WWE wrestler and current Chief Operating Officer Triple H is set to face Jinder Mahal in New Dehli on Dec. 9. It'll be the first time The Game and The Modern Day Maharajah face off, and it'll take place in a market of over 26 million people.
The Cerebral Assassin also issued a warning to Mahal, and explained why he's back in the WWE. You can watch the full video here, but here is (in part), the message Triple H gave to Mahal:
“Jinder Mahal. As Dec. 9th approaches, you must ask yourself why? Why am I back? Why am I stepping in the ring? Why am I coming to India, to New Dehli, to face The Modern Day Maharajah, Jinder Mahal?...Jinder. I have taken it upon myself then, to make you better. Sometimes the best way to improve is to learn from your failures...
You are no longer in front of just 1.3 billion of your people. You are now in my world. My world. And in my world, Jinder, there is only one true king. One King of Kings. And all will be humbled before him - including you. I will see you in New Dehli, Maharajah.”
Quite the warning from The Game, who'll try to defeat Mahal in the country where his character is billed from.
Triple H hadn't wrestled much for most of 2017 - with the exception of WrestleMania 33 -against Seth Rollins. But he appeared on tours in South America and Europe, replacing Kevin Owens and Roman Reigns (both men needed time away from the ring).
But The Game helped Team Raw defeat Team SmackDown at Survivor Series, and is now prepared to face Mahal for the first time. Despite being 48 years of age, Triple H has stayed in tremendous shape and continues to put on high-quality matches, and he'll be instrumental in helping put Mahal over.
Both The Game and Mahal are among the best trash talkers on the mic - but since this event won't be televised - we sadly won't get to see much of a buildup. But Triple H has made it clear that he's back to push Mahal to his limits. We'll see who emerges victorious in this one.
