By the end of its run, WCW had titles changing hands almost weekly. For example, the year 2000 saw over a dozen World Champions and several vacancies. That doesn't even count the tag and midcard pieces of gold. You would think that meant plenty of the company's stars held multiple titles and were Triple Crown winners.

Interestingly, that's actually not the case. Throughout WCW's long history, only nine wrestlers managed to win the World, Tag Team, and United States championships during their careers. It is a pretty elite group of talented wrestlers. They're ranked here based on their importance to WCW and the quality of their title reigns and wins.

9 Bret Hart

If this list was based purely on how good a wrestler is, Bret Hart would rank much higher. However, everyone knows that "The Hitman's" tenure in WCW was far from the excellence fans were used to from him. He seemed to lack motivation, looked generally unhappy, and was a shell of his former self.

That being said, Hart did pick up some big wins with WCW. He won the United States Title a few times beginning in 1998. He took a break after his brother Owen's death but returned to have a more prominent role. Hart won the World Title at Mayhem 1999 in a tournament and then became Tag Team Champion the following month with Goldberg.

8 Chris Benoit

There's one thing about Chris Benoit's triple crown status that puts him above everyone else. He did it in the shortest amount of time from his first title win to the final one. It took Benoit under a year to pull off the feat.

It began in March of 1999, when Benoit won the Tag Team Titles alongside his good friend Dean Malenko. That got him started on an impressive run. Benoit then won the United States Title that August before adding the World Title to his resume in January of 2000. Of course, he then left WCW that same month.

7 Lex Luger

Although he had a cup of coffee for a few years with WWE, Lex Luger is most notably a star from WCW. His earliest successes and his final runs were with them. However, before his stint as the "Total Package" in the back half of the '90s, he was already a triple crown winner for WCW.

In the eyes of most, Luger was at his best from the late '80s until the early '90s. In 1987, he snagged a United States Title reign and was one of the better champions in that title's history. In 1988, he and Barry Windham captured the Tag Team Titles. Luger capped the triple crown by winning the WCW World Title in the summer of 1991.

6 Goldberg

While Chris Benoit had the shortest timeframe between winning his first and final title to complete the trilogy, Goldberg did it in the quickest time following his debut. He arrived on the scene in late 1997 and by the end of 1999, he had become a triple crown winner.

Goldberg started by winning the United States Championship in April of 1998. He famously became a double champion when he added the WCW World Title that July. However, it took a while longer to add tag team gold as that didn't happen until he teamed with Bret Hart in December of 1999.

5 Scott Steiner

People don't seem to mention it enough but Scott Steiner is one of the most decorated stars in WCW history. He won gold three in three different decades, which is something not many others can lay claim to.

Obviously, Steiner started his run with the Tag Team Titles in 1989 with his brother Rick. It took a decade for him to add another championship, winning the United States Title in April 1999. He capped the whole thing with the World Title, which he won in late 2000.

4 Booker T

Booker T had one of the more impressive rises to the top of the company. He started as a tag guy, branched out into singles competition, and then worked his way up to being a main event level talent. It took quite a while.

In 1995, Booker T captured the Tag Team Titles with his brother Stevie Ray as part of Harlem Heat. It wasn't until 2000 that Booker T had risen through the ranks to become World Champion at Bash at the Beach 2000. On WCW's final episode of Nitro, Booker became a double champion by earning the United States Title. He was the last triple crown winner.

3 Diamond Dallas Page

Diamond-Dallas-Page

An argument could be made that Diamond Dallas Page is WCW's best homegrown talent and its best babyface ever. He was always incredible as a good guy and had the crowd behind him. His rise to the top was very impressive and it led him to the triple crown.

DDP got it stated in late 1997 by winning the United States Title. After a strong 1998, he finally won the World Title in the spring of 1999, before adding a Tag Team Title reign a month later with Bam Bam Bigelow and Chris Kanyon. They were known as the Jersey Triad.

2 Sting

Sting as WCW World Champion

Sting is WCW. That's just a fact. He was also the company's third triple crown winner, completing the feat in 1996. For his entire career, Sting was a key part of whatever company he was in, especially in WCW.

In 1991, Sting became United States Champion and he went on to win the WCW Title in 1992. To be fair, he had already won the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Title in 1990, so that was technically first. Sting completed it all by joining with Lex Luger for a 1996 Tag Team Title run.

1 Ric Flair

If it involves accomplishments in WCW, there's a good chance that Ric Flair will top the list. The 16-time World Heavyweight Champion was also the first man to become a triple crown winner in WCW history.

Since the official WCW Title didn't begin until 1991, that was technically the last title he won. However, he was already a multi-time NWA Champion before that. Going back to 1976, Flair won the Tag Titles with Greg Valentine. In 1977, he added the United States Title. His first NWA Championship reign came in 1981.
