When you have a long pro-wrestling tenure as Triple H, you have to make moves every once in a while to stay relevant. Whether it is being part of a faction, betrayals or coming back from an injury, changes must occur and more than one significant moment has to be made. And throughout his career, Triple H has done just that on the biggest platform and stages this profession has to offer.

Triple H has been victorious against legends in this sport and has been seen on pay-per-views that fans will never forget. He was recently inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame this year as part of the D-Generation X stable. Here are the five reasons Triple H is better as a Babyface and five reasons he is better as a Heel.

10 Heel: Hunter Hearst Helmsley

Paul Levesque (Triple H) began his career with the WWF in 1995 under the name Hunter Hearst Helmsley. During his entrance, he would mock the fans by letting them know how wealthy he was and how ordinary people would never reach his stature no matter how hard they tried.

You can still identify similar characteristics from different wrestlers to this day in various promotions. He would also have women by his side during the matches and they would interfere in order for Hunter to get the win. Notable achievements under this character included winning the Intercontinental Championship and the King of the Ring tournament in 1997.

9 Face: Defeating Batista at WrestleMania XXXV

Triple H, Stephanie McMahon was in the ring with fellow wrestlers and legends to celebrate. When Flair's entrance music started, he was taking longer than usual to come out. This is when a video popped up on the big screen showing Batista beating up Flair. The footage made Triple H irate.

As weeks went by and each of them cutting promos on one another, it would eventually come down to their No Holds Barred match at WrestleMania XXXV in New Jersey. It got cringe-worthy throughout with Triple H literally ripping out Batista's nose ring with pliers and finishing him with a sludge hammer to the skull.

8 Heel: Joining The Corporation

Triple H would join The Corporation after betraying his friend and fellow D-Generation X member X-Pac at WrestleMania XV in 1999. The faction which starred Vince McMahon with his family and his henchmen would only get stronger with the additions of Triple H and Chyna.

Now that he was out of D-Generation X and working with Vince, things became a lot easier for Triple H. It seemed that any wrestler he went up against was not just wrestling him, but against the whole faction. He was so dominant that through The Corporation, he won his first WWF Heavyweight Championship.

7 Face: Feud With Randy Orton

In 2009, Orton was running rapidly on the McMahon family. He had taken out Vince and his son Shane with deafening blows via a punt to the face. He even had the audacity to take out Stephanie and seal it with a kiss while she was unconscious. This was all to get the attention of Triple H.

They would face each other at WrestleMania XXV and Triple H would be victorious. But the rivalry between the two had only just begun. They would keep going with sick sadistic acts on one other including. The rivalry has been on and off to this day and is known as one of the best the industry has seen.

6 Heel: Evolution

Just like early in his career, Triple H would be part of another faction. Evolution was a faction created in 2003 that consisted of Ric Flair, Randy Orton, Batista and The Cerebral Assassin himself. It represented the past, present and future stars of the WWE.

Their run was going so well that they held all the men's championship belts at the same time. But as years passed, jealousy and future stars wanting to be at the top ultimately was the demise for the faction in 2005. They would reunite every few years and actually had a memorable feud with The Shield in 2014.

5 Face: Test & Stephanie McMahon's Wedding Ceremony

In 1999, one of the most memorable segments in WWF history began in the ring where a wedding ceremony was held for Test and Stephanie McMahon. What transpired then, would be a moment fans would never forget.

Before the I do's, the big screen shows Triple H with an unconscious/somewhat drugged Stephanie in the passenger seat of his vehicle. He goes on to mention that they had just gotten married and everyone including the fans lost it. The segment was received so well that Triple H moved up the ranks from mid-card to the next superstar to challenge The Rock for the Championship. Ironically, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon would actually get married in real life.

4 Heel: The Authority

This faction, similar to The Corporation, started in 2013 and was lead by Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. It began when Triple H betrayed Daniel Bryan after he won the Heavyweight Championship at the SummerSlam pay-per-view. Randy Orton would cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase and would become the new Heavyweight Champion to end the night.

This would begin one of the best runs in WWE history when eventually Daniel Bryan would defeat Triple H, Randy Orton, and Batista all in the same night to be crowned champion at WrestleMania XXX. The Authority was also responsible for planning one of the best betrayals in history when Seth Rollins betrayed his Shield brothers. Rollins was unstoppable with The Authority by his side and would eventually become World Heavyweight Champion. Win or lose, a lot of success was due in part of Triple H and The Authority for WWE at this time.

3 Face: Coming Back From Injury

In 2001, Triple H tore his left quadriceps muscle during a tag-team match on Raw. The injury was so severe that he would miss 8 months during a sporadic and eventful time in the WWF. WCW, the brand that had the Monday Night Wars against the WWF, had invaded and he would have no part in that storyline.

But as the saying goes, minor setbacks make for huge comebacks and that is what Triple H had when he came back in 2002. He received one of the best crowd pops in history when he came back to Raw at Madison Square Garden. In the same month, he would go on to win the Royal Rumble and eventually go on to beat Chris Jericho for the Undisputed WWF Championship at WrestleMania X8.

2 Heel: Feud With Shawn Michaels

During Triple H's single run in 2002, D-Generation X had not been mentioned in quite some time. This was until Shawn Michaels came back to the WWE after some time off. With Michaels back, Triple H thought it was a good idea for DX to reunite.

As they entered the ring, they did the whole DX experience for the Raw crowd. Only for it to end with Triple H putting the pedigree on Michaels. It would start a feud with great segments and matches throughout ending with Triple H victorious against Michaels in a Hell in a Cell match in 2004.

1 Face: D-Generation X

Arguably the greatest faction in all of pro-wrestling, D-Generation X went beyond the script to be followed and talked about by fans and wrestling promotions around the world. What started as a four-piece with Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Chyna and Rick Rude, would eventually gain the likes of the New Age Outlaws and X-Pac over time.

The faction is responsible for risqué segments that stand the test of time. They eventually shortened it into a duo with Triple H and Shawn Michaels and they road it into the Hall of Fame when they all were inducted in 2019.
