Wrestlers, by nature, are physical people, so it should come as no surprise that many of them live promiscuous lifestyles. In fact, one could easily draw several parallels between wrestling and what Liz Lemon would call “mommy daddy sheet monster times.” For starters, they’re both heavily rooted in physical attraction (let’s face it, most female wrestlers are primarily famous not for their personalities but for their looks). And then of course there is the physical contact: the groping, grappling, grunting, sweating, slapping, and being pinned into submission. It’s no wonder that the number one excuse parents use when they’ve been walked in on by their children in the bedroom is: “Mommy and daddy were just wrestling.” Sure, just wrestling.
Don’t think that it’s just the male wrestlers who are doing the cavorting, either. Divas have been known to bounce around from partner to partner, succumbing to their primitive wants and desires. After all, it takes two to tango… or something like that.
Here are the 15 most promiscuous WWE Divas of all time.
15 Nikki Bella
Nikki Bella has only dated two wrestlers that we know of, but they are two of the biggest names in the business: Dolph Ziggler and John Cena.
Bella and Ziggler met when they were both in the developmental league in Tampa, Florida, and they soon started a relationship that lasted until their breakup in 2011. Not long after, Nikki hooked up with Cena, and the two have been together ever since. Since his rough divorce from longtime partner Elizabeth Huberdeau, Cena has stated that he is opposed to getting married and having children, but there are rumors that he might be willing to make an exception for Bella.
Before Ziggler and Cena, Nikki was married to her high school boyfriend at the age of 20, although the marriage only lasted three years, at which point it was annulled.
14 Stacy Keibler
Before her high-profile relationship with actor George Clooney, Stacy Keibler was dating her way through the WWE. Her first wrestler boyfriend was David Flair (whom she dated both on- and off-screen), son of wrestling legend Ric Flair—I think it’s safe to say that this was the pinnacle of David’s disappointing career/life.
Once Keibler came to her senses (or perhaps regained vision?), she dumped Flair and quickly moved on to Andrew “Test” Martin (another on-/off-screen relationship). Although not officially confirmed by either, Keibler is also believed to have hooked up with Acadamy Award-winning actor Jamie Foxx.
Keibler is now happily married to businessman Jared Pobre, with whom she has a two-year-old daughter, Ava Grace.
13 Ashley Massaro
With just a few years of WWE service under her belt, Ashley Massaro might not have had the longest professional wrestling career, but she managed to squeeze in a lifetime’s worth of dating in that time. Perhaps her most famous relationship was with wrestling Matt Hardy. After their amicable spit, she moved on to Paul London, which created a public feud between London and a jealous Hardy. Apparently tired of the drama associated with dating a fellow wrestler, Massaro later began a relationship with Chuck Comeau, drummer for the band Simple Plan.
Ashley joined the ranks of several other promiscuous WWE Divas by posing in her birthday suit for Playboy, which led to an in-ring feud with Jillian Hall, who was envious of the newfound attention that Massaro was receiving for her looks.
Maria Kanellis was one of the most beautiful women in the WWE, so it should come as no shock that she was sought after by many of her fellow wrestlers, including John Cena and CM Punk. She dated Punk (who didn’t?) from 2005 to 2007, at which point she was rumored to have took up with Cena (again, who didn’t?). When asked what it was like to kiss Cena, she replied, “I’m an actress first. I sign a contract to play a role and I get paid for it. It’s not reality, it’s a role.” Apparently the line between reality and fiction is a bit blurry for Maria.
Neither Punk nor Cena could tame Kanellis, however. That distinction goes to another wrestler: Michael Bennett, to whom she has been married since October 10, 2014.
11 Alexa Bliss
Don’t let Alexa Bliss’s adorable demeanor fool you; despite what her innocent smile might tell you, she is reportedly one of the “friendliest” Divas in the company, with one anonymous former NXT wrestler going so far as to describe her as a “ring rat.”
To be fair, at this point her promiscuity is largely the stuff of gossip, so who knows what’s true and what’s not, but what is for certain is the fact that since 2015 she’s been in a relationship with fellow wrestler Matthew Adams (aka Buddy Murphy), who was working alongside Alexa in WWE’s developmental league before she was promoted to the main stage.
Now that she’s in the big leagues, we could see her trade in her NXT boyfriend for a WWE superstar.
Before being attached to Stephanie McMahon, Triple H was involved in a high-profile relationship with Joannie Laurer (aka Chyna), forming one of the most muscular couples in WWE history. But before they became the “it” couple of the wrestling world, Laurer insisted that they keep their relationship a secret, out of fear that others would perceive that she had “slept her way to the top.”
After separating from H, she began a relationship with Sean Waltman, to whom she was engaged twice but never got married. Their troubled relationship, which included an incident of domestic assault (she allegedly beat him up), reached a climax (no pun intended) when they filmed and distributed a sex tape called 1 Night in China, which sold over 100,000 copies, although she claimed that she never saw a penny of the profits from it.
Amy Dumas (aka Lita) was the last notch on CM Punk’s belt before he ended his serial-dating ways and settled down with the gorgeous AJ Lee. Speaking of serial dating, Lita, whose wrestling career spanned nearly two decades, has bagged her fair share of bucks over the years. In fact, you might call her the female version of CM Punk (who’s seemingly dated just about every female wrestler in the biz), since she’s been with Matt Hardy, Edge, Shane Morton, and of course Punk (more than once)—and that’s just the ones we know of.
