The Divas Revolution has been running through the WWE universe in recent weeks with great force and extreme vigor. The girls are finally getting theirs and it's about time the company takes notice of their female talent pool. The days of searching for model-type women with no personality have seemingly come to an end and will hopefully remain as such.
Much of this female fury can be credited to Triple H and Stephanie McMahon who are said to be standing firmly behind the Divas and their recent push. The narrow perception of Vince McMahon has finally been combated with something a little less sex-driven and a lot more competition based. Women are allowed to be wrestlers again.
The three women who stand at the forefront of this movement are three NXT upstart talents: Becky Lynch, Charlotte, and Sasha Banks. While Paige remains a strong competitor, The Bella Twins continue their Bella Twin thing, Alicia Fox is background filler, and Naomi and Tamina will be outshined by the third member of Team B.A.D.
Change has come and will continue as long as WWE allows the situation to develop properly. The Monday Night Raw crowd in Brooklyn were hard on the Divas but such is the struggle. Over the course of SummerSlam weekend, Sasha Banks and Bayley blew the roof off of the same arena at NXT TakeOver. The ups and downs are inevitable but they must stay the course.
In this article we will take a look at the three women who are believed to be the future of the Divas division. However, we do maintain hope that more performers of equal caliber will find themselves thrust into the movement while also keeping a positive outlook on the existing main roster Divas and their potential unlocked abilities.

15 15. Sasha Has Entertainment in Her Blood
Obviously the biggest part of being a professional wrestler/sports entertainer is the ability to entertain the audience. The paying public who spend their hard earned dollars to watch these performers compete.
Sasha Banks certainly possess the entertainment aspect required to hold the attention of the crowd. "The Boss" cuts a bold promo, works with finesse, and walks to the ring with her own unique swagger.
Perhaps entertainment runs in her blood as Sasha Banks is the cousin of legendary hip-hop artist, Snoop Dogg - a man who definitely doesn't lack entertainment value.
14 14. Charlotte Was a Personal Trainer
Staying in shape is difficult for anybody; especially those who lead a busy lifestyle. To be a professional wrestler, one must maintain a certain level of psychical excellence - even those who appear frumpy need to keep up the cardio levels in order to within a match.
Take one look at Charlotte and it is fairly obvious that she is not out of shape. Charlotte is ripped and works hard at her health and physical well-being which shows during her matches.
Prior to becoming a professional wrestler, Charlotte worked as a psychical trainer - already possessing the proper mindset of personal wellness before making the transition to wrestler.
13 13. Becky Was an Actress
There is a whole lot more to being a professional wrestler than just being able to wrestle. Personality plays a major contributing factor to the success of an aspiring wrestler regardless of in-ring ability.
People are given a gimmick - a character to play for the live audience - and then told to make it work. This is where personality comes into play; even if the character seems off-putting or impossible to portray.
Becky Lynch has spent some time working as an actress and was cast in a number of plays during this stint. Experience with acting can be beneficial when playing a wrestling character.
12 12. Sasha Appeared at WrestleMania XXX
In the opening contest of WrestleMania XXX, a main event feel was already in the air as Triple H went one-on-one with Daniel Bryan with the winner being added to the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match later that night.
Triple H has always been one for the grand entrance on the "grandest stage" and WrestleMania XXX was no exception. The King of Kings would appear on a personalized thrown equipped with a cape and skull-faced crown before walking down the aisle.
This elaborate entrance would also include the company of three beautiful women who would help Triple H removed his cape. One of these women being Sasha Banks - who would appear for the very first time at WrestleMania.
11 11. Charlotte Has Appeared Twice at WrestleMania
In the aforementioned entry, we discussed the Triple H entrance and WrestleMania XXX and the three beautiful women who aided his great arrival. Sasha Banks was there along with Alex Bliss and Charlotte.
However, this was not the first time Charlotte made an appearance at WrestleMania. Charlotte was on hand at WrestleMania XXIV when Ric Flair placed his career on the line against Shawn Michaels.
That weekend, Ric Flair was also inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. However, in preparation for his match Flair did not appear on stage at WrestleMania when the newest inductees were introduced. Instead, his children stood in to represent their father.
10 10. Becky Came to Canada
Becky Lynch began her professional wrestling career in Europe where sometimes getting noticed can prove to be a difficult task. Following a few years on the scene and some soul-searching, Lynch decided to make the trip across seas to North America.
While in Canada, Becky Lynch would compete for Extreme Canadian Championship Wrestling where she would become the promotion's first ever Women's Champion; holding the title for just over three-hundred days.
