Brock Lesnar always receives a big-named opponent at WrestleMania, but WWE may really turn it up a notch for the Beast Incarnate in 2020.

Lesnar defeated former UFC rival Cain Velasquez at Crown Jewel to retain his WWE Championship. One month later, Lesnar managed to hold off a determined Rey Mysterio at Survivor Series. So who's next in line for the WWE Champion?

According to Alex McCarthy of talkSport.com, WWE has a pair of major opponents in mind for Lesnar. One includes a "rubber match" against Velasquez - who defeated Lesnar at UFC 121.

The other possibility is Lesnar vs. Tyson Fury, who debuted for WWE at Crown Jewel - where he defeated Braun Strowman via countout. McCarthy reported that if Fury can defeat Deontay Wilder and thus become the new WBC heavyweight champion, this could set up a showdown with Lesnar.

As McCarthy put it, the chance "of having a boxing world champion face Lesnar is expected to be too much for Vince McMahon."

Interestingly, McCarthy also noted that 2020 Royal Rumble favorite Roman Reigns is expected to face Universal Champion at WrestleMania 36, whom the Big Dog will likely defeat.

Brock Lesnar Vs. Kofi Kingston

Prior to facing Velasquez and Mysterio, Lesnar defeated Kofi Kingston on the Oct. 4 episode of SmackDown Live to become the new WWE Champion. He had previously clashed with Seth Rollins, whom Lesnar dropped the Universal Championship to on a pair of occasions - at WrestleMania 35 and later SummerSlam.

On top of that, Lesnar has also squared off against Reigns, AJ Styles, Braun Strowman, Daniel Bryan, John Cena and Undertaker. Bray Wyatt is the last major opponent that Lesnar hasn't faced yet, but that won't happen any time soon since they're both major champions on opposite brands.

Both Would Be Money-Making Showdowns

Money always talks to Vince McMahon and WWE. If you place Lesnar against Velasquez or Fury, both would be bring in large amounts of cash. These are three of the most marketed athletes in the world, and both Velasquez and Fury are logical candidates to defeat Lesnar. We'll just have to see how things play out over the next few months, but Lesnar's next bout at WrestleMania promises to be something epic.
