The wrestling career of Brian Pillman saw him come before his time. Pillman delivered incredible character work and matches that fans would appreciate years later. Sadly, an early death saw him taken away from us all too early. His son Brian Pillman Jr. felt the most pain from this having to grow up without a father.

Despite losing his father, Pillman Jr. was able to fall in love with wrestling by watching his dad’s work back through the year. It inspired Brian Jr. to follow in his father’s path as he is currently attempting to become a professional wrestler.

Pillman Jr. is looking to make a name on the independent circuit. Steve Austin recently interacted with him on social media which got more eyes on his page. The son of Brian Pillman believes he can add to the family name and time will tell if he’s right.

The Steiner Brothers deserve to be mentioned when breaking down the all-time great tag teams, especially when looking at the WCW side of things. Both Rick and Scott worked together perfectly to add to the tag team division for many years. The intensity of the Steiner Brothers saw both men come off as legitimate tough guys in the ring you wouldn’t want to fight in real life.

Rick surprisingly has settled into a normal life after wrestling working as a real estate agent and spending his free time at home raising his family. The son of Rick is named Bronson Rechsteiner.

Bronson is currently playing college football for Kennesaw State University in his home state of Georgia. The NFL dreams of Bronson seem unlikely.

Maybe he will follow Rick’s path into wrestling when he graduates and is looking for a new career path.

The late Eddie Guerrero made his name in WCW as one of the best wrestlers in the Cruiserweight division. Despite never breaking out into a main event role, Eddie inspired many future wrestlers with his body of work in WCW. The career of Guerrero would take off to new heights in WWE and history rightfully remembers him as a legend.

Eddie’s daughter Shaul Guerrero tried to get into the family business when signing a developmental contract with WWE.

This was following her mother Vickie Guerrero becoming a successful heel personality on WWE television. The hope was for Shaul to join Vickie on television at some point, but she just couldn’t get the hang of it. Shaul has left the wrestling ring but is still involved in the business as the wife of SmackDown star Aiden English.

12 Dominic Gutierrez (Rey Mysterio)

Rey Mysterio was the most successful Cruiserweight star for WWE in the late 90s. The smaller size of Mysterio and the incredible in-ring skills allowed him to get over with the fans. Mysterio saw his momentum diminish when WCW decided to have him lose his mask as part of the stipulation in a match with Kevin Nash.

Today, Dominic is an adult and a giant compared to his dad. The desire of Dominic to enter the wrestling business could see him join WWE one day.

WCW going out of business ended up being the best thing to happen to Rey’s career. WWE hired him, and he became a Hall of Fame worthy performer for them. Rey’s young son Dominic was a part of a storyline showing the company even had faith to pay his son for an on-air role.

11 Jaclyn Jarrett (Jeff Jarrett)

via twitter.com/si.com

Jeff Jarrett had multiple stints in WCW and managed to hold the WCW Championship on multiple occasions. Following a bad falling out with WWE, Jarrett was a lost soul after WCW was sold to Vince McMahon. This led to him creating Impact Wrestling where he would meet his now wife Karen and start their controversial relationship.

Jaclyn Jarrett is the daughter of Jeff’s prior marriage. Some will recognize Jaclyn as she has been involved in a high profile acting gig. Jaclyn played the younger version of Taylor Swift in one of Swift’s music video.

Her other sisters also took part in the video, but Jaclyn had the biggest role playing the star of it. We will likely see Jaclyn once again when Jeff is inducted into the 2018 WWE Hall of Fame.

10 Tristen Nash (Kevin Nash)

via eonline.com

The success of Kevin Nash in WCW truly changed his career for the best. Due to a lackluster run as WWE Champion, the legacy of Nash in WWE is less impressive than one would think. The run of being an important part of the New World Order and moving into a main event level role each showed Nash could be a successful top guy. Nash’s family is still living well thanks to all the money he made during his lucrative career, especially in WCW.

Kevin son’s Tristen is hoping to become a music star in another form of entertainment than his old man thrived in.

A brutal real-life fight between father and son saw Tristen’s name in the news. Both Kevin and Tristen had blood spilled following the family fight that took place due to a few too many drinks and some volatile comments exchanged.

9 Dakota Runnels (Dustin Rhodes)

The WCW career of Dustin Rhodes saw him get started in the wrestling business long before his WWE run as Goldust. As the son of Dusty Rhodes, Dustin had a great connection to get in the doors and he had the talent to back it up. The work of Dustin allowed him to get established as a relevant name in the wrestling industry for WCW.

However, the Goldust character in WWE gave Dustin the biggest success of his career. The fact that he is still playing the character shows how great it is.

Dustin and ex-wife Terri Runnels were an item on WWE television and often referenced their daughter Dakota.

Many were unsure of the reality behind these comments at the time, but Dakota was really their child. The daughter of Dustin is active on social media and is very proud of her dad’s career.

8 Ryan Rood (Rick Rude)

via wwe.com/pinterest.com

Rick Rude is an all-time great that likely would have accomplished even more if he came along in a future era. The promos and matches of Rude are among the top highlights of any 80s or early 90s show watching it back today. Rick was a top tier heel for WCW in the early 90s having outstanding performances on a nightly basis. Unfortunately, Rude passed away at a young age and was unable to be celebrated later in his career for all he did.

WWE presented his family with the honor of Rick’s Hall of Fame induction. Rick’s son Ryan Rood was one of the loved ones to accept the ring.