Becky Lynch would continue to bounce around the independent circuit for the next few years but the hard work and travels would eventually lead her to the promised land of WWE.
9 9. Sasha Worked for the NWA
The National Wrestling Alliance is a professional wrestling governing body that was once regarded as the most prestigious entity in the business. However, the NWA has since lost its high-ranking position within the wrestling world.
The faltering of the territorial system left the NWA in a bad spot, one from which they have never recovered. The NWA remains an operational promotion but the system has been damaged beyond repair.
Working under the ring name Miss Mercedes, Sasha Banks was once employed by the NWA; which doesn't mean as much in the modern wrestling world but maintains a traditional value and proves that Banks is serious about wrestling.
8 8. Charlotte Was Arrested
Back in 2008, Charlotte - whose real name is Ashley Fliehr - was arrested and charged with assaulting a police officer following an altercation involving herself, her then-husband, and her father, Ric Flair.
The altercation between the three was actually a fight that left The Nature Boy bloodied. The incident was said to be a "family issue." However, the attack on the officer left Charlotte facing jail time.
The situation was eventually settled with probation and a fine. This proves that even the families of legends face real world problems. Hopefully, moving forward, Charlotte avoids any more negative situations.
7 7. Becky Almost Quit Wrestling
Professional wrestling is not for everybody. The human body can only withstand so much punishment before it begins to take hold and affect the everyday lives of those involved with the strange profession.
Becky Lynch once reconsidered her career choice following a head injury that caused possible brain damage. Lynch stepped away from wrestling for a while to re-evaluate her situation.
However, the wrestling bug bites hard and Becky Lynch was eventually back in the business to continue her climb towards WWE stardom.
6 6. Sasha Has the Shortest NXT Women's Championship Reign
Sasha Banks recently lost the NXT Women's Championship to Bayley at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn. This would end her reign as champion at 192 days; the shortest reign in NXT history.
Of course, there have only been four NXT Women's Champions in the history of the promotion but each reign thus far has been for a significant amount of time, which says something about the direction of NXT.
With Bayley as the current holder of the title only time will truly tell how far she can take this championship reign.
5 5. Charlotte is the Oldest NXT Women's Champion
Once again, the topic diverts back to the aforementioned entry and back to the history of the NXT Women's Championship - a title which was once held by Charlotte for 258 days before losing the title to none other than Sasha Banks.
According to history and statistics, this would make Charlotte the oldest NXT Women's Champion in history; having won the belt at the ripe old age of ... twenty-eight ... certainly not "old" but another positive outlook on NXT.
NXT is the future and in retrospect nobody over the age of thirty should win the NXT Women's Championship.
4 4. Becky Once Managed Paige
Shimmer Women Athletes is an independent female wrestling promotion based out of Chicago, Illinois where Becky Lynch was once an active in-ring performer prior to the head injury which she sustained.
The promotion also employs a woman by the name Saraya who once performed as one half of a mother-daughter tag team alongside real life daughter, Britani Knight - who is best known now as Paige.
Upon her return to wrestling, Becky Lynch would first assume a managerial role and stand in the corner of Saraya and Britani Knight.
3 3. Sasha Ruled Chaotic Wrestling
Chaotic Wrestling is a New England-based independent wrestling promotion that was once home to a number of current and former WWE Superstars, one of which was Sasha Banks.
Performing under the ring name Mercedes KV, Sasha Banks would capture the Chaotic Wrestling Women's Championship at the young age of nineteen; holding the strap for a total of 260 days.
Sasha Banks would never lose the championship as the title was vacated when Banks signed with WWE - leaving the promotion like a Boss.
2 2. Charlotte Was Named "Rookie of the Year"
Pro Wrestling Illustrated is a professional wrestling magazine that earned a large following prior to digital age. Although not quite as influential as it once was, PWI maintains a respectable position within the wrestling community.
The publication has become known for its ranking system (500 Wrestlers of the Year) and for its annual awards. Since 1972, PWI has been naming the "Rookie of the Year" in professional wrestling.
In 1975, PWI bestowed this honor upon Ric Flair. In 2014, his daughter, Charlotte would have her name added to the long list winners.
1 1. Becky Was Trained by Finn Balor
The current NXT Champion Finn Balor has come a long way in his professional wrestling career. Balor would get his start in Europe but find his greatest success (until now) in Japan where Balor (known as Prince Devitt) was a bonafide wrestling star.
Back in 2002, Fergal Devitt (real name) - alongside a friend - would open his own promotion in Ireland - a place where wrestling promotions/schools were not a commonality.
That is where a young girl named Rebecca Quin (real name) would find her footing and learn about the hardships and hard times that come along with professional wrestling.
