Top 20 Hottest Independent Female Wrestlers Of 2016

Trying to determine the hottest independent female wrestler is quite a difficult task. There are simply so many promotions around the world that it is quite difficult to keep track of every single wrestler out there trying to make a name for herself.

It can also be quite difficult to determine what exactly defines an independent wrestler as opposed to someone who is more well-known. For the purposes of this list, any woman currently on the rosters of any WWE brand (Raw, Smackdown, and NXT) or TNA is not included. Anyone else is fair game including promotions like Women of Honor, Shimmer, and many more.

Many of these lists will feature the same women over and over again, but we have attempted to look beyond the regulars to find some lesser known talent to include as well. Thanks to social media and YouTube, it is now easier to discover new talent than ever before, although you can easily spend hours at a time going down that rabbit hole if you aren’t careful.

Women’s wrestling has come a long way since the days when the WWE was promoting gimmicks like bra and panties matches and using these women for their sex appeal. While the focus has shifted to what these women can actually do in the ring, the fact is that more people are going to pay attention to the women who are attractive, whether that is a good or a bad thing.

Taylor Made has made a name for herself in SHIMMER and SHINE and will likely remain on the independent circuit for her entire career. 16 Britt Baker

Gotcha.😼 @4monsterfactory @deonnapurrazzo #prowrestling #fitness #MFPW

A post shared by Britt Baker (@realbrittbaker) on

A newcomer on the women’s wrestling scene, Britt Baker may temporarily be known for being one of the “jobbers” who got demolished by Nia Jax on Monday Night Raw this summer. Baker has only been wrestling for a year and was trained by the likes of Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae. The 25 year old studied at Penn State University and is now a dental student at the University of Pittsburgh. She has previously worked as a fitness instructor and her body shows it. Hailing from Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, Baker is much better looking than the creature responsible for Groundhog’s Day. Britt is the current Monster Factory Pro Wrestling Girls Champion, a title she won from the lovely Deonna Purrazzo. Britt Baker has also competed for promotions including Absolute Intense Wrestling, Empire State Wrestling, Vicious Outcast Wrestling, International Wrestling Cartel, and Girl Fight. Hopefully she will get another look with the WWE and might be a good fit with their NXT brand.

15 Kennadi Brink

via twitter.com

Kennadi Brink may not yet be a household name, but this very attractive women’s wrestler hopes to be on the brink of greatness. Hailing from Baltimore, Maryland, Ms. Kennadi (Kennadi!) was trained by none other than “Gillberg”, Duane Gill, but she is far from a jobber. Brink formerly wrestled under the name Jessie Kaye, and is now a part of The Dudley Boyz’s 3D Academy. She was an outcast in high school who looked to wrestling as an escape and an inspiration, and joined her local gym to get fit. Under her former name, she held the Dynamite Championship Wrestling Women’s Championship, East Coast Wrestling Association’s Women’s Championship, and Vicious Outcast Wrestling Vixen’s Championship. While we haven’t seen a photo from her high school year, Kennadi Brink has certainly evolved into a beautiful and talented wrestler who has been competing for more than five years on the independent scene.

14 Santana Garrett

via aminoapps.com

Santana Garrett is another women’s wrestler who has flirted with the big time promotions, competing under the name Brittany in TNA where she valeted for Orlando Jordan and had a rivalry with Madison Rayne and The Beautiful People. You know she is legit when she has a full-fledged Wikipedia page listing all of her championships which include the Shine Championship and the NWA World Women’s Championship. Garrett was trained by legends including Larry Zbyszko and Scott Hall and has been competing since 2009. Garrett is not signed by NXT but has wrestled for them against Asuka, Charlotte, Emma, and Billie Kay. In addition to being beautiful, Santana is also the most accomplished wrestler on this list and was ranked #4 on Pro Wrestling Illustrated’s Female 50 list in 2015. She has also held titles in the American Pro Wrestling Alliance, Belleview Pro Wrestling, Championship Wrestling Entertainment, Coastal Championship Wrestling, Jersey Championship Wrestling, Nova Pro Wrestling, Ring Warriors, RIOT Pro Wrestling, Southern Championship Wrestling, USA Pro Wrestling, USA Wrestling Alliance, Women of Wrestling, and World Wonder Ring Stardom.

13 Lizzy Styles

Doing a search for Lizzy Styles will certainly show you some revealing pictures of a very attractive woman. The problem for the wrestler Lizzy Styles is that there is also an adult star named Lizzy Styles. Hailing from Liverpool, England, Styles has competed in the UK and Japan for promotions such as Megaslam Wrestling, Infinite Promotions, Stardom, Coventry Pro Wrestling, Empress Pro Wrestling, and Conway County Wrestling. She is known as the princess of wrestling and her finisher is a version of the RKO called Finish in Style. Styles is young and very attractive, but may have a hard time finding success without changing her name. The bubbly Styles has held the CPW Vixens Championship twice and the Next Gen Vixens Championship. She says her main goal is to wrestle in the WWE or at least in America someday. Hopefully American wrestling fans will get to see more of Lizzy Styles sooner or later.

12 Faye Jackson

via gerweck.net

Chances are that you have never heard of Faye Jackson. This sexy thick wrestler recently made her debut inside the ring competing for the Women of Honor promotion. It won’t take you long to watch her matches online as there are only a few of them available. Jackson is also known as Faye Elise who is a plus size model originally from Ohio and now living in the tristate area. Faye started modeling in 2015 and eventually added wrestling to her repertoire. Jackson made a big splash at a Women of Honor event in 2016 when she made her “professional wrestling debut” against ODB. That phrase is in quotations because if you search for her online you can see a match for an unknown independent promotion she competed in before that time. Jackson’s second match for WOH came as part of a six woman tag team contest where she teamed up with Solo Darling and Sumie Sakai and was defeated by Deonna Purrazzo, Kennadi Brink, and Amber Gallows.

