The Undertaker's career has spanned over three decades, and yet, there are still potential dream matches out there for him to have. That's the wonderful nature of professional wrestling, but in equal measure, there are also some fans who can't help but look ahead to when the Deadman will ride off into the sunset once and for all.

Regardless of whether you give a lot of thought to that or not, it's certainly something that is worth thinking about. Today, we're going to take a look at some of the many ways that this legendary figure can put a bow on his career.

10 RAW Speech

Monday Night RAW is the flagship show within WWE, and suggesting otherwise is a fool’s game.

That’s one of the primary reasons as to why so many legends have decided to retire on the show in the past. Ric Flair, Shawn Michaels, and Edge are the first that come to mind, and it’d be quite impactful to see The Phenom hang it up for good in front of the watching world.

You just know that episode would do some big numbers in terms of viewership, and WWE would love to rake that in.

9 Fade Into Darkness

It’s a pretty simple idea and its one that we imagine not a lot of people are going to like: but essentially, we’re suggesting that The Undertaker simply retires without even so much as a hint that it’s going to happen.

Some fans would argue that we deserve better, but in truth, we don’t buy into that. This man doesn’t owe us a thing and if nothing else, we are the ones that should be bowing down at his feet and worshipping the work he has done within this industry in the last 30+ years.

8 WrestleMania Main Event

Win or lose, the idea that Taker’s final moments in a wrestling ring would be on the grandest stage of them all just feels right.

Shawn Michaels is widely considered to be Mr. WrestleMania, but if there was going to be a close second, then the man who reached 21-0 at the showcase event certainly deserves that honor.

Taker and WrestleMania have gone hand in hand ever since he made his debut on the show, and one more time in the spotlight to close the night out would serve as one hell of a moment to remember.

7 Shoot Interview

This is a bit controversial but we’ve seen in the not so distant past that Taker is more than willing to do interviews out of character these days.

‘Shoot’ interviews are certainly blown out of proportion, but just imagine the kind of chaos that would ensure if The Deadman announced he was walking away on some kind of podcast.

If he was going to do this then the best way in which he could spin it into a positive would be by Stone Cold Steve Austin hosting the whole thing.

Seeing these two legends of Texas wrestling together once again just feels right.

6 Hall of Fame Ceremony

The Undertaker, or Mark Calaway as he would be known on this night, could serve as the headliner for the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony the night before WrestleMania. Then, at the very end of his speech, in the same manner, as WCW legend Sting, Taker would announce his retirement to the watching world.

If he’s going to give a speech then you’ve got to make sure this icon is given at least an hour, because there’s a lot we want to hear about after he had such a memorable career.

5 American Badass Rides Off

Everyone has long since been calling for the American Badass to make a return, and Taker himself has always spoken about how much he enjoyed the character. We don’t think it would make a whole lot of sense given that he’s best known for the actual Undertaker gimmick, but hey, if it’s what the people want, then it’s what the people should get.

Watching him ride off on that motorcycle one last time would certainly make for a great visual, and we all know that WWE loves themselves a good visual.

4 Brother vs Brother

Kane and The Undertaker have been intertwined for years upon years now, and rightly so, given that their ongoing storyline suggests that they are, in fact, the Brothers of Destruction.

Their feuds haven’t always been spectacular, but let’s face it, that doesn’t even matter at this stage.

Kane and Taker would go all out if they had one last chance to square off in the middle of the ring, and we are all in on it.

Just think about the emotion they could generate in these promos. It’s magical to even consider.

3 Survivor Series Special

He made his debut at Survivor Series 1990, and all these years later, he could end his career there.

It obviously makes more sense for WrestleMania to be the place where he calls it a day, but the option is out there and it’d definitely have a lot of symbolism behind it. If he wound up doing it at Survivor Series 2020, then the fact that it’d be 30 years since his WWE debut would make it even more special.

It goes without saying, really, but they’d have to promote the hell out of it in order to make this feel worth it.

2 The Fiend Strikes

The Undertaker has taken on Bray Wyatt on a few separate occasions over the years, including at the showcase of the immortals back in 2015. However, he’s never faced The Fiend.

This new character that Bray has created for himself is nothing short of remarkable, and he needs to get over in the biggest and best way imaginable.

If he is the man that puts Taker down once and for all, then that would have the kind of impact that would launch Bray into a whole new stratosphere of superstardom.

1 World Champion

He probably wouldn’t hold it for all too long and he may not even hold it beyond the night that he wins the belt itself, but seeing The Undertaker hold the WWE Championship one last time would be really, really special.

They say that all the big stars should go out on their back, but Taker has always been on a whole other level. The unique nature of his persona means that, in storyline, it’s never too hard to believe that he can overcome the odds and win the big one – even at this stage of his career.
