Peeling back the curtain to showcase Mark Calloway, the man behind the Deadman to reveal more about him than ever before. It was a truly astonishing episode that really gave fans a brilliant insight into The Undertaker, and within this list we will reveal 10 things we learned from episode one.

10 The Respect He Commands

Everyone always talks about The Undertaker as a locker room leader and someone who everyone respects. However, there's a difference between hearing about it and seeing it, and this documentary did a fantastic job of doing just that.

Every single time Undertaker walked into a room, everyone around was clearly desperate to talk with him and learn from him. The respect people have for him is obvious, from young talents all the way up to fellow legends.

9 How Others Feel About Wrestling Him At WrestleMania

Speaking of the respect that people have for him, that was also clear when several of his opponents spoke about wrestling him at WrestleMania. Both Edge and Batista spoke very openly about how big of a deal it was to face him.

It was clear that The Undertaker only trusts certain individuals with a WrestleMania match and Edge and Batista openly admitted how much of an honor it is to get that match.

8 Wanting To Put On Good Matches

The Undertaker spoke openly throughout the documentary, which is why fans have enjoyed it so much. He discussed the fact that he could easily just turn up, hit one move and leave, but he isn't willing to do that.

It was clear that he has far too much pride in himself and the work he has done throughout his career. He stated that if he wrestles, he is going to do his best to put on something that is memorable, which is why he is so well-respected.

7 His Constant Pain

While it has been clear for several years that The Undertaker has suffered from injuries and pain in his hips, nobody ever knew to what extent. However, seeing him constantly limping around, requiring injections before his matches shows just how bad the situation was.

It was fascinating to really see how much effort The Undertaker puts in for the fans. Gritting his teeth to get on with things with a 'business as usual' approach was truly incredible, and deserves respect.

6 Not Cutting Out AEW Talent

While this note had nothing to do with The Undertaker, it was certainly interesting that WWE didn't remove Chris Jericho or Jim Ross from the documentary. While it was filmed when both of them were under contract, they have both since moved on to AEW.

Neither of them has been mentioned at other times on the WWE Network, and therefore it is a surprise to see them on the documentary, especially since they didn't have a huge role.

5 Not Being Ready For Roman

The Undertaker spoke about his appearance in the Royal Rumble match heading into WrestleMania 33 to start his feud with Roman Reigns. He was bluntly honest with himself by stating that he knew at that point he wasn't ready to face him.

Listening to him speak so openly about the situation was a major surprise as The Deadman is someone who everyone expects to have a lot of confidence.

4 Roman Sitting Under The Learning Tree

Speaking of Roman Reigns, the video at the Hall Of Fame was a very important part of this documentary. The Undertaker spoke openly about having a lot of respect for Roman, but it was clear just how highly the Big Dog thought of him.

Roman went out of his way to introduce the Deadman to his wife and sat under the learning tree, having a detailed conversation with him which was fascinating to watch.

3 Triple H's Pep Talk

One brilliant clip that the documentary showed saw Triple H go up to talk to The Undertaker prior to his WrestleMania match with Bray Wyatt. 'Taker's confidence was rocked following his concussion against Brock Lesnar and only Triple H seemed to notice.

He actually told 'Taker to "remember who the **** you are," which is staggering to think about considering he is such a legend of the industry. However, Undertaker admitted he needed that at that point.

2 Vince Left WrestleMania 30

During the episode, there was a focus on The Undertaker's match with Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 30. He admitted he was concussed and couldn't remember anything from 3:00 pm that day, forgetting his name and more details.

He was immediately rushed to the hospital, and despite the fact the show was still going on, it was revealed that Vince McMahon left the show to be at the hospital with him, with Brock Lesnar also going with him to the hospital, showing how much they both cared.

1 He Was Going To Retire After WrestleMania 33

This first episode focused heavily on his WrestleMania 33 match with Roman Reigns, which at the time many felt was going to be his last match. Considering how The Undertaker was talking after the match, it was fairly clear that this was his mindset.

The Deadman and Michelle McCool both spoke about it being the end for him, and while that obviously wasn't the case in the end, it was certainly interesting to see how he was thinking at that point in time.