Ryan looked rather impressive and likely could have had a chance to succeed in the wrestling business based on his size alone. Not everyone wants to follow in their dad’s path and Ryan did not pursuit wrestling.

7 Tessa Blanchard (Tully Blanchard)

via wikimediacommons.com

The career of Tully Blanchard saw his best days come as a member of the Four Horsemen. Along with Ric Flair and Arn Anderson, Tully was a fixture in the peak runs of the Horsemen in their first few incarnations. The tag team work of Blanchard and Anderson made them a superb tag team regardless of if they were in the Horsemen or not when teaming.

Tully’s daughter Tessa Blanchard is keeping the family name stronger than ever with her journey in the wrestling industry. The stunning Tessa is one of the top women’s wrestlers in the world right now traveling all over the world on the independent circuit.

Tessa’s potential is quite high, and many expect her to end up in WWE sooner than later. Time will tell if it happens, but Tessa has a shot to pass her dad’s legacy if she lives up to expectations.

6 Garett Bischoff (Eric Bischoff)

Impact Wrestling used the term unrecognizable family member to their advantage when using Eric Bischoff’s son in a storyline. Eric was running Impact hoping to find the same success he did when in charge of WCW during the early portion of the Monday Night Wars. The decisions of Bischoff saw WCW become the top promotion in the world before his magic ran out with mistakes dooming their future.

Garett Bischoff started working for Impact as a random referee with no references to his identity until about a year later. The reveal saw him become a face wrestler by revolting against his dad.

Impact tried to push him as a major star. Hulk Hogan even called him the future top star of Impact Wrestling. Fans reacted by booing him out of the building. Garett flopped in wrestling and has since left the industry.

5 Steve Borden Jr. (Sting)

via twitter.com

You can’t talk about anything WCW related without Sting being a part of the conversation. Sting was the one WCW legend to last the entire 90s decade without leaving for WWE at any time. The loyalty of Sting saw him stay away from WWE until the end of his career in 2015. Sting became the heart and soul of WCW as the homegrown top face to remain with them through it all.The recent retirement of Sting has allowed him to spend more time at home than during his active competitor days.

His son Steve Borden Jr. is an aspiring football player that has achieved success on the college level.

An NFL tryout saw him have his best shot at making it to the big stage. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like Borden Jr. will get signed by an NFL team any time soon. Maybe he’ll wear his dad’s crow face paint and mysteriously enter games until someone signs him.

4 Megan Fliehr (Ric Flair)

via bodyheightweight.com

The legendary career of Ric Flair saw him lead WCW in the years prior to the Monday Night Wars. Eric Bischoff forced Flair to take a backseat to names like Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage when they joined the company, but the fans always treated Flair as an equal to any star arriving. Flair’s iconic matches and promos will always be synonymous with the best of WCW. We know most of Ric’s children, especially his daughter Charlotte as she currently creates her own legacy as a huge WWE star. Ric’s sons David and Reid tried to enter the wrestling business like their dad.

The one child of Ric to never enter the wrestling business is daughter Megan Fliehr. She has been on television at various points when Ric’s flair attended events honoring him.

Megan is engaged to MLW podcast host Conrad Thompson as another connection to the wrestling world.

3 Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa (Meng)

via lastwordonprowrestling.com

Meng never achieved the same success as most other top WCW stars on this list, but none of those guys would want to face Meng in a real fight. The legacy of Meng is remembered as fondly for his backstage reputation as much as his work in the ring. Meng stood tall during countless bar fights following shows where fans tried to prove they were tougher than the talent. The toughness of Meng has continued in the form of his two sons.

Both Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa have found their way in New Japan as the Guerrillas of Destiny tag team. Tonga and Loa are three-time IWGP Tag Team Champions, current NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Champions and members of the Bullet Club.

Meng has made appearances in New Japan to have some fun with them, but he may still be the most intimidating member of the family.

2 Cody Hall (Scott Hall)

via wrestlinginc.com

The career of Scott Hall will likely be remembered more for what he did in WCW than WWE. Hall was the most important member of the New World Order starting since he set the tone with the first promos. If Hall did not execute this well, the group would not have had achieve success even with Hulk Hogan joining them. Hall managed to have a great run in WCW before personal demons got the best of him. Recent years have seen Scott clean up his act before time ran out on him. One positive change in his life is developing a closer bond to his son Cody Hall.

The desire of Cody to enter the wrestling business brought them closer together as Scott helped teach him some tricks.

Cody worked in New Japan for a short time before suffering an injury. It is unknown if Cody will return to the ring.

1 Brittany Page (Diamond Dallas Page)

via pinterest.com/instagram.com

Diamond Dallas Page’s rise in WCW became one of the most inspiring stories of the Monday Night Wars. WCW was only pushing established legends in the main event picture during this time. Page however worked his way to the top of the company by connecting with the fans. Management was forced to elevate DDP as he became a legitimate legend in the sport. The current life of Dallas has him running his DDP Yoga empire with the unique workout method paying off greatly for many that use it to get into shape.

DDP Yoga is what introduced us to his stunning daughter Brittany Page when she showed off some of the yoga poses in online videos.

Brittany is connected to another memorable athlete as the wife of former MLB pitcher Kris Benson. Recent pictures have showed her training in the ring with her dad meaning we could see her wrestling one day.
