Velveteen Dream wasted no time making his rivalry with Finn Balor very personal, dragging former WWE employee Cathy Kelley into the fold.

WWE's television shows returned to airing live this week, and that included NXT. That meant, after holding a couple of pre-taped matches intended for TakeOver, the black and gold brand could return to furthering its angles. Seems as if one of those angles will involve an eventual match between Velveteen Dream and Finn Balor.

Both men want their shot at NXT Champion Adam Cole, so it was inevitable that their paths would eventually cross. Dream suggested Cole has been NXT's greatest champion to date, something former champion Balor took great issue with. The pair will have a match on next week's NXT but in the meantime, Dream has been having a little fun on social media.

Dream posted a photo of himself alongside former WWE interviewer Cathy Kelley writing, "Queens R 4 Kings, not Princes." It was long rumored that Balor and Kelley were an item in WWE. However, the former Universal Champion is now with and engaged to someone else. There was also talk that after Kelley and Balor broke up, Dream dated her for a while, hence the very personal post by Dream.

This is starting to become a hallmark of Dream's feuds. The last Superstar the former North American Champion clashed with was Roderick Strong. During their rivalry, Dream had images of Strong's wife and son airbrushed onto his tights, suggesting in promos that he would be coming to take Marina Shafir from the Undisputed ERA member after he was finished with him in between the ropes.

The pic of him and Kelley isn't the only way Dream has tried to poke the Demon. Before that, he tweeted the top five things Balor wishes he has no memory of. Kelley was on there, along with the Raw logo, a pic of Finn as The Demon, and a shot of the Irishman the night he was forced to relinquish the Universal Title. By the time these two meet in the ring, tempers and emotions will be running high. Chances are we are in for quite the match.
