During the premiere episode of Broken Skull Sessions with Steve Austin, The Undertaker revealed something about his WrestleMania 30 match few people knew and many would be shocked to learn.

Austin’s first guest was Mark Calloway, (The Undertaker) and while two of the biggest stars in the history of wrestling spoke about a variety of topics, Austin finally got to what a number of fans were probably hoping to learn more about — the decision to end The Undertaker’s WrestleMania streak.

Undertaker didn’t actually give his opinion or share his feelings about taking the loss and ending the streak but he did change the direction of the conversation in a hurry by dropping a behind-the-scenes bombshell few, if any people knew.

”What most people don’t know is that I got concussed during that match... I don’t remember anything about that night.” That piece of information floored Austin who said he had no idea. Undertaker went on to add that the last thing he remembers takes place about 3:30 pm that afternoon. He doesn’t recall his pre-match prep, the match itself or anything afterwards until about 4:30 am at the hospital when nurses were asking for his name and if he knew where he was.

Taker has seen the match so he knows what happened but no matter how many times he watches it back, he still can’t pinpoint when the concussion took place. He knows it wasn’t Brock Lesnar’s fault but from that point on, he knew his career was on borrowed time.

That Night Shook The Undertaker

He stated for a man that had decades worth of wrestling under his belt, he’d seen it all and never figured he’d be shaken by something that happened during a match. Yet, from that match on, he knew every match that happened after would come one at a time.

The Undertaker says it’s all about the personal challenge in every match he’s willing to do now but he’s well aware more matches are much farther behind him than they are ahead.
