After months of speculation, it finally happened.

Samoa Joe made his WWE debut last night at NXT TakeOver: Unstoppable during the final moments of the program. The TNA and ROH legend confronted NXT Champion Kevin Owens, and the two had an intense staredown before the titleholder walked off. In the video above, Joe addressed the NXT crowd after the broadcast, reassuring everyone that he is still "pro-wrestling."

It is unclear if Joe has signed a full-time deal with the promotion, even though there were rumblings the heavyweight agreed to a two-year contract days before his debut. PW Insider reported Joe's stint in NXT is comparable to the one Rhyno is working, considering the former is still booked for a couple of dates on the independent circuit.

For what it's worth, WWE already has a Samoa Joe shirt up for sale.
