Do you hear that? It’s the sounds of church bells off in the distance. It’s such a beautiful sound to hear unless you’re Tiger Woods. For one day, in theory, a couple brings all their friends and family together to celebrate their union. Food, music and the drunk uncle make this day a special occasion to billions of people around the world. Maybe if we want world peace, we need more weddings and fewer bombs.

The professional wrestling industry has always used the “family man” in their storylines. Such examples are Ric Flair versus Ricky “The Steamboat” Dragon and Rey Mysterio versus Eddie Guerrero. The storyline would follow the hero as he defends his family's honor against nefarious individual. Most characters in the WWE don’t have a family written into their storylines and it’s easy to think a wrestler isn’t married in real life.

More recently, we’ve seen WWE use marriage as a plotline in the feud of John Cena/Nikki Bella versus The Miz/Maryse at WrestleMania 33. It won’t be the last time that plotline is used, oh it’s true, it’s damn true. This list has WWE Superstars that you might not have thought were married. It may be because of their age, their character’s personalities, or you just don’t know about their private lives. Enjoy.

15 15. Karl Anderson

via reddit.com

Bullet Club fans might be extremely upset that the WWE hasn’t brought the band back together but when they do, and they will, it could either be epic or fall flat. Until then, the WWE Universe is just going to have to deal with Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows doing their own thing while Finn Balor tries to recapture the title he never lost, the Universal Championship.

Karl Anderson has had a hard and long road to the WWE. He would bounce around several promotions but really made his mark in New Japan Pro Wrestling. It would take him 14 years before he would get a shot at the WWE in 2016. Anderson has been known to use a hashtag to describe his wife on social media and what he says is true, oh it’s damn true.

14 14. Neville

via chicksinfo.com

The King of the Cruiserweight Division just got dethroned by Akira Tozawa and the entire kingdom is in chaos. We don’t know the end game of the Tozawa experiment but the ride has been one of the most interesting things to happen in WWE’s 205 Live Division. Neville would debut in the wrestling business in 2004 but didn’t get a chance to work for the WWE until 2012.

Although shorter than most of his colleagues, Neville stood out from the crowd and quickly became an NXT Champion. You can say 205 Live was made just for him and so far he has been the best thing about the Cruiserweights. In 2015, Neville would marry Natalie Satterley and the two have been coasting ever since. All hail the true King of the Cruiserweights!

13 13. Luke Gallows

via twitter.com

We couldn’t leave out the other member of the baldies on this list. Second chances can be rare in the wrestling industry but you wouldn’t know that if you followed Gallows’ career. The towering heavyweight signed with the WWE in 2005 and was in their developmental program. He would reach the big leagues as an impostor of Kane in 2006. He would eventually get his own gimmick as Festus and become a member of Straight Edge Society.

Gallows would leave the WWE in 2010 and hone his craft on the indie circuit. He found his calling in New Japan Pro Wrestling and would be welcomed back to the WWE in 2016. The big guy would marry indie talent Amber O’Neal in 2014 and the two have been together ever since. The rumor mill has indicated the relationship has seen some turmoil, however a split has not been confirmed by either.

12 12. Kalisto

via chicksinfo.com

Lucha! Lucha! Lucha! Anyone else wondering why the WWE doesn’t put Kalisto in the 205 Live Division? Regardless of where you think Kalisto should be positioned within the company, one thing is for sure, the WWE has expressed interest in making him the next Rey Mysterio. Maybe that’s a good idea but the last time we checked, Mysterio is still active in the wrestling business. Instead of making him the next Mysterio, how about making him the next Kalisto? We don’t want to say WWE is caught in some kind of type casting, but when you put lipstick on a pig, it’s still a pig...

Kalisto would make the main roster in 2015 and has won the United States Championship. With all the ups and downs he had in the WWE, Kalisto can rely on his wife, Abigail, for support.

11 11. Corey Graves

via fabwags.com

We’re cheating here but Corey Graves was a wrestler and still is heavily involved in the WWE. Not only is he one of the best announcers the company has, but fans would love to see him back in the ring if he decided upon it. After working his way into NXT, Graves would become a Tag Team Champion.

Sadly, he would have to announce an early retirement due to concussion issues in 2014. We rather he verbally slays our favorite heroes rather than risk another concussion. Graves would marry his sweetheart, Amy, in 2009 and the couple has three children together. The Pittsburgh native has been doing a great job since retiring from wrestling and at just 33 years old, he could be in the WWE Universe for a long time as the voice of Raw.

10 10. Scott Dawson

Has there been any other tag team as unlucky as The Revival when it comes to injuries? Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder were preparing for the biggest match of their lives with the Hardy Boyz at SummerSlam, however, Dawson would sustain a ruptured right distal biceps tendon.

Dawson made his wrestling debut in 2004 and has been with the WWE since 2012. He’s a throwback old school heel and we’re just going to have to wait a little bit longer before they have a serious run in the WWE. Although he’s out of commission, at least he's being comforted by his wife. He would marry Maria Nickolopoulos in 2012 and the two have one daughter together. When Dawson does come back, prepare to see fists flying.

9 9. Konnor

via instagram.com

Konnor may look like a terrifying man when he has face paint on and slamming guys into the mat, however, that doesn’t mean he can find a lady to love him. Konnor has been a member of the WWE Universe for a very long time. He would get his first taste with the WWE when he signed a developmental contract in 2005. From 2005-07 and from 2010-14, Konnor would be stuck in the minor leagues.

He got his big break when he became a member of The Ascension. Konnor, with his partner Viktor, would become arguably the most successful tag team in NXT history. The two would debut in the big leagues in 2014 but have been regulated to jobber status ever since. Konnor would marry his main squeeze, Krissy Vaine, in 2013.

