Pulling a rib on Titus O'Neil came with serious legal consequences.

Titus O'Neil received the shock of his life, literally in 2015 due to a prank pulled on him by recently retired WWE superstar Paige. After receiving a shock from a cattle prod, Titus O'Neil became angry and he allegedly took his frustrations out on a cameraman named Donald Anderson. According to Donald Anderson, he was injured by O'Neil and filed a lawsuit against the WWE. Anderson originally sought $1.2 million in damages. Although the original lawsuit was filed in California, Anderson has filed a new lawsuit in Florida and is now seeking an additional $15,000 in damages, according to PWInsider.

Donald Anderson said that the WWE had a duty to protect him from harm when he did the job for Swerved back in May 2015. Paige was given a cattle prod and began to go after unwilling participants. She shocked a few people with the cattle prod, one being former WWE wrestler Neville. Paige eventually snuck up behind Titus O'Neil who was just strolling down what seemed like a hallway. Unbeknownst to O'Neil, Paige gives him a jolt on the back of the leg as a prank.

According to Danny Anderson who filmed the prank, Titus O'Neil became enraged. O'Neil allegedly took his anger out on the cameraman by running up to him and kicking a camera out of his hand, which Anderson claims that he sustained injuries to his wrist and fingers. The original lawsuit was filed in California in 2015 and Anderson said that he incurred injuries that resulted in a $150,000 medical bill. Anderson said that O'Neil "could not be controlled" and was ultimately instructed to vacate the premises.

Anderson is suing for a variety of things which includes emotional distress, willful misconduct, disfigurement, and loss of income. In the past, pranks, or ribs, were an art in the locker room, but now, it seems like those backstage need to be more careful. The WWE centered a program on pulling ribs and it resulted in the WWE having to change the format of the show from pulling ribs on wrestlers to pulling ribs on fans before Swerved was ultimately canned.
