Papa Hunter has built the best wrestling product under the WWE banner over the last few years. AEW claims to be an alternative, but NXT has been just that when it comes to storylines, presentation, match quality and characters. Every NXT TakeOver event has been must-see, and their weekly product has become immensely popular, especially with the move to USA Network.

With that in mind, there's always room for improvement; in this case, we'll be focusing on NXT's personnel. While the roster is definitely stacked, a few more recognizable faces and misused talent on the main roster could really take the product to a whole other level. NXT can't exactly raid Raw and SmackDown for their talent, but Triple H can definitely convince Mr. McMahon to bring these wrestlers to the yellow brand.

10 RAW: The Miz

It's crazy to think how much fans' opinion of The Miz has changed over the past few years. He went from an annoying heel and average worker, to a beloved on-screen character, face or heel. The main event scenes on Raw and SmackDown don't offer much room for The Miz, so we'd love to see an NXT Championship program involving the A-Lister. Just please, keep him away from Shane...

We hear NXT has some competition on Wednesdays, so it would be great for The Miz to provide a veteran presence and a recognizable name on the yellow brand (thing we'll get any Twitter feuds with MJF?). Plus, being the company man that he is, The Miz would be an awesome spokesperson and ambassador for NXT on USA.

9 SMACKDOWN: Asuka

She is the first ever Women's Royal Rumble winner and a former SmackDown Women's Champion, but Asuka's main roster run has still been completely bungled. It's absolutely criminal how the Empress Of Tomorrow has become yesterday's news, competing in meaningless tag team matches with Kairi Sane (another wasted talent) as the Kabuki Warriors.

We get it; Asuka's linguistic limitations prevent her from gaining the favor of some higher ups, but look no further than her NXT run to see how to properly book someone with a language barrier. We don't want to see her wasted anymore: bringing Asuka back to NXT would instantly boost their Women's Division, providing fresh, new matchups with a familiar, dominant face. Shayna Baszler vs Asuka, anyone?

8 RAW: Sami Zayn

As good as he has been as the mouthpiece for Shinsuke Nakamura, Sami Zayn is too talented of a wrestler to keep at ringside. We never expected a world title reign for Zayn; not all wrestlers are meant to win the big one, after all. We did, however, expect more from him on the main roster - poor Sami hasn't even won any gold yet!

Send him to NXT. Make him a good guy, because he's so easy to root for. The Underdog From The Underground has so many potentially epic matchups against The Undisputed Era, Johnny Gargano, Velveteen Dream, Kushida - we're salivating.

7 SMACKDOWN: The Hardy Boyz

The Hardys have quite literally done it all in the WWE, so we think Triple H recruiting them for NXT would be perfect. Not only do the younger wrestlers learn from two of the all-time great tag team specialists, we get some fresh matches and feuds in NXT's tag team division. Having recognizable names to draw in the TV audience on the USA Network certainly wouldn't hurt, either.

Plus, we like the idea of The Hardyz adding another tag team title reign to their resume (because they don't have many of those in their career), becoming the second ever team to win the Raw, SmackDown and NXT tag titles.

And we didn't even mention the possibility of The Woken Universe on NXT...

6 RAW: Samoa Joe

Let's face it: as much as some fans may want it, we're not getting a Samoa Joe world title run on the main roster. Vince McMahon is simply not a fan of Joe's look, and being a homegrown TNA talent certainly doesn't help his case.

Still, Samoe Joe's vicious mic skills and incredible in-ring work have allowed him to carve his spot on the main roster. However, with NXT's ever-evolving roster, we'd love to see Joe go for some gold and face off against all these young guns looking to impress. Keith Lee vs Samoa Joe? What about Matt Riddle vs Joe? Now imagine Joe vs WALTER. You're welcome.

5 SMACKDOWN: Ali

To state the obvious: Ali would absolutely thrive in NXT. He is massively underrated on the mic, and an absolute highlight reel of a performer in the ring. On the yellow brand, Ali would get proper time to shine, honing his character and connecting better with the crowd. There's no doubt he would deliver in the ring with NXT's technically gifted athletes, capturing plenty of gold along the way.

And who knows, he might even get his full name back.

4 RAW: The Riott Squad

This is cheating a little bit, since Liv Morgan is officially on SmackDown, but we can bend our own rules a little. They weren't lighting the world on fire, but the Riott Squad was a solid group of women who wanted to prove themselves.

Ruby is way too good of a wrestler to simply waste away on the main roster with no direction (though she's recently been off TV because of injury). NXT would maximize her potential, putting her in interesting feuds; heck, we can even see her winning the NXT Women's Championship.

Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan would also benefit from time in NXT, as they'll be able to work on their characters as well as improve in the ring.

3 SMACKDOWN: Dolph Ziggler

Who else just assumed Dolph was a member of the Raw roster? You know, being one half of the Raw Tag Team Champions and all (we really hate the Wild Card Rule).

Ziggler is a solid hand capable of stealing the show on any given night - in the right situation, of course. He's become a one-dimensional character, the disgruntled veteran, and frankly fans have grown tired of him (his booking is definitely the biggest problem).

Enter NXT. Not only does he bring legitimacy as a former World Champion, but a motivated Ziggler can bring the house down against the up and comers in NXT.

2 RAW: EC3

EC3 in WWE

Who did EC3 tick off? No official debut, no storylines, no gimmick; he's been treated like a glorified jobber since his main roster call-up. Jon Moxley shed a bit of light on the situation, but it still seems insanely weird and petty - even for WWE standards.

He never got a proper run in NXT, as he was hot-shotted to the main roster for... reasons. You'd think that EC3 would get some sort of push: he's got the jacked look Vince McMahon loves in his wrestlers, he's got a good gimmick, and his mic work is top notch. The man deserves more: save him, Papa Hunter.

1 SMACKDOWN: Rusev

While he's mostly been seen on Raw since his return, WWE.com actually lists Rusev as a member of SmackDown, so we'll go ahead and include him as a blue brand representative for NXT.

We love Rusev Day, and we know he has a lot more to offer than what he's allowed to show. The main roster doesn't need Rusev: WWE won't pull the trigger on a world title reign, so he'd have to settle for another midcard title and 50/50-booked feuds, until he gets lost in the shuffle. Heading to NXT would provide the Bulgarian Brute with plenty of new opponents and opportunities.
