Wrestlers are going public with their relationships in the business now more often than any other time in wrestling history. Past eras used to see management of big promotions try to talk the wrestlers out of getting involved with each other. Jim Ross admits today that it was one of his biggest hints of advice to wrestlers joining WWE. Various high-profile breakups and stints of drama have circulated to show why many people within the industry feel this way. However, the unique schedule and lifestyle of wrestling will make it hard for those in the business to date people with normal jobs.

All this leads to couples being official in WWE. John Cena and Nikki Bella recently announced their breakup to shock the wrestling world, but there plenty of couples looking to replace them as the biggest relationship in wrestling. Even promotions outside of WWE will see wrestlers meet each other and gradually fall in love due to spending all that time together. We will look at romances that are currently taking place all over the wrestling world. These are eight real-life relationships in WWE flying under the radar along with another seven taking place elsewhere in the wrestling industry.

15 WWE: Finn Balor and Cathy Kelley

One of the biggest romantic mysteries in WWE featured fans speculating whether Finn Balor and Cathy Kelley were dating. Fans started discussing it when both Balor and Kelley were sharing social media posts from the same locations. Both live in New York and have been spotted together hanging out in person. While it seemed likely they were dating, neither were making it official on social media.

This all ended when Finn and Cathy decided to attend the Hall of Fame as dates. Both good looking talents were seated together confirming all the rumors of them being an item. Balor seemed to soak in his first true WrestleMania experience from loving the Hall of Fame with his girlfriend to having a memorable entrance before an awesome WM opener. The duo of Finn and Cathy provides one of the most likable wrestling couples going today.

14 Outside WWE: Delirious and Mandy Leon

Ring of Honor has seen the Women of Honor division become a part of the product this year. The new Woman of Honor Championship is the company’s message that they will be adding more importance to the division. Mandy Leon is one of the top stars of the division and has been a part of the ROH product over the past few years. An unusual dynamic has her dating the ROH booker Hunter Johnson.

Most people known Hunter for his former in-ring character of Delirious. Mandy and Delirious started dating a few years ago leading to some controversy regarding a booker dating a talent. Leon has been given a big opportunity to be one of the fixtures in the women’s division, but she luckily did not win the vacant title. A historic title win for Mandy would have had many wondering the booking was fair.

13 WWE: Mandy Rose and Tino Sabbatelli

The WWE Hall of Fame will reveal many new couples. Between the red-carpet pre-show event and the seating arrangements, wrestlers tend to bring their spouse or love interest as a date. This recent Hall of Fame event saw Mandy Rose finally reveal her new boyfriend. It turned out that NXT talent Tino Sabbatelli is the new love interest of Rose.

Prior rumors indicated that Otis Dozovic claim that he was engaged to Rose, but it was just a social media bit he was messing around with. Mandy revealed in a podcast interview with Lilian Garcia that her prior engagement with her longtime boyfriend before WWE ended in 2017. She actually broke down in tears discussing it before sharing that she was seeing someone else. The Hall of Fame showed us that Tino is the boyfriend Mandy was referring to.

12 Outside WWE: Jack Swagger and Catalina White

Jack Swagger is a former World Champion in WWE, but he doesn’t have too many standout moments from his long run there. The work of Swagger often failed to live up to the expectations of WWE whenever he received a big or small push. Swagger was eventually sick of being left off the show and the two sides agreed to his release in 2017.

Life after WWE has been great for Swagger. Not only is he working towards his MMA debut for Bellator, but he was able to continue making a living on the independent wrestling circuit. Swagger brought his stunning wife Catalina White to the show as a manager and they are enjoying working together. Catalina appears to be a natural and she is now getting to enjoy the wrestling aspect of Swagger’s life.

11 WWE: Bray Wyatt and Jojo

One of the most surprising relationships to start in WWE over the past year sees Bray Wyatt dating Jojo. It turned into a scandal when Wyatt’s ex-wife filed for divorce. She revealed that Bray was cheating on her with Jojo. The story grew even bigger when it was revealed that Wyatt officially started dating Jojo shortly once his ex-wife filed for the divorce.

Bray would get into more hot water during the divorce hearings. His ex-wife claims that Wyatt spent money on bizarre items such as expensive jewelry for Jojo while missing his child support payments. Offerman and Bray appear to be public with their romance now that it is out in the open. They get to spend their weekends together as both currently work for the Raw brand.

10 Outside WWE: Allie and Braxton Sutter

Impact Wrestling signed both Allie and Braxton Sutter after their impressive runs on the independent circuit. Both worked together as a great heel couple in various smaller companies before getting signed to Impact. Allie started a new character as an overly innocent person trying to survive in the wrestling world. Impact eventually brought them together as the culmination of a long story leading to Allie finally finding happiness.

Their on-screen romance recently ended with Sutter turning heel. Despite no longer dating on Impact, they are still very much together in real life. The couple is ecstatic about being able to work for the same company and have the same schedule. Not only do they have a home life together, but the travel is easier when working with your spouse.

9 WWE: Tye Dillinger and Peyton Royce

A relationship to fly under the radar in WWE sees Tye Dillinger dating Peyton Royce. Both wrestlers spent a lot of time at the Performance Center and on NXT shows. Dillinger and Royce apparently started dating a few years ago after getting to know each other. The couple has been spotted together numerous times in their home of Florida.

Fate would see them both called up to the SmackDown brand today. Dillinger joined SmackDown a year ago after his time in NXT came to an end. Royce and her tag team partner Billie Kay also became part of the blue brand when attacking Charlotte Flair on the SmackDown leading to Carmella cashing in to win the title. Dillinger posted a message on Twitter about how proud he was to see Royce make her main roster debut.

