Luna Vachon was quite the character in her time. While everyone may have their own favorite iteration of her characters, a surprising fact might be that she actually provided vocals for any actual metal band.

The band in question is named Nasty Savage, and they are supposedly still together to this day. That certain style of music may not be for everyone, but it is fair to say that it fits in with the image that Luna would strive for throughout much of her career.

To be fair, she didn’t only manage Gangrel, she actually managed the team that he was a part of. The Blackhearts were a masked tag team that saw some success in Stampede Wrestling, and she managed the team all around the world for quite some time.

While there is plenty of controversy surrounding Luna Vachon’s first video game appearance, it is said that she is truly the first woman to appear in a video game for the WWF. Of course, the controversy is somewhat silly when you consider the kind of graphics that were available at the time.

Despite whatever objections people had and despite whatever controversies there were, Luna Vachon holds the distinct accolade of being the first woman to be playable in a WWF video game. That title in question is WWF Raw for the SNES and Sega Genesis.

2 She Once Defeated An Intercontinental Champion

There have been many women that have gone on to accomplish some incredible things. Something that is already pretty rare is for a woman to beat a man in a match. The most famous instances usually feature Chyna, but she wasn’t the only one with high-profile wins over men.

Jeff Jarrett is a wrestler that most people have mixed opinions on, so some may be glad to know that at one point, the reigning Intercontinental Champion actually lost to Luna Vachon. The victory was via disqualification, but it’s not every day that a male star is beaten by a female star in a place like WWE.

Everyone is free to have their own opinions on Sable and what performers like her did for the wrestling industry. What seemingly isn’t up for debate is the alleged issues that were had between not only Sable and Luna Vachon, but also WWE as a whole.

Both sides have made claims about the others over the years, but Luna once claimed that Sable actually refused to learn to take a proper bump on route to their WrestleMania match. Unfortunately, WWE put all the responsibility for Sable's performance on Luna Vachon, but everything turned out alright in the end.
