It is hard to believe, but Impact Wrestling (formerly TNA) has existed for two decades now, and in this span, there have been some incredible tag teams that have graced the company's TV presentation. At times, the promotion's tag team division was easily its most underrated aspect, thanks to tandems like America’s Most Wanted, Triple X, The Motor City Machine Guns, Beer Money Inc., and The Wolves.

However, with the good comes the bad, and alongside such prominent names have come quite a few duo acts that were far from memorable. Most of these names may be forgotten, but we have got that covered below.

10 Jessie Godderz: The BroMans

Jessie Godderz today

Also called Mr. PEC-Tacular, Jessie Godderz is a former two-time TNA World Tag Team Champion with Robbie E as part of The BroMans. They also had DJZ, the current Joaquin Wilde, as part of the stable.

Godderz currently competes for OVW, where he has won multiple titles, including the OVW National Heavyweight Championship the OVW Television strap, and the OVW Southern Tag Team titles. Interestingly, he had appeared as a contestant on two seasons of Big Brother, where he continues to return for guest appearances.

9 Robbie E: The BroMans

Robbie E is also a former TNA Television and X Division Champion. He has turned up for many other promotions under the ring name Rob Eckos, including Chaotic Wrestling, East Coast Wrestling Association, and the National Wrestling Alliance.

The 38-year-old currently turns out for WWE as part of NXT. He debuted in the "developmental brand" in 2019 as Robert Stone/Mr. Stone and manages performers under the Robert Stone Brand.

8 Shannon Moore: Ink Inc.

Moore has gone on to better things, though, and he is currently the Atomic Revolutionary Wrestling (ARW) Heavyweight Champion, his third reign. He has also won titles in other promotions through his relatively nomadic career and even had stints in WCW and WWE in the late 1990s/early 2000s.

7 Jesse Neal: Ink Inc.

Jese Neal today

Jesse Neal, a former member of the U.S. military, has also had a nomadic career after leaving TNA. He even turned out for ARW, where he won the Heavyweight and Hardcore Championships twice each.

Interestingly, PWI ranked him 84th among the top 500 singles wrestlers in the PWI 500 in 2011. The 42-year-old occasionally takes wrestling booking today in the Orlando area and remains best friends with Shannon Moore.

6 Lance Hoyt: Rock 'n' Rave Infection

Lance Archer

One of the great what-ifs for TNA, Lance Hoyt was once part of its oft-forgotten tag team, Rock 'n' Rave Infection. The group also consisted of Jimmy Rave and Hoyt's then on-screen girlfriend, Christy Hemme, who also served as their manager.

Now Lance Archer, the big man has been tearing up the wrestling scene in Japan and North America since leaving TNA in 2009. He is currently signed with AEW, where many feel he is underutilized, and NJPW, where he has won singles and tag gold multiple times.

5 Jimmy Rave: Rock 'n' Rave Infection

Unfortunately, he passed away aged 39 on December 12, 2021. He had tweeted a year earlier he was retiring from the business after needing medical help, which involved getting multiple limbs amputated.

4 Adam Jones: Team Pacman

Adam Jones today

Adam Jones had quite a career in the NFL before becoming a pro wrestler, as he was a cornerback and return specialist for teams like Cincinnati Bengals, Tennessee Titans, and Dallas Cowboys. He was also a college football player in West Virginia.

Jones joined TNA as part of Team Pacman alongside Ron Killings, and the duo won the TNA World Tag Team champions once, reigning for a month-plus. He has had a troubled time recently, getting arrested on February 15, 2021, in Hamilton County, Ohio, for misdemeanor assault, but has worked to move away from his chequered past.

3 Ron Killings: Team Pacman

R-Truth 24/7 Champion

Ron Killings has enjoyed a rather colorful career in pro wrestling, including stints in NWA, TNA, and WWE. Interestingly, Team Pacman won the TNA World Tag Team Championship from Kurt Angle and Sting, with Jones getting the pin.

Killings, now R-Truth, has since rejoined Vince McMahon's empire and become its comedy and 24/7 king. He continues to appear heavily on WWE TV despite being 50, and a Hall of Fame induction seems likely.

2 Hamada

Ayako Hamada today

During the December 17, 2009, episode of Impact!, Hamada formed a tag team with Awesome Kong. The two then clinched a three-way non-title match against the TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions Taylor Wilde and Sarita and The Beautiful People (Madison Rayne and Velvet Sky), with Kong pinning Rayne.

Come the first Impact of 2010, Kong and Hamada beat Sarita and Wilde to claim the TNA Knockouts Tag Team Championship. Now going by the name Ayako Hamada, she has returned to Mexican promotion AAA for a second time, having come out of retirement in July 2019, and also turns up for companies like Pro Wrestling Mexico.

The scary behemoth of the women's division had a lengthy and successful career in between the ropes, including the stint with Hamada as TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions. She also turned up for promotions like All Japan Women's Pro-Wrestling, NWA, and WWE, winning titles in almost all these organizations.

Awesome Kong is now a retired legend of the business, having called time on her in-ring career in August 2021. She has carved a decent acting career in the meanwhile, appearing in series like GLOW and Aunty Donna's Big Ol' House of Fun, apart from Katy Perry's Swish Swish music video.
