via forbes.com

While most of us watch the big WWE PPV events on the WWE Network, and that is where the WWE is focusing their attention on trying to gain subscribers, they do still release the the shows via actual pay-per-view.

Looking at the numbers, this year's WWE Fastlane was the least purchased WWE PPV ever, taking in 18,000 North American buys and 25,000 in the rest of the world, for a total of 43,000 PPV buys. To give you a comparison, last year's WWE Fastlane did a total of 56,000 buys. Not great.