8 8. Tommaso Ciampa

via twitter.com

This psycho became one of the most hated wrestlers in NXT when he betrayed Johnny Gargano after failing to win the NXT Tag Team Championships at NXT TakeOver: Chicago.

Ciampa would make his professional wrestling debut in 2005 and actually appeared as the lawyer of Muhammad Hassan that year. Appearing as Muhammad Hassan’s lawyer, his first moment in the WWE would be in a skit with The Undertaker.

He wouldn’t come back to the WWE until 2015 when he signed a development contract. Forming #DIY with Gargano was one of the best things going for the company until they disbanded earlier this year. Unfortunately, Ciampa is going to be out of action until 2018 due to an ACL injury. His wife, Jessie Ward, is just going to have to take care of him until he comes back.

7 7. Jey Uso

via pintrest.com

We all know about the marriage of Jimmy Uso and Naomi due to their time together on WWE’s Total Divas, however, Jey Uso is also married as well. The twin brother of Jimmy doesn’t always get the spotlight and his wife isn’t involved in the WWE. As a member of the legendary Anoa’I family, maybe Jey didn’t want another family member in the wrestling business.

The Samoan twins came into this world together but definitely didn’t get married on the same day. Jimmy would marry Naomi in 2014 while Jey waited one more year before taking the plunge. He would marry Takecia Travis in 2015 and the duo has two sons together. Can we say future WWE SmackDown Live or Raw Tag Team Champions in three decades?

6 6. Rich Swann

via squaredcirclesirens.com

Sometimes dancing is more fun than wrestling, just ask Rich Swann. At just 26 years old, Swann has a bright future ahead of him. He’s already had one reign as the Cruiserweight Champion and fans really enjoy being entertained by the Baltimore native. He would make his wrestling debut in 2008 and would sign a contract with the WWE in 2015. The rapper, Wale, tweeted about Swann’s potential and Mark Henry decided to invite Swann to a tryout.

Fast track to 2017 and Swann is being shuffled around in the Cruiserweight Division. Although he had more lows than highs in 2017, Swann became a married man in March when he tied the knot with indie wrestler Su Yung. Swann could be sticking around for a long time so who doesn’t want to see a dance off between him and No Way Jose?

5 5. Tyler Breeze

via twitter.com

Say what? Is Tyler Breeze married? Sorry ladies and gentlemen, but Breeze is no longer available. Trained by Lance Storm, Breeze has a great combination of skills and looks to be a force in the WWE. He would sign a developmental contract with the WWE in 2010 and it would take him five years to make it to the big show. He never was an NXT Champion but he has been in some high profile matches in the developmental promotion.

Breeze was a lost case throughout 2016 but since he’s teamed up with Fandango, the two have made things more entertaining in the WWE. As the Fashion Police, everyone is interested in finding out if there are extraterrestrials in the WWE Universe or not. Breeze would marry Ashley Clement, formerly known as Audrey Marie, in 2016.

4 4. Ember Moon

via youtube.com

Ember Moon looks like the heir to Asuka’s throne and could very well be the next Women’s Champion in NXT by the time you read this. Moon would make her professional wrestling debut in 2007. She would earn her stripes over the years, bouncing around to different promotions that emphasized women’s wrestling.

The WWE would sign her in 2015 and she’s been trying to reach the top of the mountain ever since. With one of the best finishers in the industry, the diving corkscrew stunner, Moon is making a name for herself. Although she had a small set back in 2017, this has been a great year for her. Not only is she involved in one of the top feuds in NXT, she married her prince charming, Matthew Palmer. As you see in the pic above, the proposal took place inside the squared circle.

3 3. Jason Jordan

via pintrest.com

Jason Jor….. we mean, Jason Angle, is getting a really big opportunity as the kayfabe son of Raw’s General Manager Kurt Angle. There hasn’t been much news as to why the WWE decided to split up America Alpha but Chad Gable and Jordan can definitely make an impact as solo stars.

After a successful collegiate wrestling career, Jordan would sign a development contract with the WWE in 2011. Like most wrestlers, it took a bit of time before he found his groove in the company. His stock has been increasing ever since he was paired with Gable so it will be interesting to see what happens in the near future. 2017 has been a great year for him, he would marry his wife, April Elizabeth, in March.

2 2. Shinsuke Nakamura

via fabwags.com

Start the violinist, please. Shinsuke Nakamura has taken the WWE Universe by storm since he signed with the company in 2016. Before the WWE, Nakamura was the most electrifying man in Japanese wrestling, working for New Japan Pro Wrestling. Haters are going to hate, but if you don’t see the energy coming off Nakamura then you need to fix your Dragon Ball Z scouter because he’s over 9,000.

Nakamura paid his dues in NXT and made his big league debut earlier this year. At 37 years old, the talented wrestler is in the midst of his prime. With an athletic background in MMA, there’s a good chance he can keep his body physically fit for wrestling another decade or so. Nakamura and his wife, Harumi Maekawa, have been married since 2007.

1 1. Dean Ambrose

via tmz.com

It was the biggest secret everyone knew about. The Dean Ambrose and Renee Young love saga has been documented extensively. A picture of them together here, a quote about them there, and the next thing you know, the two were getting hitched this year. Dean and Renee would pull off an interesting wedding that you usually just see in the movies.

The two would become a family after finding a 24-hour pastor at one o’clock in the morning in Las Vegas, Nevada. Knowing Ambrose, this type of marriage isn’t surprising. We’re pretty sure the two will have a bigger ceremony down the road but until then, we can look forward to the Seth Rollins and Ambrose storyline developing. We’re not jumping the gun, but the WWE hasn’t had a Macho Man and Miss Elizabeth couple in quiet sometime.
