Action. I couldn’t say if it’s because she has more control over her matches and her creative direction, or if the folks over in Nashville have a better idea of how to put her to use, but the results for this stunner are unmistakable.
7 Madison Rayne
This entrant on the list, as well as our number six entrant, could basically be considered interchangeable. Why is that? Because when they were both in Total Nonstop Action, they were one heck of a power couple, though they weren’t really a couple. They were, however, two thirds of a very successful heel stable known as The Beautiful People. I say interchangeable because, really, part of the rankings is incredibly subjective. What or who I find attractive can and will differ from others, and this is no exception. I mean, seriously, as I look over the top seven (and really, the entire list), if I were to work this up a week from now, or a month from now, I could have the same fifteen women, in an entirely different order. The one thing all this tells me? TNA has done an amazing job of employing some really hot talents. Madison Rayne is no exception.
6 Velvet Sky
And just like that, here’s another member of The Beautiful People. As I said with stablemate Madison Rayne’s inclusion at number seven, these two are basically interchangeable. Someone might favor Rayne versus Sky, or vice versa. I will not and can not fault you for a personal choice. The best thing about someone like Velvet, or Madison, or the other thirteen entries? For the most part, they all brought a combination of beauty and athleticism into the TNA ring, and while they may never reach the level of fame of a WWE woman, they deserve similar accolades. And that is perhaps one of the biggest reasons for this list. I mean, sure, WWE has some amazing talents working on it’s brands, but the more I’ve learned about the women of TNA, the more I am in awe of their talents, beauty and the depth of the division, past and present.
5 SoCal Val
Here is someone who I had seen sporadically over the years, whenever I was flipping channels or checking in on recaps. But I confess, until I was putting this together, I had not realized just how amazingly hot she was and is. I mean, seriously. She’s performed a great many roles in her time for Total Nonstop Action, sometimes in the ring, sometimes as a valet. And, for what it’s worth, as smoking hot as she is, does anyone reading this even care what she did that had her involved? Or, as stunning as she is, is anyone even reading these words? Or are you just gazing at her mesmerizing photo? It’s OK, I understand. I’d do the same thing if I were in your seat.
4 Reby Sky (Hardy)
Yet another submission on this list who could easily have won the argument for the top spot. She’s beautiful. She’s married to one of the company’s top stars. She’s been a dancer, an actor, a Playboy model and a wrestler, just to name a few. When you look over what she’s done, what mainstream accolades she has had bestowed upon her (looking at you, Howard Stern), it is almost amazing that she was never swooped up by big bad Vince McMahon and World Wrestling Entertainment talent scouts. However, as mentioned before, she does have that Playboy spread that, in this new, more family friendly offering, does not play great with WWE. That, and like I said, she is Mrs. Matt Hardy, so about the only way I’d see her really getting her richly deserved bigger stage is if TNA completely busted (not out of the question) or if WWE finally brought her husband back to the fold. But, for now, we enjoy her awesomeness in TNA.
3 Brooke Tessmacher
Her resume of extreme sexiness is undeniable, folks. Before she ever graced a wrestling ring, Brooke was a veteran of such prominent events as the Miss Hawaiian Tropic pageant, and while she was at it she competed for the right to be called Miss Hooters (I’ll admit it-I didn’t even know that was a thing). She, like several others, really broke in with WWE, thanks in part to their own competition, the 2006 Diva Search. But, while we can thank WWE for sort of bringing her into the sports entertainment world, we can thank TNA for really putting her on the map. She was marketable, a face (and more) that we were thrilled to see regularly. And when she put it all together and showed she was so much more than just a pretty face? That is what enabled her to be such a lasting star in the TNA Knockouts division.
Here’s where that subjectivity comes into play. Anyone reading this over may see Allie ranked up here and think I’ve lost my mind, or that any of the other women behind her should be here. And, honestly, I wouldn’t really put up a tremendous fight, because as I’ve said over and over, everyone on this list is an amazing specimen, whether as a wrestler or a valet or both. So, Allie could just as easily be the fifteenth woman on this list as she could be the second, which quite honestly is where I happily ranked her. She has a certain appeal that I couldn’t quite put my finger on, but as I sized everyone up, here just felt like the right landing spot for her.
With all the bigger and more established names already showing up on this list, you all knew that there’d be a new name at number one. I suppose the question now that I am asking is… what do you think of this top ranking? As with all my other rankings, I would not flip out if you felt that someone else was more deserving of the top spot, because as I’ve said over and over again, just about any woman on this list could have easily come in first (or fifteenth). Call me crazy, but when I really started looking over the work of Sienna, I was captivated. I won’t say it was love at first sight - that’s not what this list was about. But I will say that, from just about the first moment I laid eyes on her, I had a feeling she was going to land very near the top, and when it was all said and done, I felt she was worthy of this honor. But, again, just about everyone on this list could be.
