The Undertaker has been competing at Survivor Series for three decades now, and it's safe to say that no other wrestler comes anywhere close to matching his rich history at the event.

We haven't seen Undertaker appear at Survivor Series much over the years, as he only wrestles a handful of matches annually. But as Survivor Series 2019 draws closer, it's a fun time to take a look at the best (and the worst) moments of his career on the stage here.

So let's take a trip down memory lane and reflect on Undertaker's five best Survivor Series bouts, as well as the five most disappointing matches.

10 10. Best: Team Alliance vs. Team WWE (2001)

The Invasion storyline saw the Alliance (made up of WCW friends and loyalists) go up against Team WWF in a 5-on-5 elimination tag match in the main event of Survivor Series 2001. Undertaker fought on behalf of Team WWF, working alongside Kane, Big Show, The Rock and Chris Jericho.

This was a superb and memorable match that was loaded with future Hall of Fame talents, and it brought a nice closure to the otherwise disappointing Invasion storyline. Angle managed to eliminate 'Taker from the match, but it was Team WWE who came away with the victory.

9 9. Worst: Brothers of Destruction Vs. Wyatt Family (2015)

The Undertaker was attacked by The Wyatt Family after he lost to Brock Lesnar at the 2015 Survivor Series pay-per-view. But storyline half-brother Kane joined forces with The Deadman, thus reuniting the legendary Brothers of Destruction stable.

Kane and Undertaker went up against Luke Harper and Bray Wyatt, and though it was a nice play on nostalgia and all, the match itself wasn't great in quality. Undertaker and Kane were (and still are) merely part-time talents at this stage, and it was pretty obvious that they would win.

Take away the whole nostalgic factor, and this match wasn't anything special.

8 8. Best: Vs. Vince McMahon (2003)

Undertaker and Mr. McMahon rekindled their rivalry in a buried alive match at the 2003 Survivor Series pay-per-view. The whole buildup and execution was nothing short of tremendous, even if Vince wasn't quite as skilled in the ring as Undertaker (duh).

The Deadman was about to put the WWE chairman away, but Kane emerged out of nowhere and attacked his half-brother. A defenseless Undertaker was then forced into the grave, and Kane "buried" him to help Vince come away with an unlikely victory.

This was a match for the ages - and the conclusion made it all the more memorable.

7 7. Worst: Vs. The Rock (1998)

A tournament was held throughout Survivor Series 1998 to determine the new WWE Champion. The Undertaker had defeated Kane in their quarter-final showdown, so the former advanced to the semi-finals to take on The Rock.

This could have been the match of the night, had it not been for an unclean finish. Kane interfered and chokeslammed The Rock, giving the People's Champion the victory by default - and costing Undertaker a chance at the title.

The Rock would go on to defeat Mankind in the tournament final to become the new WWE Champion.

6 6. Best: Vs. Chris Jericho & Big Show (2009)

Chris Jericho and Big Show were the Unified Tag Team Champions, and they were both pitted in a triple threat match against The Undertaker for his World Heavyweight Championship. Obviously, the odds were against The Deadman here.

This actually turned out to be a superb match between the three wrestling legends, with a dramatic ending. Jericho was about to execute the Tombstone Piledriver on Undertaker, but Big Show foiled the attempt. The latter was about to put away The Deadman, until he fought back and got Big Show to tap out to the Hell's Gate submission hold to retain his title.

5 5. Worst: Vs. Mr. Kennedy (2006)

The Undertaker faced Mr. Kennedy in a first blood match at Survivor Series 2006. On paper, this looked to be a solid mid-card bout on what turned out to be a pretty disappointing show.

But MVP interfered and helped Mr. Kennedy conceal his blood, which the referee didn't see. MVP then attacked Undertaker with a steel chair, which caused him to bleed - thus clinching the match for Mr. Kennedy.

Nothing to see here. It was a lackluster match with a terrible finish. Simple as that.

4 4. Best: Vs. Kurt Angle (Survivor Series 2000)

Since the Triple H and Steve Austin main event match turned out to be quite the disappointment, it's easy to look back and wonder why Angle vs. Undertaker didn't end up closing out the show.

This match featured two of WWE's top main event talents and premier in-ring performers. The Olympic gold medalist and The Phenom duked it out for 16 minutes, with the WWE Championship on the line. Angle was able to come away victorious with a roll-up pin, thus retaining his title.

3 3. Worst: Vs. Hulk Hogan (1991)

Survivor Series 1991 itself was far from a spectacular show, and even Hulk Hogan and The Undertaker were unable to save it.

This looked like a promising match on paper. It featured the biggest face in the wrestling business against one of the top up-and-coming talents, with the World Heavyweight Championship on the line.

But there simply wasn't a lot to like about this match. The in-ring chemistry just wasn't there, and it didn't come anywhere close to living up to expectations. The victory may have marked one of the more defining moments of Undertaker's career, but it simply wasn't that great of a showdown in the ring.

2 2. Best: Vs. Batista (2007)

Batista and The Undertaker had one of the top feuds of the Ruthless Aggression Era, and one of their finest moments took place in the main event of the 2007 Survivor Series pay-per-view. It was a Hell-in-a-Cell match with the World Heavyweight Championship on the line.

The two merciless and destructive superstars traded vicious blows throughout the contest, and Undertaker was about to come away with the victory. However, Edge interfered out of nowhere and attacked The Deadman, helping Batista come away with the pinfall victory.

This led to an epic three-way feud between Edge, Batista, and Undertaker for the World Heavyweight title. And it all began here at Survivor Series in what turned out to be one of the top main pay-per-view main events in recent memory.

1 1.Worst: Vs. Yokozuna (1994)

This is regarded by many to be one of the more disappointing Survivor Series pay-per-views in history. There were only five matches on the card - three of them being anti-climatic elimination tag team matches. And don't get us started with the Bob Backlund-Bret Hart match.

Undertaker vs. Yokozuna was the last hope at salvaging the night, but they couldn't do much to save it. It was a casket match with the legendary Chuck Norris acting as the special guest referee.

Norris was able to fight off an interfering Jeff Jarrett, which helped Undertaker put Yokozuna in the casket to win the match. These superstars couldn't take all the blame for a bad show, but the Yokozuna-Undertaker bout didn't help matters, either.
