WrestleMania 18 was a fantastic show, with some brilliant matches taking place which helped to make this an event that fans still remember. The PPV had a loaded roster from top to bottom, with many of the greatest wrestlers in history being part of the event overall.

However, several people who were involved in that show are still competing today, which showcases the connection that they have to the industry, and their ability to stay in shape.

10 Christian

Christian was involved in WrestleMania 18 against Diamond Dallas Page in a match that saw them compete for the European Championship. Captain Charisma ended up being defeated that particular day, but since that night he continued to climb up the ladder as a singles star.

Christian eventually captured the World Heavyweight Championship, proving himself as a top talent. However, he then ended up suffering an injury that many thought would force him to retire. Despite that, he was able to return at the 2020 Royal Rumble, and now he gets to compete for AEW, working with Jurassic Express.

9 RVD

Rob Van Dam has always been one of the top stars in the wrestling world, whether that be for ECW, WWE, or TNA. At WrestleMania 18, the high-flying talent competed in the opening match, winning the Intercontinental Championship by defeating William Regal, which was a huge moment for him.

In 2021, RVD was given a huge honor by being inducted into the Hall Of Fame, showcasing the career that he was able to put together. However, he has not retired from the business just yet, with RVD still competing on the independent scene occasionally.

8 Steve Austin

Steve Austin didn't have one of his greatest nights at WrestleMania 18. He competed against Scott Hall in a rather forgettable encounter, but there's no doubt that fans still love the Texas Rattlesnake. Austin has not competed since WrestleMania 19, but he has stayed connected to the business.

Austin now hosts his own show on the WWE Network/Peacock, known as Broken Skull Sessions. He interviews different wrestlers regularly, from legends to current talent. However, there are also rumors that a return to the ring could be taking place at some point soon.

7 The Rock

WrestleMania 18 is one of the most important nights in the history of The Rock's career. He put together some fantastic matches throughout his run, but his encounter with Hulk Hogan was an unbelievable one. This was the best bout of the night, and helped to cement The Rock's legacy.

While he was a star in wrestling at that point, few people would have expected him to go on and become the biggest name in Hollywood. Nowadays, that is exactly what The Rock does, appearing in countless blockbuster movies regularly, becoming a global success.

Lita is one of the greatest women's wrestlers of all time, and she was involved in a featured encounter at WrestleMania 18. She competed against Jazz and Trish Stratus, and even though she didn't come out on top, it was still a big moment for her. However, she is still working in the ring to this day.

Lita recently returned to compete in the Royal Rumble, but she will also be involved at the Elimination Chamber event, facing Becky Lynch for the Raw Women's Championship. It's unknown if she is going to continue working, but having her back has been something fans have enjoyed watching.

5 Goldust

Goldust is another wrestler who still competes to this day, although no longer under this classic gimmick. At WrestleMania 18, Goldust was involved in a Hardcore Championship match, working with Maven and Spike Dudley. However, to this day, Dustin Rhodes is just as gifted inside the ring.

He is going to go down as one of the all-time greats in professional wrestling. Dustin might not be featured as much anymore in AEW, but he does also have a backstage role for the company, teaching some younger wrestlers.

4 The Undertaker

The Undertaker is the person that every wrestling fan thinks of first when it comes to WrestleMania. His undefeated streak is incredible, and at this point, most fans thought it would go on forever. Here, Ric Flair was added to the long list of people he's beaten at the Grandest Stage Of Them All, in what was an entertaining encounter.

The Deadman continued competing in the ring for a lot longer than most people thought he would, but his boots are now firmly hung up. However, his character remains one that people are still intrigued by. Nowadays, he peels back the curtain, doing interviews and talking openly about his life. Netflix also produced an interactive movie based on him, featuring The New Day.

3 Booker T

Booker T went against Edge at WrestleMania 18 in what brought together one of the strangest storylines in WWE history. This was all based around shampoo, and that is something that people will often forget. The in-ring product was strong though, between two of the most talented wrestlers of that generation.

Booker has since been inducted into the Hall Of Fame twice, honoring his singles and tag team career. He is still not retired, competing occasionally for his promotion, Reality Of Wrestling. However, Booker T is now focused on broadcasting, being part of WWE's pre-show panels at PPVs, while he also hosts his own podcast.

2 Chris Jericho

Chris Jericho competed in the main event of WrestleMania 18, in what was one of the most important matches of his career. Even though he was working at the top of his game at that point, Y2J is still competing to this day. However, he is now part of AEW, which is a company that fans would never have thought about when this show was taking place.

Jericho was the first-ever AEW World Champion, and he continues to be a featured part of the show to this day. At the moment, he is enjoying a storyline with Eddie Kingston, and he has continued to compete at a high level with his promo work being just as strong.

Kane competed against Kurt Angle at WrestleMania 18, which is often an overlooked match from that particular night. Nowadays, he is not focused on the wrestling world, although he does make occasional appearances for the company. However, his main focus right now is politics.

The Big Red Machine is currently the mayor of Knox County, doing his best to help and improve that area. It is a story that few people would have predicted when he was competing against the Olympic gold medalist. However, the man who portrayed one of WWE's most iconic gimmicks is now pushing a different side of himself.
