Since Ronda Rousey's appearance at WrestleMania 31, there has been never-ending speculation about her joining the WWE. Rousey has hinted at wanting to join the squared circle, and has a good relationship with Triple H and other officials in the WWE.

Things are now about to get even more interesting, as TMZ.com is reporting that Rousey and Triple H were seen having dinner together at the Republique Restaurant in Los Angeles. Rousey was "in a pretty good mood," but wouldn't reveal if she had just signed a contract or not.

With the very first women's Royal Rumble less than three weeks away, it's certainly possible that Rousey is on the verge of joining the WWE once and for all. The Rumble will feature 30 female wrestlers, which obviously means a handful of surprising entrants are bound to take place. Rousey just may be one of them.

Rousey made a name for herself as the most dominant women's fighter in the UFC, but lost her last two matches and has hinted at retirement. UFC president Dana White has said that her career in MMA is "probably over," which certainly opens up the door for a chance to join the WWE.

In her WrestleMania 31 segment, Rousey joined The Rock in confronting Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. Rousey and The People's Champion threw The Game out of the ring, before the UFC star locked Stephanie in an arm bar.

A long-time WWE fan, Rousey idolized Hall of Famer 'Rowdy' Roddy Piper growing up. She even paid tribute to Piper at UFC 190, where she defeated Bethe Correia. Now, she just might get the chance to follow the footsteps of her idol and build up a career in the WWE.

There have been on-and-off reports about her signing a deal with the WWE, but nothing has been confirmed. Surely, dining for dinner just two weeks before the Royal Rumble adds some intrigue.
