Kurt Angle is one of the greatest wrestlers in history. He accomplished so much during his time in the WWE. Angle participated in a number of unforgettable matches. His best matches in the WWE were against Brock Lesnar, Eddie Guerrero, Chris Benoit, and Shawn Michaels. Not only did he thrive in the ring, but Kurt Angle was one of the best talkers as well. His promos with Stone Cold Steve Austin and John Cena were hilarious works of art. While he could be funny, Kurt was mainly known for his intensity.

Throughout the history of professional wrestling, there have been only a handful of WWE Superstars as talented as Kurt Angle. Aside from being one of the best performers in sports entertainment history. Kurt is the only Olympic gold medalist to ever win a WWE Championship. His Olympic background was intertwined into nearly every single storyline he participated in. Kurt dominated the WWE roster in the early 2000s. He won the World Heavyweight Championship six times, and he performed in two "Match of the Years."

From 2000-2006, Kurt Angle was one of the highest paid performers in the WWE. However, it wasn't long until Angle was burnt out. In 2006, he asked Vince McMahon for a release from his contract. At first, McMahon was angered, but he eventually let Kurt go. It has been a decade since we have seen Kurt Angle in a WWE ring, and I think it's about time that he returns to his roots.

There are a number of reasons why Kurt Angle should return to the WWE. But, here is our list of the Top 15 Reasons Fans Want To See Kurt Angle Back In The WWE.

15 15. He Was Money on The Mic

Kurt Angle was not only a brilliant performer, but he was also a master of crowd control. The WWE fans bought into everything that the Olympic gold medalist said. Whether he was a heel or face, Kurt Angle demanded the attention of the crowd. One of the funniest things that Angle ever did was when he came out as Shawn Michaels. Angle wore HBK's wrestling gear, and he was even accompanied to the ring by Sensational Sherri.

Another hilarious moment in Angle's career was when he rap battled against a young John Cena. Kurt delivered the famous rhyme, "You don't scare me no, no, no. I may suck, but you just blow." The Smackdown crowd roared in approval, and the ringside commentators weren't able to control their laughter.

Throughout his career in the WWE, he portrayed the image of a squeaky clean gold medalist. But, behind the scenes, Angle's life was out of control. He eventually left the WWE in 2006, but it wasn't long until TNA signed him to their lackluster roster. During his time away from the WWE, he became addicted to painkillers and alcohol. Angle's wife of many years left him for Jeff Jarrett, which was embarrassing enough. But, things got even worse from there.

In 2013, Kurt Angle was arrested multiple times for driving under the influence. Thankfully, Angle is sober these days, and all of his fans want him to succeed in life. His problematic lifestyle caused him to waste a lot of money, and a return to the WWE would prove to be rather profitable for him.

13 13. He Belongs There

Kurt Angle is an A-class wrestler. He proved that on a number of occasions, but his rivalry with Shawn Michaels in 2005 showcased just how great he truly was. Anyone that can hang with "The Showstopper" deserves a stamp of approval, and Kurt Angle did much more than just hang with HBK. Michaels has even admitted that Angle was one of the best WWE Superstars that he has ever shared the ring with.

It was a sad day when Kurt Angle left the WWE in 2006. His run in TNA was mediocre, and he seemed like a big fish in a little pond. Nonetheless, he did have a few good matches against the likes of Samoa Joe, Sting, and AJ Styles. With that being said, we all knew that Kurt deserved to be headlining WrestleMania rather than Hard Justice.

12 12. To School Roman Reigns

If Kurt Angle ever came back to the WWE, it would be great to see him take on Roman Reigns in a lengthy program. Being a veteran of the game, Angle would school Roman Reigns in more ways than one. First of all, Reigns cannot cut a promo to save his life. Angle was one of the best talkers during his run in the WWE, and it wouldn't be hard to imagine that he could teach Reigns a thing or two about cutting a promo. Furthermore, placing Angle in the ring against Reigns would be an eye opening experience for the young man. Like other veterans of the past, Kurt Angle could pass his knowledge down to those who need it. And, we all know that Roman Reigns needs all the help that he can get.

11 11. Everyone Loves A Good Comeback Story

In the early 2000s, Kurt Angle was one of the best wrestlers on the planet. He competed in epic matches against The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Undertaker, Triple H, and Shawn Michaels. Angle was on top of the world before his departure from the WWE in 2006. Unfortunately, Kurt Angle hit rock bottom during his time away from the company. His DUIs and mug shots were reported on TMZ. Angle's real life marital problems were webbed into TNA storylines. It's safe to say that the Kurt Angle from today is a far cry from the one in the early 2000s. But, with that being said, there is nothing more that people love than a good comeback story.

Like Shawn Michaels, Kurt Angle has the chance to redeem himself with a second run in the WWE. All of his failures would fade away if he could manage to have one last successful run in the WWE. Even if he isn't the same old Kurt Angle that we remember, we would all cheer him on for making an effort to redeem himself from his past mistakes.

10 10. He Would Be The Best Shoot Wrestler On The Roster

Kurt Angle loved to bring up the fact that he won a gold medal in freestyle wrestling. His accomplishment was even more impressive because of the fact that he won with a broken freaking neck. Angle is by far the greatest real wrestler who has ever competed in the business. The only other active competitor on the WWE roster who has great amateur wrestling skills is Brock Lesnar. Of course, the two have tangled (for real) in the past, and believe it or not, Angle came out on top.

The fact that Kurt Angle is a legitimate wrestler adds something extra to his presence. Like Lesnar, the fans know that Kurt Angle is a tough competitor who could do some serious damage outside of the Pro-Wrestling ring.