Lita based her career around her sex appeal, becoming famous for her “live sex celebrations,” so it’s probably news to no one that she’s considered one of the most promiscuous WWE Divas of all time.
8 Stephanie McMahon
Stephanie McMahon was no saint herself. Before settling down with Triple H, she garnered a reputation for cozying up with the company’s talent. There’s even a famous story that she was once in a relationship with Macho Man Randy Savage, who was 24 years older than her (although, to be fair, this might simply be a WWE legend).
What isn’t legend is her relationship with Triple H, as the two have now been married for nearly 13 years. Their real-life romance began as an in-ring one, as they had practice for their real marriage by playing a married couple on-screen for three years before officially tying the knot in 2003.
It was once widely rumored that Stephanie was the main reason for H’s breakup with then-girlfriend Chyna, although he’s strongly refuted this and instead claims that they got together after he and Laurer had broken up.
Yet another female wrestler who fell victim to the irresistible charms of John Cena and CM Punk—this time it's Melina Perez, who made her professional wrestling debut a decade and a half ago and joined the WWE in 2004.
On top of Cena and Punk (not literally, of course, although who knows, given their reputations), Melina is alleged to have "dated" another wrestling superstar, Batista, while she was still with her then-boyfriend John Morrison, but before all this, she dated Mike Knox.
While many of her fellow Divas were happy to see her go in 2011, chances are many of the male wrestlers were sad to say goodbye, especially since she'd dated about half of them.
6 Christy Hemme
Christy Hemme, the first ever contestant to win the Diva Search, might not have made much of a splash in the ring in her brief time in the company, but she certainly made a splash out of it.
Most of Hemme's relationships in the WWE are pure speculation, but then again, most rumors get started for a reason. She was first suspected of having an affair with Triple H while he was with Stephanie McMahon, and then word began to circulate that she was shacking up with her boss and Stephanie's father, Vince McMahon (probably safe to assume that Christy's name doesn't come up too often at family get-togethers).
But all that's behind Hemme, as she's now been married to Charley Patterson since 2010, and together they had their first child, Charlie Rose (big PBS fans?), in early 2015.
5 Torrie Wilson
When you're as beautiful as Torrie Wilson, you can have just about any guy in the world, and there was a while there where it did indeed feel like she had been with nearly ever guy in the world (or at least in the World Wrestling Entertainment), including Peter Gruner (aka Billy Kidman, to whom she was married from 2003 to 2008), Nick Mitchell of Spirit Squad fame, and Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez, whom she dated from 2011 to 2015 (no wonder A-Rod's numbers plummeted this year; he was still getting over his breakup).
At 41 years of age, Wilson, who now splits her time between modeling and working out, is more beautiful than ever, which means her dating life is probably better than ever.
One of the most popular backstage storylines of the 1990s included Tammy Lynn Sytch (aka Sunny) and two of the biggest names in the industry: Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart. While in the midst of a relationship with Michaels, Sunny is alleged to have been fooling around with Hart, which, unsurprisingly, led to a confrontation between the two rivals, and it may have even led to a real-life confrontation between Hart and his wife (although Hart denies this).
But Sunny's sexual exploits during her wrestling career pale in comparison to her post-wrestling exploits. Earlier this year, amidst arrests and legal troubles, she signed on with the adult entertainment company Vivid to release her own film, entitled Sunny Side Up: In Through the Backdoor (no word yet on what the film will be about).
3 Kelly Kelly
There was once a theory in the wrestling world that former Diva Kelly Kelly used a repetitive ring name because she dated enough men for two women. Okay, maybe that wasn’t a real theory, but it ought to have been, as KK did indeed bag her fair share of men in her brief time in the WWE.
According to Randy Orton, Kelly had been romantically linked to a long list of wrestlers, which included CM Punk, John Cena, Chris Jericho, Batista, Dolph Ziggler, Test, and Orton himself.
But even the most promiscuous of women have to settle down at some point, and that’s exactly what Kelly did this year when she married former Montreal Canadiens defenseman Sheldon Souray.
2 Mickie James
Mickie James got her start in the WWE by playing a character who was attracted to the point of obsession with Trish Stratus, which led to some pretty raunchy scenes between the two. With such sexual-based origins, it should really come as no surprise that James was also known for her promiscuous lifestyle outside of the ring, having been attached to seemingly every top male wrestler at one point or another (sorry fellas, her relationship with Stratus was purely professional).
She dated two of the biggest names in the industry in John Cena and CM Punk, and she is also believed to be responsible for the divorce of Cena and his first wife, Elizabeth Huberdeau. At the time of the (alleged) affair, James was in a relationship of her own with Kenn Doane.
It looks as though James has put her promiscuous ways behind her, as she’s now settled down with Nick Aldis (aka Magnus), whom she married in 2015.
1 Missy Hyatt
I don’t think I’m telling any tales out of school when I say that Missy Hyatt had a reputation for sleeping around. Her dating streak in the wrestling industry began way back in 1985, when she served as manager/girlfriend for “Hollywood” John Tatum. She moved on from Tatum to Eddie Gilbert, whom she married in 1988. There were also rumors that she had hooked up with several other wrestlers, including, but most likely not limited to, Ed Leslie, Jake “The Snake” Roberts, Sting, and Road Warrior Hawk.
Not afraid to kiss and tell, Hyatt has spoken publicly about many of her hookups, and she goes into graphic detail about past flings in her autobiography Missy Hyatt: First Lady of Wrestling, even discussing certain male wrestlers’ body parts.
