It was a devastating piece of news when the legendary Bret Hart announced earlier this month that he had been diagnosed with prostate cancer. The Canadian icon announced last week that he had surgery to remove the cancer and said it was a success.

There is reportedly more good news in Hart's cancer battle. The Wrestling Observer has reported that Hart's surgery went even better than expected. It was so successful in fact, that Hart will not have to undergo any chemotherapy treatments. Hart had his entire prostate removed in the procedure and doctors are confident that the cancer has been contained. Hart will now be able to embark on his recovery without the painful procedures of chemo or radiation.

Hart is still going to be under close watch by doctors, but this certainly is a great piece of news for the Hart family and all of the Hitman's fans.