11 Amanda Rodriguez

via prowrestling.wikia.com

In that time she has competed for several independent promotions including Combat Zone Wrestling, SHINE Wrestling, Queens of Combat, and Premiere Wrestling Xperience. Amanda competes several times a month mostly in her home state of North Carolina. Although she has yet to capture any championships, Rodriguez continues to compete in many promotions which also include Women Superstars Uncensored and Big Time Wrestling. She has been a part of the stable The Office in WSU along with Sassy Stephie and Mademoiselle Rachelle. Amanda has the talent to break though and become better known, and her sexy look certainly won’t hurt her any in that department. She has competed with and against many top indy talents and looks to capture her first gold any day now.

10 KC Spinelli

via torontosun.com

KC Spinelli got her name from a cartoon character, and although she likes to have a good time, she is certainly serious when she gets in the squared circle. Spinelli was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and trained with Lance Storm among others. She has wrestled all over Canada and the United States as well as other countries including Paraguay where she was a part of Luchando TV. In 2011 she defeated her mentor Nicole Matthews to win the Extreme Canadian Championship Wrestling Women’s Championship which she held for over 500 days. Spinelli currently holds the Steel City Pro Wrestling Women’s Championship and the Acclaim Pro Wrestling Tag Team Championships (a men’s title) with Courtney Rush as part of The Danger Zone. She also once held the Pure Wrestling Association Elite Women’s Championship. KC’s fun, flirty style makes her one to watch. Chances are she will remain an indy wrestler since she is now in her 30s, but she could remain on this list for a while to come.

9 Barbi Hayden

via newwrestlecrap.proboards.com

Barbi Hayden truly deserves her name as this stunning blonde bombshell could also be named Wrestling Barbie. She has been in the business for just about six years and has also worked as a valet at times. Barbi started off wrestling for NWA and WOW, and then later for Anarchy Championship Wrestling. In 2016 she made her debut at TNA One Night Only: Knockouts Knockdown 2016 where she was able to defeat Raquel after losing a battle royal. Hayden was ranked as high as #12 on the PWI Top 50 Females list in 2014 and ranked #29 in 2015. She has also competed in Women Superstars Uncensored and Inspire Pro Wrestling among other promotions. At just 25 she should remain hot on the independent circuit for quite some time.

8 Taeler Hendrix

via alchetron.com

You may remember the stunning redhead Taeler Hendrix from her days in TNA Wrestling where she “won” a contract through the Gut Check Challenge and briefly competed including a losing effort against TNA Women’s Knockout Champion Mickie James. These days Hendrix is known for her work in Ring of Honor where she is a valet and also competes under the company’s Women of Honor promotion. Taeler appeared on Smackdown as one of Adam Rose’s “rosebuds” but later refused to do that job on an episode or Raw. She started wrestling in 2008 and competed in New England Championship Wrestling, World Women’s Wrestling, and Ohio Valley Wrestling among others. Hendrix is a three time OVW Women’s Champion and the current Queens of Combat Champion. Taeler was trained by the likes of Rip Rogers, Spike Dudley, and Al Snow. 6 Deonna Purrazzo

Deonna Purrazzo is a very talented up and coming young female wrestler who also happens to have stunning looks. You can certainly tell Deonna is a Jersey girl, with her classic beautiful looks, and she has been an athlete since a young age. She trained with Rip Rogers at the D2W Pro Wrestling Academy and although she is not a member of the NXT roster, she has made multiple appearances for the promotion against the likes of Emma, Asuka, and Nia Jax. Purrazzo has also competed in TNA at a One Night Only live PPV and at Knockouts Knockdown 2016. Deonna has held multiple titles in independent promotions including the East Coast Wrestling Association, New York Wrestling Connection, Dynamite Championship Wrestling, and Monster Factory Pro Wrestling. Like many of these women, she is active on social media and many of her matches are available to watch online. At just 22 years old, Deonna will likely stay on this list for many years to come, unless she gets signed full time by NXT or an even bigger promotion. You can keep up with her by listening to her segment on The Taz Show called In the Indies.

4 Jordynne Grace

Jordynne Grace is very sexy but at the same time may scare off anyone interested in dating her thanks to her sheer power and intimidating looks. Grace certainly doesn’t look or act graceful in the ring and is only 20 years old although she has been competing since 2011. Jordynne held the Keystone Pro Wrestling/Lancaster Championship Wrestling Vixen’s Championship in 2015 after winning it from Mandy Leon and then losing it back to her almost 100 days later. Grace was wrestling in Mexico by the time she was 17 and graduated high school a year early so she could move to St. Louis and focus on wrestling. She is heavy into lifting weights and it certainly shows in her physique. Grace has competed for WSU, Beyond Wrestling, Total Championship Wrestling, and NWA Wrestling among many others. 2 Xia Brookside

Xia Brookside is a British wrestler who has only been competing for a little over a year. She made her debut in 2014 as a valet, but made the transition into becoming a competitor. Like many other current wrestlers, Xia is a second generation talent who is the daughter of Robbie Brookside who had a very successful wrestling career in England and often tagged with Steve Regal. Now that her father is a trainer for NXT, it would not be surprising to see Xia get an opportunity with the WWE in the near future. Brookside competes for the promotion Pro Wrestling Ulster out of Belfast, Northern Ireland, so it’s likely that only hardcore wrestling fans have ever heard of her. She won the PWU Women’s Championship in June 2016 and could be on her way to even more success. Her beautiful looks certainly won’t hurt her chances of breaking through and becoming a popular women’s wrestler.

1 Mandy Leon

via xomandyleonxo.blogspot.com
