The Brothers Of Destruction might be a fantastic tag team, but they are even greater rivals. Throughout their careers, The Undertaker and Kane have had some classic feuds and tons of major matches.

Kane and Undertaker are incredible athletic for their size and that means that their matches have always been of good quality. Of course, due to the fact they wrestled so many times they inevitably had some poor matches as well, but their rivalry did become iconic.

Whether it be battling at WrestleMania or a multi-man match on Raw, the two men have competed in stipulations and for titles. Within this list, we will break down their feud, ranking their five best and worst matches against each other.

10 Best: Hell In A Cell (2010)

We kickstart this list with a stipulation both men know very well, Hell in a Cell. Kane and The Undertaker were locked inside this structure in 2010 in a match that showcased storytelling wrestling at its best.

This is something both men excel in, the ability to tell a story with the art of wrestling. With Paul Bearer and the urn being part of the match as well, it really did a fine job in that department.

While they were both starting to slow down in the ring, neither had past their peak just yet either. This meant they were still able to go at a high level in what turned out to be a very competitive match.

9 Worst: Six-Man Tag (2001)

Six-man tag team matches always have the potential to be messy, and this match from SmackDown was exactly that. Kane teamed up with Rikishi and Stone Cold to take on The Undertaker, Kurt Angle and The Rock here.

While it was an incredibly star-studded match, there was just far too much going on for this to ever be considered great. When you add Triple H as the referee to the mix, shenanigans were always going to happen.

Given that the match was only given 10 minutes, they were never going to be able to put on a classic. With very limited time for each man in the ring, this turned into an overbooked mess of a match.

8 Best: Fatal Four Way (2000)

The main event of Unforgiven 2000 saw an incredible fatal four-way match take place as The Undertaker battled Kane, The Rock, and Chris Benoit. Due to the latter, WWE doesn't talk about this match, but it really was great.

Just looking at the star power involved, you know that it is going to be something special. Add in the fact it is for the WWF Championship and it creates a match full of incredible action and significance.

All four men were at their best here, and with fans having different favorites, it really did create a tremendous atmosphere. With Kane and Undertaker being the heavy hitters, they were utilized in such a way but mixed with other styles in the match it worked excellently.

7 Worst: Buried Alive (2010)

This Buried Alive match is their most recent against each other, and it is also one of the worst. The 2010 bout between them brought an end to their rivalry and should have set up at WrestleMania match as well.

After a rather lengthy match that saw the two men do an awful lot of brawling and very little in the way of wrestling, things ended via an interference. Nexus appeared out of nowhere and attacked Undertaker, helping Kane get the win.

This was meant to set up 'Taker vs Wade Barrett at WrestleMania that year, but it never happened. Had that match happened, then this might have made more sense, but in the end, it was just a pointless finish to a dull match.

6 Best: Inferno Match (Unforgiven 1998)

Another historic match from the brother's feud saw the two men compete in the first-ever Inferno match in WWE. While this match was great simply because of the gimmick, it was tremendous because of the tension that it created throughout.

Fans weren't sure what was going to happen as the flames surrounded the ring. Every time either man went close to them there was a gasp from them as they weren't sure whether someone would actually get burnt.

This is one of the best matches of each man's career as they did a perfect job building up the match. Taking their time to get to the finish, they did a brilliant job with the limitations of an Inferno match, while also making the most out of its advantages.

5 Worst: Handicap Match (1999)

With a match length of fewer than three minutes, the Monday Night Raw handicap that saw Kane take on Big Show and The Undertaker was always going to be poor.

It's a match that nobody remembers, because it was more of an angle than a wrestling match, with Kane somehow picking up the win here. However, WWE could have done a lot more with this than they did.

Simply having the match last a little longer would have been a good start. But, the Attitude Era was full of these quick matches, which is why it isn't remembered for classic in-ring bouts.

4 Best: SummerSlam 1999

When you think about Kane and Undertaker in tag team wrestling, you instantly picture them together as the Brothers of Destruction. However, they did spend plenty of time teaming with other wrestlers during their careers.

This match from SummerSlam 1999 is a perfect example of that. With Kane teaming with X-Pac to defend the WWF Tag Team Titles against Undertaker and Big Show, which was very entertaining.

Big Show and Undertaker did capture the titles here, but it was Kane and X-Pac who were the fan favorites. With a very entertaining back and forth match, they proved just how strong they were outside of singles competition.

3 Worst: WrestleMania XX

Kane and The Undertaker have competed at WrestleMania twice throughout their careers. One time, they had a fantastic bout, the other time was underwhelming, to say the least. The two men didn't have any storyline heading into this one, and it really hurt things.

The Undertaker had been gone for several months leading up to this moment, and WrestleMania XX was his major return. While it was cool to see the Deadman come back on the Grandest Stage Of Them All, that didn't stop the match being poor.

They only competed for just over six minutes, giving them barely any time to construct an entertaining match. This was really just a glorified squash match to help put the Deadman over on his return, making it rather forgettable.

2 Best: WrestleMania XIV

While they had wrestled before, this was the first time that they did so with these gimmicks. It was the first and the best as Kane and The Undertaker went to battle at WrestleMania XIV.

WWE did an amazing job at building this match up, with this being one of the show's headline bouts and Kane's first major match in general. While it isn't a technical classic, the sheer storytelling involved makes this special.

Undertaker had vowed never to fight his brother (that went well), and nobody knew what to expect when they finally competed. In the end, the Deadman came out on top in what is a great match with the two men really showing their disdain for each other.

1 Worst: Casket Match (1998)

You would think that a casket match between Kane and The Undertaker would be amazing, wouldn't you? However, their Monday Night Raw match just so happened to be one of the worst they ever had.

Not only was it one of their worst, but it was also one of the worst casket matches ever. This stipulation doesn't normally create classics, but they do normally last for a while as the tension builds.

However, Kane and Undertaker's bout lasted for less than five minutes. It was almost pointless having the stipulation at all in what was a quick brawl that should never have used the stipulation, ending in a no-contest.
