Trish Stratus recently listed five women that she would love to take on in dream matches who she has never previously faced at the show of shows.

The current generation of female Superstars are arguably the most talented of all time. They are being given more opportunities than female wrestlers have ever been given before and are grabbing every single one of them with both hands and running with them. The highlight of those opportunities so far was the first ever women's Royal Rumble match for a number of reasons.

One of the main reasons the match was so good was because a number of former stars who paved the way for today's wrestlers returned for it. Superstars like Lita, Trish Stratus, Molly Holly and Beth Phoenix just to name a few. That meant clashes inside the ring unlike any we thought we'd ever see such as the aforementioned Phoenix coming up against Nia Jax and Lita taking on Becky Lynch.

Even though Stratus entered the match last she still had her fair share of dream confrontations and it seems that the WWE Hall Of Famer has been re-bitten by the pro wrestling bug. Recently her web team put together a list of five dream WrestleMania opponents for the seven time Women's Champion on trishstratus.com and it makes for some very interesting reading.

The five women who made the list are Lita, the best friends have surprisingly never gone one on one at WrestleMania, Natalya, Sasha Banks, Stephanie McMahon and Alexa Bliss. Stratus has already made it pretty clear that she would like to take on Bliss for the Raw Women's Title but so far the fan favorite is The Boss. Banks actually replied to the tweet from Stratus by simply saying 'wrestle me'.

What pretty much every woman who returned at the Royal Rumble proved is that they could probably come back for a few more dream matches. The likes of Stratus and Michelle McCool still look in incredible shape and could definitely hold their own against the likes of Banks, Bayley and Charlotte Flair. There is every chance we could see a few of them again during this Sunday's WrestleMania battle royal and perhaps a few of them will stick around this time.