8 Outside WWE: Sami Callihan and Jessica Havok

An unlikely couple outside of WWE sees Sami Callihan and Jessica Havok dating. Both wrestlers have been on the independent circuit for many years trying to make names for their careers. Callihan had a short run with WWE and Havok had a short run with Impact Wrestling as their top moments in wrestling. They have been dating for many years now and are still together today.

Havok had a chance at joining Callihan in NXT a few years ago during the WWE tryouts. Fans found old tweets of racist comments by Havok leading to it becoming a huge story while she was trying to impress WWE. Callihan has since left NXT and is trying to become the more controversial one in his relationship. A recent stunt gone wrong with Sami injuring Eddie Edwards has seen him try very hard to annoy fans and fellow wrestlers on social with arrogant tirades.

7 WWE: Cesaro and Sara Amato

A lesser known couple in WWE features one main roster talent dating someone behind the scenes. Former independent wrestling star Sara Del Rey joined WWE for a training role at the Performance Center. Charlotte Flair, Carmella and Bayley are just a few of the current stars to discuss their joy of learning from Sara. The real life of Sara Amato has her helping at the Performance Center as well as producing backstage for Raw and SmackDown.

Despite not being talent, Sara is clearly a respected member of the WWE family today. Her relationship with Cesaro makes it even more practical that they both work for the same company. Sara previously managed Cesaro and Kassius Ohno during their Ring of Honor run as the Kings of Wrestling. The relationship started at some point then and is still going strong today.

6 Outside WWE: Veda Scott and Mike Bailey

One of the most endearing couples outside of WWE features two likeable independent wrestling personalities. Canadian wrestling standout ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey is dating Veda Scott. Most remember Scott for her time in Ring of Honor as a heel manager. Bailey was a standout performer for PWG but getting caught illegally trying to get into the United States for his booking.

The career of Bailey sees him a few years away from being allowed to wrestle in the States again. Veda and Speedball spend most of their time together at international shows taking bookings on worldwide independent wrestling shows. They seem to be very much in love based on their social media posts over the past year. Once Bailey is allowed back into the U.S. wrestling circles, we may see a new inter-gender tag team taking over the scene.

5 WWE: Sarah Logan and Ray Rowe

The story of Sarah Logan and Ray Rowe feature two independent wrestlers that were dating and each found their way to WWE. Logan was a fixture in the Midwest scene before landing a Performance Center contract. Her stint in NXT was shorter than most with her moving to the main roster in a stable with Ruby Riott and Liv Morgan in the Riott Squad.

Rowe joined WWE a little later as one of the new signings early this year. The tag team of Rowe and Hanson achieved success in New Japan and Ring of Honor as War Machine. NXT now hosts the tag team under the new name of War Raiders. It is two dreams come true for Logan and Rowe to join WWE, but they are there together living their best possible life.

4 Outside WWE: John Morrison and Taya Valkyrie

John Morrison is remembered for his relationship with Melina to most WWE fans. However, a lot has changed for Morrison since he left WWE to start the next chapter of his life. Morrison started his acting career but still makes his living as a successful professional wrestler for Lucha Underground and Impact Wrestling. Under the names of Johnny Mundo and Johnny Impact, he is one of the most successful wrestlers outside of WWE today.

Morrison met his future wife at Lucha Underground when working with former AAA talent Taya Valkyrie. Taya was initially the manager of Johnny and it led to them growing close together. Morrison proposed to Valkyrie last year and they are engaged today. A recent interview saw Johnny reveal that The Miz will be part of his wedding party at some point this year.

3 WWE: Wesley Blake and Sara Lee

A surprising relationship to start in the Performance Center saw former Tough Enough winner Sara Lee date former NXT Tag Team Champion Wesley Blake. Most fans know that Blake’s tag team partner Buddy Murphy was involved in a relationship with top Raw star Alexa Bliss. It was a lesser known relationship that Blake and Sara have been an item since her early days at the PC.

Sara announced her pregnancy back in 2016 leading to the mutual agreement for WWE to release her from her contract. Lee was struggling to learn the art of wrestling and the time away from the ring made it a better move to just end the experiment. Blake and Lee welcomed their child Piper into the world back in May of 2017.

2 Outside WWE: Marty Scurll and Deonna Purrazzo

Marty Scurll and Deonna Purrazzo are two of the top independent wrestlers in the world right now. The role of Scrull as the ‘villain’ of Bullet Club has seen his career skyrocket. Scurll had the second best selling store on ProWrestlingTees selling more merchandise than Steve Austin, Chris Jericho and many other legends. There’s no arguing Marty is a top Superstar outside of WWE today.

Purrazzo is more than just the girlfriend of Scurll as she has a thriving career as well. The recent announcement of her being part of the All In card validates her even more as a top star for the women’s wrestling scene. Deonna and Marty have been public about their relationship since last year on social media. Both are wrestlers ROH wants to build around which is an ideal situation for them.

1 WWE: Montez Ford and Bianca Belair

Two talented NXT stars currently involved in a relationship are Montez Ford and Bianca Belair. The couple have been together for quite some time and announced their engagement last year. Both wrestlers are currently being showcased in NXT and have bright futures. Ford is one half of the Street Profits tag team with Angelo Dawkins as his tag team partner. They have a great chance to win tag gold in the current NXT landscape.

Belair has even more potential as one of the top women in the NXT division. Fans often give a huge reaction for her ponytail hair whip as a memorable move. WWE placed Bianca in the recent WrestleMania women’s battle royal showing they have faith in her progressing as a future Superstar. Both wrestlers are living their dream and traveling together with potential main roster runs coming sooner than later.
