For those that are wondering if The Undertaker will ever be back, your questions have been answered, at least a little bit. While there's still a possibility the current storyline involving Kane could lead to something with "The Deadman", WWE has announced with certainty that The Undertake will be returning to Raw for their 25th Anniversary show in January 2018.
WWE.com announced the return:
"As first reported by The New York Post, the 25th anniversary of Monday Night Raw will emanate from Barclays Center and Manhattan Center in New York City on Monday, Jan. 22, 2018... Superstars from both Monday Night Raw and SmackDown LIVE will be at Barclays Center, while the event at Manhattan Center, the site of the first episode of Raw, will feature WWE Superstars competing, plus special appearances by WWE Legends The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels and Kevin Nash, among others."
The WWE has also announced a special VIP meet-and-greet with a WWE Legend and the show itself is sure to be a stacked one with returns, surprises, and legends that have made Raw special over the last 25 years.
Expect the show to be full of memorable looks at the past history of Raw and potentially some huge matches, giving the episode with the red brand a WrestleMania-like feel to the show. There is no word yet on if the brands will be mixed for one night, but fans should not rule out that possibility.
Whether or not The Undertaker is involved in a match is also completely up in the air. It may be an opportunity for the WWE to announce his entry into this year's class of the Hall of Fame and it may signal a return to the ring for "The Phenom" setting the stage of a WrestleMania match.
