It was nearly twenty years ago that the WCW Invasion angle was tanking, nearly as fast as the original promotion was! To salvage it, WWE signed Tommy Dreamer and Rob Van Dam. They debuted on a raucous edition of Raw that paired the two ECW alum with the rest of their buddies and then with WCW to forge The Alliance.

While that didn’t work much better, several members of The Alliance went on to have decent WWE careers and lives beyond the company. Where are these members of The Alliance and what are they doing nowadays? Read on to find out.

10 Rob Van Dam

RVD

Rob Van Dam has consistently proven why the fans respect him so much and why he is "The Whole Dam Show." Since his days in ECW, Rob has consistently put on the best match of the night no matter who he was facing.

He has made several appearances in WWE since the Invasion, capturing the WWE and ECW titles in the process to help relaunch the brand. Nowadays, RVD is back at Impact Wrestling and still going strong. He’s a heel for the first time in a long time and hanging out with his girlfriend, fellow Impact star, Katie Forbes.

9 Billy Kidman

Throughout the late nineties, Billy Kidman was one of WCW’s best performers. Once he exited Raven’s Flock, he also became one of the most popular wrestlers they had. Kidman stayed with WCW until the doors closed, and headed for WWE and joined the Alliance.

After a stint on the Indy scene and TNA for a few years, Kidman headed back to WWE and stayed on as a trainer and an agent up until getting released earlier this year.

8 Lance Storm

When Lance Storm was competing, there was seldom a better wrestler on the card. That skill took him to the near top of the card in both ECW and WCW. In WWE, Storm had several decent partners and tag teams; but nothing to pop the town.

After he left the WWE, Storm had run one of the best Pro Wrestling Academy’s in the world. He recently worked as an agent for WWE, before getting furloughed due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.

7 Chuck Palumbo

In the latter years of WCW, Chuck Palumbo was being groomed to be a top tier talent. He certainly had the look and his skills were developing. In WWE, during the Invasion, Palumbo and Sean O’Haire were the WCW Tag Team Champions, before dropping them to Kane and The Undertaker.

His biggest claim to fame was his run with Billy Gunn. In 2014, he retired but also started his own show on the Discovery Channel - Lords Of The Car Hoards, which ran for a few seasons. Nowadays, he’s living a quiet life in the San Diego suburb of El Cajon.

6 The Hurricane

As part of 3 Count, Sugar Shane Helms tried very hard to rejuvenate the WCW Cruiserweight division. After the buyout, he quickly earned the respect of the WWE locker room and then found the fans’ adoration as The Hurricane.

After spending the better part of the 2000s in WWE, he spent most of the next decade in the indies and TNA. He returned to the WWE as a producer for several years, before departing this past April.

5 Ivory

Despite not having any ties to either WCW or ECW during their heydays, the former GLOW girl Ivory joined up with The Alliance as well. The savvy veteran was able to help rookies like Stacy Keibler and Torrie Wilson learn the ropes fairly quickly.

Once her Hall Of Fame career ended, Ivory has committed her life to helping animals. She has opened up No-Kill Shelters in Utah and grooming facilities as well.

4 Torrie Wilson

From Fitness Model to nWo Girl to David Flair’s girlfriend to a zany WWE career, Torrie Wilson was able to carve out a niche for herself on the way to becoming a Hall Of Famer.

No, she wasn’t the level of performer of the girls are nowadays. However, she was exactly what she needed to be and more. She has her own clothing line, dated A-Rod, and now is an online fitness blogger.

3 Stacy Keibler

With legs that should be at the Smithsonian one day, Stacy Keibler broke into the business as a winner of a Nitro Girls contest. But it was clear she was better suited to being a solo act.

During her career, she entertained in everything that she was asked to do and should one day join her bestie, Torrie Wilson in the Hall Of Fame. After being a part of Dancing With The Stars, she has been living the relatively low-key lifestyle of being a momma bear to two kids, alongside husband, Jared Pobre.

2 Molly Holly

After Macho Man had put in a good word for her, the former Miss Madness became Molly Holly in WWE. She came to the WWE before the buyout and made a name for herself as one of the Holly Cousins.

She still makes appearances to this day. Molly is one of the best wrestlers of her era and has a lot to offer as a trainer as The Academy, a school run by Ken Anderson and Shawn Davari.

1 William Regal

William Regal’s insides might be made of Teflon. He’s had his ups and downs personally that have affected him professionally. But he’s always been able to come out of it better. After his stint in WCW, he headed to WWE and made a name for himself there.

During the Invasion, he defected to become part of The Alliance as their Commissioner. He’s been with the company ever since and has been part of NXT as their General Manager, talent scout, and coach.