9 9. He Would Be One Of The Top Guys

Thanks to the many injuries that have plagued the WWE as of late, the roster has felt a bit stale. Aside from Dean Ambrose and Kevin Owens, there is really no one else who is young and healthy enough to compete right now. Don't believe me? Just take a look at the list of WWE Superstars who are currently out of action right now due to injury. Seth Rollins, John Cena, Bray Wyatt, Randy Orton, and Tyson Kidd have all been sidelined. To make things even worse for the WWE, two of the best competitors in recent years, CM Punk and Daniel Bryan, will most likely never wrestle in a WWE ring again.

Adding Kurt Angle to the roster at a time like this would only shake things up for the better. Angle's star power would quickly ascend him to the top of the roster. He is a talented veteran, and younger wrestlers would most likely benefit from his presence in and out of the ring.

8 8. They Want To See Him Compete Against The Biggest Stars of Today

If Kurt Angle still has all of the wrestling ability that made him so great, it would be a joy to watch him perform against the best wrestlers of today. While the current roster is weak compared to other generations, there are quite a few WWE Superstars who would push Kurt Angle to the limit. Seth Rollins, John Cena, Brock Lesnar, and Dean Ambrose would be great opponents for the Olympic gold medalist. Angle could even have a couple of matches against The Undertaker or The Rock depending on their schedules. No matter who you place in the ring against Kurt Angle, he is going to do his best to make the match a classic.

7 7. They Want To Chant "You Suck" During His Entrance

While the WWE fans love Kurt Angle, they love to chant "You Suck" while his entrance music is played even more. We all know that Kurt doesn't suck, but chanting "You Suck" has become a pastime for WWE fans. I can picture it now. Angle's music will hit for the first time in almost a decade, and the fans will chant along "You Suck" in a glorious harmony. Kurt Angle needs to return just so we can all chant "You Suck" at the Olympic gold medalist.

6 6. To Listen To Him Sing

As I mentioned many times throughout this list, Kurt Angle is multi-talented. Oh, it's true, it's true. Not only can Angle out-wrestle everyone, but he can out-sing them as well. However, he may need his former singing partner Stone Cold Steve Austin at his side to hit the notes just right. Angle and Austin were hilarious together, but one of the funniest moments came when Kurt sang "Jimmy Crack Corn" to an upset Mr. McMahon. Unfortunately for Kurt, his music only drove McMahon out of the room.

5 5. His Wrestling Ability

Kurt Angle is one of the best wrestlers of all time. When it comes to in-ring performers, there are only a few wrestlers who can keep up with him. Angle uses his real life wrestling ability to his advantage. He can transition from suplexes to submissions in the blink of an eye. Kurt also knows when to take breaks and step on the gas. If he wants to, Kurt Angle can blow up almost anyone in the ring. Aside from being one of the best technical wrestlers of all time, Kurt was also a daredevil. There are few superstars who possess a moonsault as impressive as the Olympic gold medalist. Angle is a special performer, and he has already proved how great he truly is.

4 4. The Fans Want Another Milk Bash

In 2001, the fans were treated to the first and only milk bash in WWE history. Outnumbered by the Alliance, which included the WWE Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin, Kurt Angle drove a milk truck to the ring. Angle then threw cartons of milk at Stone Cold and his alliance. The scene was hilarious, but it got even better when Kurt took out the firehouse. Angle sprayed everyone down with milk, and the crowd went wild. He then stood on top of the milk truck and downed two cartons of milk at the same time.

Stone Cold Steve Austin did the exact same thing against the Corporation in the late 1990s. However, Austin used a beer truck. Nonetheless, Kurt's milk bash was one of the most unforgettable moments in WWE history.

3 3. His Shiny Gold Medal

Kurt Angle loved his Olympic gold medal more than anything on this earth. I mean, he did win it with a broken freaking neck. If Kurt ever returns to the WWE, he better bring his Olympic gold medal with him. Back in the early 2000s, Kurt's gold medal was the key component to several of his matches and storylines. Stone Cold Steve Austin famously stole Kurt's Olympic gold medal on an episode of Monday Night Raw in 2001. The Austin and Angle rivalry intensified drastically after the Texas Rattlesnake stole Kurt's prized possession. The WWE fans deserve the chance to stare in awe at Kurt's Olympic gold medal just one more time.

2 2. The Hall Of Fame

More likely than not, Kurt Angle will end up in the WWE Hall of Fame one day. However, it is true that Angle did spend a lot of time in TNA, and I'm wondering if that will cause Vince McMahon to reconsider Kurt's rightful place in the Hall of Fame. Nonetheless, a successful return to the WWE would most likely earn a stamp of approval from Mr. McMahon. But, Kurt would need to prove his loyalty to the company once more. He would probably need to job to Triple H one or two times before going over clean on a high ranked superstar. If Kurt does everything necessary to regain the trust of McMahon and Hemsley, he will indeed be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

1 1. They Want One More Match

If Kurt Angle were to retire tomorrow, the WWE fans would be extremely sad. Angle deserves to have his final wrestling match at the grandest stage of them all. Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair, and Bret Hart all wrestled a final time at Wrestlemania, and Kurt Angle deserves that privilege as well. Of course, we would love to see Angle have more than one match, but he is prone to injuries.

It would be an honor for us all to see the Olympic gold medalist compete at least one more time in a WWE ring. Angle has already expressed his desire to work with Daniel Bryan in the future. Unfortunately, Bryan has since retired due to injury, but there are still a few WWE Superstars who are worthy of performing against Kurt in his final match. Seth Rollins is someone who could give Kurt everything he needed. It would be an epic showdown between the young lion and the old veteran. Or, the WWE could place Kurt against the Beast known as Brock Lesnar.

Kurt Angle has a history with Lesnar, and a fight to the bitter end would only seem fit for the Olympic gold medalist. No matter who he faces, the WWE fans would watch him compete in one more match for the ages.
