WWE legend and COO Triple H returned to the ring at Survivor Series, leading Team Raw to an easy victory over Team SmackDown. The Game offered mix signals, though. He gave the Pedigree to Angle, only to pin Shane McMahon last and let Braun Strowman know that he wanted to finish it himself.
However, The Monster Among Men wasn't the least bit happy about The Game's antics and proceeded to choke and threaten him if he dared to do that again. That actually may not be a one-off, but rather a buildup to one of the WrestleMania 34 matches.
According to eWrestlingNews.com, the latest speculation is that Triple H will, in fact, face Kurt Angle. But the rumors are that these two legends will actually face off at Royal Rumble.
It is then being speculated that Triple H will face Braun Strowman at WrestleMania 34. Of course, none of this has been confirmed, and we're probably a while away from getting a better idea of whether or not the matches take place.

Assuming the speculation has some accuracy, then this would be a complete reversal of what the original rumors were. Given how Triple H forced Kurt Angle to replace him over Jason Jordan, it only seemed to be another hint of the two icons facing off on the Grandest Stage of Them All.
But it does make sense if WWE has Triple H face Strowman at WrestleMania 34. The latter has received a major push, and has already competed against many of the top stars on the company. In order to get Strowman over, WWE has to have him beat a number of alumni. With victories over Big Show and Kane, Strowman is already building plenty of momentum.
The following weeks should give us a strong indicator of who Triple H's next feud is with, between the Olympic gold medalist and Monster Among Men.
