What Is The Plan For PPVs Following The Brand Split?

If you're a fan of PPVs, you're in for a treat - WWE may be holding a lot more events than what wrestling fans are accustomed to now.

According to a fan in attendance at the 38th annual Superman Celebration in Metropolis, Illinois, WWE announcer (and infamous "puppy" lover) Jerry Lawler, who was a guest at the event, revealed that WWE had plans in place to air two PPVs every month, one event for Raw and another for SmackDown.

The months that feature one of the Big Four PPVs (Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, Summerslam and Survivor Series) will only have the one event to emphasize the importance of the PPV.

Will 8 PPVs per brand a year be overkill? How about a grand total of 20 PPVs? This doesn't even include all the WWE Network specials and NXT TakeOver events.

The more, the better? Or is it just too much? Let us know!
